Hey guys, I've been thinking for a while now that i should create a ride thread for my car so here it is! a few of you may already know the car and have seen it around. Ive had the car for over a year a now and its turned out to be a very reliable daily. Its still relativly standard still running the 5speed and 4ac. Has XT130 LCAs and reset leaves lowered 3 inches overall. Thankfully the wagon is no longer my daily, managed to pick up a running SV11 camry for FREE! So now i can start work on the much needed rust repairs and do some bigger mods to it. these were taken a couple of days after it was treated to a few cans of aussie export and with the rese…

Hey everyone, i'm new to this forum so i'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before I was just recently given a 1976 Corolla that I believe may be a TE31 because of the VIN number, my guess is that it's the TE31? correct me if i'm wrong, because i'd really like to know. Anyways, there's absolutely nothing in the car, it's really just a rolling chassis. I was wondering where I may find parts to restore the car as well as upgrades to the suspension like coilovers, sway bars, etc I'm intending to put an N/A L28 engine from an 83 280zx which is about to get an engine swapped for itself, tell me what you guys think Here's some pictures of the car:

Update, This car has Plans now :bash: I will be superchargeing a 4k and puting it into this car I have never dealt with forced induction before so alot i have been doing alot of research on the matter I have started collecting bits and pieces so far i have 32/36 weber rescently rebuilt sc12 supercharger AFAIK in good nick Bosch high pressure fuel pump 4k AC Mount Soon getting a fairly fresh 4k to use as the base motor. The plan originally was to do a blow through setup, But i am now leaning towards doing a suck through setup as it seams like it has been done before more so than blow through carby and also i wont have to worry about overpressureiseing the…

Hey Guys It's time for me to start a thread for the build of my 74 KE25. I have been a member for a little while and have done a lot research and have been thoroughly inspired, impressed (and depressed ha ha) by a lot of peoples mad skills with welders, engines, fabrication etc, spacious garages, knack for rare parts sourcing and seemingly infinite time and $$ for their rollas. My first car was a 1975 KE25 SR coupe and I loved it!! She was stripped in a weekend and thoroughly bogged (in places she shouldn't have been ha ha - fender reconstruction) and I sold my motorbike to paint her.....a stoked 15 yr old and his first wheels. I kept it for around …

Hey Guys, Picked myself up a new dd yesterday. '83 st141. Running the stock 2sc but its been rebuilt 30k ago apparently. Already done a few mods to her. Put a set of Ma61 mags on an i stuck my old twinky wheel from my keto in too. Doesn't have a tacho, but instead rocking the huge clock. I have a 5" autometer tacho i could put in, but it seems a little over the top :/ The previous owner has put ma70 struts and brakes into the car, but its running non captive king springs of unknown model so I'm looking to replace those. Considering how much info is out there on e7's i was dissapointed to find it pretty hard to find anything really about what suspension i can …

Well, this little T18... I bought her from this guy and his daughter who had gotten a bit of a run around from their rebuilder/painter, who did the most orange-peely job I have ever seen... Twice apparently! She was sitting on King Springs and matched short stroke shocks, and running a rebuilt, albiet stock 3T-C. Very tidy car, other than the terrible paint. She became affectionately known as Allie. Used as a daily driver for quite a while, with nothing more than couple of rims changes... Then, things went a little crazy... I sourced a 3TGTE from KYP, backed by a W55, some custom coilovers and RA65 brakes for the front, and lower than low kings for the …

"Oh no not another thread", Yes its me again. This is my Datsun 1200 ute thats has more Toyota parts than Datsun. Upgraded to a 4AGE 20V, T50 Box and Microtech all from my 2 door KE30 and it already had KE30 front struts, LCA, Tie rod ends and steering arms. More pics as i go, but this was 4 hours work so far including pulling out the old engine. Engine mounts on the Xmember will be next and by the looks of it its going to take abit of fabrication work.

Picked this one up last night, had been floating on Ebay for a while and no one else went to check it out. Original 98,000kms, now sporting a 5 speed, all new shocks & springs, new 16" alloys & tyres, new front end steering components and immaculate only needing a vacuum and exhaust flange gasket replace. Only thing i'll be doing is replace the wheels with some old skool 15" items or factory 14" with hubcaps & whitewalls.

