Hey all , I volounteer at a youth organization called Car 26, project aimed to get kids of the streets and teach them about cars and how to work on them. anyhoo we got donated a ke30 from a lady whos mother passed away, i bought it of the group and now it my project car. Its a 1977 ke30 , done 96,00 genuine ks , i have the original reciepts , log books and warranty cards for the car along with a comprehensive service record. it has a few dings here and there but not for long. It was a 3k auto but i have recently converted it to a 2t engine with a 5 speed box that i got of a mate with a few celicas. runs good as , still got abit to go though.

This has been a work in progress since early 2006. Finally its looking like happening. I've been planning something along the lines of the ChrisGT ke35 for over 2 years now. Stay tuned. I am doing up my ae71, it has a lock diff, webber carbie, 13inch hot wire wheels, 5 speed manual, 86 struts in the front, ford springs in the rear & the paint is can matte black. The interior was very shit! They guy i got it from had just spray can black the whole dash and all the plastics with out taking them out of the car and tried to do the carpet and roof in shit black carpet. When i got the car home i realized it was sitting lopsided in the front, so i jacked it up & the guy had only chopped the spring on the passenger side & not the driver's side…

hows it goin. heres my old rolla witch now is fukooted after i rolled it on my brother's track ;) but the same day me n my mate got a new beast :yes: 84 ke70 5spd fair overrated exept one bit of rust on the right rear wheel arch n thats it. the interior is overrated n 280xxx ks. got it for 500 buks. but only to get 14k's away from where we bought it to find the temp. guage don't work n that we cooked it :n: ( 46 degrease in the sun ). all cuz the bloke was to fukn worried if he had told us there was a leak in tha radiator that we wouldnt buy it!!!!!!!!!!! now he's gunna pay to fix it hahaha.

One day I decided that I wanted a new Corolla in nice condition. So I picked up the Quokka and saw one for $1800. I knew as soon as I saw it that it was in good condition and came back the next weekend to test drive it. Any one out there know where I can get these? mine have some rust and I thought it may be easier to replace them rather than fix them. Is this a good idea??? soo i purchased this corolla for $600 minimal rust and NEWW extractors to a 2" exhaust! had all new water pump and other shit can't remember :lmao: woo just purchased a 5k for $160 for the bare block+head!! just need to grab some more shit to get her goin. Have owned many toyotas before 2 surfs, an ae82 rolla and a zze 122 rolla, current ly own the rolla engined zook and a 6 inch lifted jeep cherokee, but the sierra and 4kc are much more fun to drive and easier and cheaper to work on. Recently sold my car trailer and have replaced it with this 1981 model Toyoace truck. Its only done 97,000, no rust and a very healthy 5R 2.0 motor. I'm going to make a new back for it with some ramps and an electric winch to pull the car on. Will be purpose built for KE Corollas. Hey thought I'd start a thread for my newest Rolla which I picked up a few weeks ago off a young chick around the corner from mine. Basically its a 1983 AE71 CS Corolla auto. I am the third owner and it has done 187,000km. Bronze in colour, with gold pinstripes. Really good paint, some of it has been resprayed in the past. Pretty straight body, small dent in bonnet just with the usual rust in the rear. Interior is overrated condition tan vinyl/wool, pretty comfy and the seats are alot more supportive than the KE20 and KE30 seats I'm used to. Of course being and AE71 it has the 4AC 1.6-litre which has alot more poke than a K engine, and the auto just makes it p…

I've upgraded from my AE82 4AC CS sedan P.O.S to this little beauty. Bought in Newcastle a few weeks ago, it was in the June floods. Didn't run and the problem was slightly unknown but came down to the alternator and/or starter motor. Hey all this is my puple baby. ca18 det powered ke20 coupe. the car is running at the moment was driving but is just about to go off the road for a r31 skyline brogwarner diff conversion, going to run 3.9 gears and a mini spool. the car has race seats, 15inch simmons usues the 180sx dash with lots of autometer gauges. big pwr cooler still uses the ke20 radiator with the 180 thermo fan, going to uprgrade but works well at the moment. saving money and looking into brake upgrades. will keep you posted on further devolpoments.
