When we went to inspect the car we were originally looking at the KE70 wagon but it wasn't worth our time.. he had about 5 in total and in the dark this looked like the cleanest one, yet we were deceived, Instead of driving back home and thinking about it we gave him 300 for it and drove it home. Ok, so miracles do happen and I've acually picked up tools and worked on a car :o Since I bent the last one a little, I figured I'd build one properly in an attempt to actually finish a car for once. Hello boys and girls, So about a month ago (Late January!) I picked up two KE70s for a bargain 700 bucks! Unbelieveable! One auto, which I simply spent minimal change and cleaned up and use as a run around, the second: A 5 speed manual, blue, and might I add rare "XX" model which includes a boot and petrol flap release catch under the drivers seat, a taco dash, and velour interior! Needed a daily so got myself a slanty KE70. Wanted a KE30 but someone beat me to it. -.- Found this rig owned by a 24 year old female, whose grandparents had owned it before her. The car had been named 'Carol'. It's got a bit of rust in the normal spots, paint fade all over it and a few love bumps. But it has working aircon! It's a 4 speed, 4k hicam, if that means anything haha. Interior is crap, tan colour with the original AM/FM radio which barely works. So after a new event that has started locally in Perth that opens Barbagello race track up for a whole night once a month I thought I should get something fun to race around in, so here it is. This car is ridiculously fun that it can get you into some trouble , got my first fine in 2 hours after signing the transfer papers :D So plan is to be a have a quick track car but still be able to drive it to te track with not much un-wanted attention .

After owning my white 4age ae82 and loving it , I sold it for the same amount I bought my new Red Lebo spec 4agze ae82 (2500). I had previously raced my white one around Barbagello and was 6-8 seconds off the Wrx's and Evo's, I wasnt loosing that much time in the corners even tho I didnt have semi slicks and was suffering badly from body roll ( kingsprings ) , on the straights however is where is was losing huge chunk of time. So hopefully this will counter some time lost on the straights and when coilovers, sway bars go in will be quicker in the corners. So far i have done body work on all the Rust, Inc replacing brake lines, 2 brand new yokahama tyres on the front with a good pare of 2nd handies on the back, The Radiator shit its self the 1st day of driving her so i've replaced that with a brand new one

Hi, I just joined this forum and this is my first post. I'm 20 and from the very top of Norway, my daily is a 2004 Audi A6 1.8T Quattro. Recently I bought a 79' Ke30 online, and I'm going to pick it up next week! The car is already insured and registered in my name. Unfortunately the car seems to have lived a rough life on the salty roads of Norway and therefore there's some rust on it. The previous owner have rustwelded parts of the channels. What's left (that I know of) is a wheel well and a hole in the trunk. The car have have rolled around 330000km (205000 miles) I'm so excited to pick it up! I'll keep you guys updated.

I bought this KE70 october last year (2015), and tought id make a build thread now. Its been a year and i have done some modifications to it. Gotten a lot of help looking at different threads here on Rollaclub, so thougt i'd just publish it. Hi guys, I'm only new to rollaclub forums but i hope i can be a valued member to you guys, My project is a KE55 corolla coupe that i am building as a race car, throughout the conversion process i will try to keep you guys as informed and uptodate as possible, my conversion is a slight twist to the norm though, being built as a race car i will be deviating from the conventional a little, so just try to follw my thinking patterns. I have decided to paint my coupe myself. What sort of paint should I buy? how far back do I take the old paint? will a 2hp compressor do? or should I buy a 2.5hp?

I'm a relatively new poster here (long time reader) and thought I might chuck up some pics of my DD and Project KE25. Stock KE55 beater, complete with dodgy manual conversion, 50% compression on #1 Cylinder and noisy tappets! Project KE25, currently being stripped for small rust repairs/acid dip/respray and a FULL rebuild/restoration of every single mechanical/electronic/interior component. That's it! This is my ke20. It used to be my wifes car until she got hit by a drunk driver about 14 years ago and said she wanted somehting a bit more substantial. I was driving a v8 commodore at the time so she got that. And her little mustard ke20 was mine. Pulled it apart and did a full body rebuild, replaced the suspension ( kyb gas front and Tokico rear ) and brakes, and converted from a 3k and toyoglide to a mild rebuilt jap import 5k ( full balance, mild cam, HD valve springs with new valves ) and an electronic dizzy.