Hi Guys And Gals I'm Andy (NewAgeDinosaur) Just thought i would post some pics of my Ke30 CA project and the Ke55 mock up car. The red Ke30 is solid as a rock i could only find one bit of rust in it the size of a 5 cent piece. Has a 4k and 5 speed in it and really it just needs a good clean up new front carpet and 2 new tyres then rego it. Someone gave it to me for helping him get his ke55 to start. Once i have mocked up all the CA setup in the old rusty ke55 will transfer it to the Ke30. Am going Ca18DE to start with while rebuilding the CA18DET. Oh and my 2 dogs love cars and cameras. Work so far mount engine and modded the pedal box and pedal to make the hydra…

I have been working on my Peanut for the past few months bit by bits and so far I'm %75 done. My car came with an extra rebuilt 3K motor when I purchased the car. I was going to put 4AGE in it, but decided at the meantime since money right now is pretty tight the rebuilt 3K would sufice fro now. The car came with a K40 4speed tranny, but I was lucky enough to get a K50 5speed tranny from a Starlet at a local salvage yard. The K50 bolts right in with no modifications needed. I am also putting in a dual Mikuni 40s sidedraft setup with my stock motor. I also have a K series header, but I am having clearance issues because of the steering box on the way. For now the stock exh…

As mentioned in my ke30 thread I bought this little beastie yesterday, had been sitting in a grandmas front lawn for 10 years untouched. We put a battery and some fuel in and it went second turn of the key, absolutely no brakes but that didn't stop us going for a drive out of the driveway and down the driveway to the shed and in for a bit of disassembly. Anyhow I have some before photos of as I found it and after a decent wash. Still running the factory 3k with k40, has some interesting trim my other ke20 L didn't have. Though the boot is not original the L badge may not mean anything after all. I tried bleeding the brakes and had no luck there is a break…

Hey my names Nick been a lurch on the forum for quite a while and not too long ago purchased my first rolla. After a lot of looking around and waiting I found a nice standard and immaculate 86 sprinter for sale which I put a deposit down on only to get screwed by the seller. After a little more looking around and waiting I found a nice, loud and sacked ke70 which I instantly fell in love with. The owner offered me a price for it that I couldn’t resist so I jumped on it and it’s now parked in the driveway currently undergoing maintenance for a RWC.. It’s in desperate need of a tune as travelling only 30km sees the fuel gauge read a third of a tank lower and it’s fouling up…

Here is my latest rolla to my collection. 81 KE55 4K with 5 speed and just registered it. Got 4 new tyres, put a sound system in it, and brand new carpet just last weekend, put all the granny spec stuff like seat covers and steering wheel cover, put a KE20 carby on it with mechanical secondry and no vaccuum hoses except the dizzy one. Painted the rocker cover as you can see and put an air filter on it. It has deep dish rims that I just started polishing as u can see. Drives perfect, really light in the steering and with the old carby has good power for what it is. Ripped out the factory tape player and put a pioneer one, am rigging up the amp and sub now. The carp…

I'm on the hunt for some classic Corollas from the 70's, 80's and late 90's for an online commercial for Toyota Corolla. We would need your Corolla for 2 days of filming in Sydney in late November. The car will need to be driven by someone else whilst filming is taking place. Utmost care will be taken to ensure the vehicle is always looked after. The care must be in good order and registered. You will be paid for the usage of your car for 2 days. Let me know how much you would like to be paid and if you are interested I can let you know more details. Cheers Andrew 0437295643

Hi there i just joined and this is my first post. I'm on here because i just inherited a KE20 sl from my grandmother. I'm so excited becasue i 've only ever seen about 10 or so in adelaide. Well mine is in decent nick mechanically, but the interior and the body need some work. i have been dreaming of getting this car ever since i was little and i was just so lucky I'm the only grandchild with a licence :jamie: . my plan is to do it up untill it looks and go's exactly like it just came out of the factory. my lovely boyfriend is helping me slowly do it up, he bought me new door seals.
