Hi all, my missus finally got her first car and I'm proud to announce it's a Corolla. The car is a 1990 Corolla Seca SPIRIT! It's powered by an auto 4afc power-house, has 170k on the clock, and has 15" alloys. Fisher and myself have decided to have a little fun with an AE71 Spirit. Firstly made possible by Fisher getting another daily (RA40 Celica). The stripping has been done, with the cleaning still happening (got to love getting rid of lovely fur and glue :P) and also a few more electrical wires and bolts to be taken out, but we would rather take our time on that side. The motor will be a 2TG, which has plans for a full rebuild with porting, shaving, racing cams, fuel injection and a supercharger. I've upgraded from my AE82 4AC CS sedan P.O.S to this little beauty. Bought in Newcastle a few weeks ago, it was in the June floods. Didn't run and the problem was slightly unknown but came down to the alternator and/or starter motor. picked up this beauty today with bAKER. 1982 ke70 panno. white. 4spd manual, 280,000kms on the clock. has only done about 800kms in the past year so everything is a bit stiff but she's slowly loosening up. will not have the chrome bars much longer. have sold them for nearly the cost of the car. plan is just to have it on club registration and have it ship shape for the vic members GOR run at the end of january. no tents for me! will have more detailed pics and information once i get a good look over it after new years. just wanted to spread the excitment now. :happy:

Hello Rollaclub people, see a few familiar names on here! Thought I'd register and get my foot in the door. This is my Daihatsu Charmant A35, I'm sure you'll be familiar with the name as in terms of parts it is mechanically identical to the KE70. It has a 4K engine and 5 speed manual box just the same, it just looks different. They're a pretty obscure car worldwide, Daihatsu marketed it as an executive car back in the early 80s and as expected didn't really sell many. They faded into obscurity quite fast!
