hi every one i have recently recovered a old and very rusty ke55 from a backyard near my dads work. it cannot be registerd again but i was thinking of builing it up as a bit of a fun car to drive around a mates farm and up the local forestry. I have no intension of trying to damage this car just for the sake of damaging it. My plans include rebuilding and modifiying the standard 3k and exhaust. Fitting sump guard and skid plate, welded diff, beefing up front and rear bumper's and putting in a push button start. What do you think will get pics of the car up later tonight

well three weeks ago i started this project, puttin the 20v in that is. then it became tidy the body work up (Typical corolla rust spots) :hmm: but due to there not being enough hours in a day the project didnt compeat in the hillclimb last weekend... :lolcry: here is some up to date photos as it sits on the hoist, oh and it does have a windscreen in it...

You've got to love the look of an old wagon and now here it is. Picked it up yesterday, what a sweet ride. Plans for 5K, 5speed, 14inch steelies & hubbies, lowered and tint. Don't know what colour to respray it yet. I'm thinking a plain colour, Non-Metallic. Not blue but, because PMP020 has already got one in blue, so i'd like to be different, if possible.

So... I was having a couple of beverages with this german backpacker the other day, and, long story short, she gave me her car. Its a 1980 Mazda 929. 2 litre, 5 speed, Aircon. Grotesquely overweight, and more akin to driving a lounge room than a car.... with period correct brownest of brown interior, resplendent in crushed velvety stuff (striped and pleated) and laminex woodgrain. hi all, i got this corolla from a friend bout 6 months ago and have only jus decided to fix it up and make it street legal. It's a 1979 KE55 Sedan, when i got it it had major rust issues and the paint was cracked and faded everywhere, the rear bumper was bent and all door seals are screwed so it has never really had a proper wash. the main rust was in the gaurds and is also the worst place to bog. i have completely stripped the car and sanded it back, 90% of rust work is fixed, as you can see most of the car is now in primer and now just waiting to find a good painter. the last places that needs bogging is in the gaurds as you can see in one of the pics taken from…

after a few weeks of pulling my hair out trying to get my car down from sydney, it finally arrived yesterday. its a ke26 panel van, mostly standard body wise, running a 13bt from a series 4 rx7. getting stuck into it this weekend, hoping to hav the motor/box out so i can start stripping it to get painted. basically replacing everything on the car, to an extent. getting the motor rebuilt, just bought a larger turbo for it, gonna get it bridge ported etc. its running an R31 diff in it atm which should handle the power for a little while, so i won't be touching that much. its running standard r31 disc brakes at the rear, and ke55 disc brakes at the front with ke55 struts. de…

Well i thought it was time to start up a project thread and let you all know what I'm upto and what my plans are. I Have 2 Ke's Sitting in my driveway, my old ke55 which i was running with the standard 4k and 4 speed combo, and decided to die on me one night, since that night, it has not been started or moved, it's been close to a year now. its got a near overrated interior, Its been resprayed a few years back before i got it, so its fair decent. Hey Hey, Bought this for a daily. This is to replace my Corona for a while so yeah. Came with new front vented rotors and calipers off a Ae112 i think, So they will go on soon along with new rear rotors and pads. Has the parcel tray still in good nick which amazes me as i havent seen many around. 15x6 wheels, Might be 15x6.5 but not sure yet as i havent had a good chance to look. Hey guys, This is the very first AE82 Seca I bought off a dying friend of the family in immaculate condition and with only 160,000k's on the clock for just 900 bucks, We have had it now for just shy of 4 years and its been a great car, It now has 203,000k's and the only thing i have had to replace is the water pump x2 (1st new one was faulty), The fuel pump x2 (1st new one was faulty) and the timing belt as the one that was on it perished at 203,000k's (hopefully this one aint faulty). Back end looks much like OZ T18, maybe easiest to cut the whole arse off and weld on T18 metal? Hey Guys, Finally got my hands on a Corolla, so stoked about it. Well stoked about everything except the colour :( From memory i think it as an 1995 AE112R. Not 100% sure on that though. I'm looking forward to modding it a little bit, I'm not going to do that much to it though, I'm saving up to modify a 1st Gen Celica, or a old school corolla, I'm still trying to decide. lol. The only thing that i am going to do to the car for now is replace the speakers, and add a sub in the boot. but that is only when i get the money. Anyways here are the pics :D

hello ladies and gent. i recently decided that a ca18 ke70 panel van project was just to big for my first project. instead i bought the ke70 off my girlfriend. the big ends are stuffed so with the help of nathan the guch mechanic I'm gonna fully rebuild and work the 4k. its a sexy biege 82 sedan, its about 80% rust free, with only two little cracks in the dash, and the bonnet and left fender have tiny little dents in them, so its prity much in awesome condition. I'm gona b doin a detalied pik blog type thing on here. i just wanna see if i can do it. anyway. heres some pics when i got it.... oh yeah thats some sexy shit. mmmmm mismatch rims.

Since I've been a member here for few weeks now without a corolla, I have finally decided to buy one, so I'm a corolla guy once more. I just recently bought a 1976 SR5 TE37 ^_^ for $1000USD for me to have as a dialy commuter because I want to be driving with style hahaha. The smog pollution exemption here in california is only up to 1975 only, this really sucks but I think I can live with having a smog check every year.
