hi am i able to swap a ke30 borg center and pinion and put in a ke70 i blew a diff and don't have another i have read the faq but didnt really understand thanks

Hey all, I've just done a search on here and came up with a thousand topics........................... Question- How on earth do i remove all of the sound proofing/body deadening from the floor inside my rolla? i'd be buggered if i'm going to spend two days with a screw driver slowly picking away at it. I've been told that i need to use some sort of heat gun? WTF? Any help would be greatly appreciated! cheers phatke30!

Hey i would like to remove the heater out of my ke70 just to get rid of some weight as i don't use it i was wondering how i would remove it? and would there be thing that i would have to bypass? thanks

I just took my rolla out for a spin and after driving for about 10 mins, I noticed than when i put my foot down the engine bogged down and through the rev range it seemed to cough & splutter The other thing i noticed was that it had trouble revving past about 5000rpm(didn't seem to want to rev out) I think it has something to do with the carbs (twin dellortos) But i'm really not sure Has anyone come across this and how can i fix?

OK Folks, I am building up a 4AC to go in my KE70, Eventually this will become a Rally Car, yes I know its not a 4AGE. (don't get started om this one, the categories I am planning to run do not allow it) So I have managed to get myself some 40mm Dellorto DHLA Sidedraughts to go on the 4AC, I know HKS used to make a set of intake manifolds to suit webber/dellorto carbs. So my question is, does anyone know how to get them, have made a set etc, can lend my diagrams to making my own etc, I have a good engineer helping on this one, however if anyone can lend their advice to me is appreciated and also easier. hi everybody i am wondering on if anyone has a ke70 khana cross or rally car as i am thinking of building one but i know the tank is hanging out the bottom of the car and don't want to put a whole in it how hard would it be to adapt a ke30 or 55 tank into the boot??

as it says i am wondering how much can be stripped out of a ke70 for my rally car

Hey guys, Okay before you just shut this down and giggle to yourself, My girlfriend has a Vt acclaim and I'm really keen on fitting the electric seat's to the rolla. I know how bizarre it seem's but I was wondering if anyone know's the rule's and regulation's for these. I have heard that as long as the original rail's fit with no adjustment's then an engineer's certificate isn't needed. Could anyone confirm this please? With this in mind, I would also at the same time like to re-upholster the material on these seat's to suit the interior of my car. i read somewhere that the original carby on the 4k it has two butterflies and one opens when u push down the accelerator and the other opens at high speed if thats true is there a way to make that both open at the same time? would this mean that i would have more power at lower rpm thanks

hey guys, i have hooked up my 2" straight threw with one muffler, but I'm looking to upgrade to 2.5" i want it to sound nice and deep and not really raspy like little engine with big exhausts, should i go for a resonator and cannon style thing or a box muffler or something different, i want to achieve a deep note like what you might hear on some skylines and ditch the poo sounding t motor noise buy the way tis is on a turbo 2t motor

after blowing the seals out of turbo(rear oil seals) I'm worried its a water cooling problem or oil problem....... it might have been a bad turbo from day 1 but want some advice so i can not worry so much about doing it again ok so my setup is 1.t piece bottom radiator hose/and the water line goes to turbo 2.top water neck off the head that goes to top radiator hose has a outlet on back of it that usualy goes to the rear of head/this now goes to turbo is this correct??????????????????? I'm aware people usualy use heater hoses and outlet on back of head etc but the way i said will it circulate through turbo properly?????????????? would the bottom …

g'day guys, i am just about to start porting my 3tc head just finished striping it and now its sitting in degreaser, it will be off for 2tg size valves once ported but i realy need to know how far i can port it without going into the water jackets, also at school I'm starting to make a efi manifold for my 3tc, i will be using 3s*e manifold/plenum bits, things i need to remember are, holes for the brake booster holes for injectors what else will i have to work out?, I'm having abit of a late night memory lapse any and all help woll be greatly appreciated

Stupid question i know but it needs a answer. Does anybody know the size of the following? The bolts that hold gearbox CM to the chassis The bolts and nuts that hold the box to the block. the bolts that hold the bottom of the front guard to the chassis the bolts the hold the tailshaft to the diff, 4 of them I'm sure. Hi all, i'm converting my ae71 to manual and have to put the spigot bearing in. I've never done this before so is the bearing meant to be a tight fit in the back of the crank?. On the box for the bearing it says 38x14. I got it from a bearing joint so it should be the right one and i've cleaned the hole it has to go in, but i can't get it in short of belting it in with a hammer. Any ideas? Cheers, Eddie.

Hey guys, I noticed a post a few days back where someone advised against Ramflo air filters. I figured that the element itself is the problem? Anyway after measuring up my engine bay, I reckon Ramflos with the offset will be the easiest fit for my twin DHLAs, but I wanted to see what people think? If the elements in them are crap, I figured I will just by the Unifilter replacement items to go in there? Cheers tom.

Got a ke-38 with a 4afe conversion with a custom vj20 turbo setup. Decided to service it a few weeks ago (oil change, plugs, fuel and oil filter, leads, dis cap etc) and I'm not sure if its related but its been running like crap ever since. I blew an oil seal in my turbo at the same time so i swapped the turbo for a newer but the same model turbo. changed all that and thought it was my plugs all along. Tried iridium plugs at .8 gap with a heat range of 5, it runs good until the turbo spools. Tried standard ngk with a .8 gap and a 7 heat range, same thing. then i got tried ngk racing iritop 7 and it runs rough but will boost to 20+ pounds but only with a tiny bit of …

Don't know if this is going to be relevant here so I will post it and you can all let me know. On the weekend I rejetted my carbs on my motorbike and they needed to be sync'ed afterwards. Thanks to the magic of the internet I was able to find a site that told me how to make a homemade manometer (to my surprise it doesn't measure manliness) that measures the vacuum between each carb. Was a bit fiddly but once you got the hang of it really easy. Also saved buying a carb sync tool. All up cost $5 to rig the thing up. hey my carby isnt the best lately ive been having to on a cold startup pump the pump arm of my stock 4k carby to get fuel to the engine for it to start could there be something wrong with my fuel pump or is it the carby? thanks

just wonder if you guy can help me get the right size mounts. i am doing a 4age ke20 conversion and have the mounts but in the need of the rubber mounts. In saying this i wouldn't know what size or from what car to get them from. would a 3.5cm between the cross mem and the motor work, any help would be great.

in the process of getting me diff out of my KE30 Ive taken off the U bolts, and removed the lowering blocks it had. Ive then put some blocks under the diff centre, and lowered the body so the diff has come off the leafs. Now getting the leafs out, do i remove from the chassis at the read end, or do i remove from the spring? or it don't matter? Also I'm unsure of where or how to remove the brake lines? just wanna make sure I'm doing it right Cheers

Hey, I have searched everywhere for adjustable (camber and caster) tops to suit a KE55. Haven't found them anywhere. Nolathane, Noltec, Wholesale Suspension, Pedders, King Springs etc. All of them have said that they don't make them anymore. Can anyone help with this problem. Pleeeeaaaase.
