Here is my KE25 race car, it competes in the improved production under 1600 class in nsw, I'm currently in the process of repowering it with a 20v engine. Previously it ran a Highly Modified 5K motor, consisting of 5k block and crank, 4age Pistons and rods, 3K Head, Stage 5 Camtech race Cam(3500-7500),Electronic Ignition, 4 into 1 Custom Extractors, Quad Throttle body injection on custom inlet manifild with haltech ECU. G-day everyone this is the first time I'm realy posting anything about my car it has come a long way since i bought it almost 16 months ago. it started as just a quick close door respray but after finding more rust than originally anticipated it is now just about a full on bare metal respray and hotting the thing up at the same time. Since powercruise last month i have been working on my other corolla, decided to get it going and have it as my work car for awhile. Ive had this car probably 8 years, it was a flawless body when i got it, not long after i gave it a bare metal 2 pack respray, then drove it to work for a few years. Hay guys just got my new 26 wagon. It's a one owner log book car with a genuine 37000kms on the clock. It's completely standard with near perfect paint and interior. The only two things the old fella changed were the hub caps and steering wheel (wich are genuine Celica) I will be parting with these if anyone is interested. Plans for the wagon are to leave the paint and interior as is. I was going to do a rotary but we already have one of these going around so I will be building a fj20 with a manual for it. Always loved ke20's and ke26's and came across this wags, which is formerly another members car (PHATKE20S) dougie. Just picked this up and have not decided what i am to do with it (also the wife is not to impressed due to having a Ke26 4door and a 72 HQ kingswood) It is fairly rustly but still able to be saved, all the trim and mouldings are good and the tailgate does not have any rust at all. If I am to keep it, it will probably get a SR20det and set up for the drags but still street rego'd Tell me what you think?

Hi all,This is my project I just finished. Took 3 years, I started with only a bare shell and imported a half cut from Japan. It won "Peoples choice" trophy at Japanese show and shine at Lakeside raceway a couple of weeks ago. It has been blue plated and is getting registered in a couple of days.The 3T turbo engine is original and only has 96000ks on it. All the running gear is KE55,I serviced the fuel rail injectors and replaced front and rear main seals before fitting motor, as it did sit around for a while. So I have finally started on the restoration project for an 1974 Corolla ke26 wagon. He is affectionately called Kevin. Anyone please feel free to ask questions and I'll try to answer then as best I can. But I have started stripping the basic panels from the car. They have been acid dipped and coated in kephos to keep the rust at bay for now.

Funny isnt it how you get rid of one project,say thats the end of it for the moment and then you suddenly have another one about to enter the driveway,almost! Bought from a guy in county NSW for a very good price 4k with extractors and 2 inch exhaust Ke55 front brakes standard diff - have now been through 3 2 1/4'' lowering blocks Saab 15'' intercepters on the rears Future plans have differed between SR, CA, Rotary, and turbo K series. Introducing my latest Corolla...... a shiny KE26 Wagon This is actually my 10th Corolla, and I think it will be my best yet. It has been resprayed in and out in the Ford Territory Mocha colour. I have ALOT of work ahead of me to re-install everything and complete the car ready for the road. I estimate it will take me ~3 years to complete. I wanted something that I can take the wife and kids out in on sunny Sundays and I reckon once complete this will be just the thing. You've got to love the look of an old wagon and now here it is. Picked it up yesterday, what a sweet ride. Plans for 5K, 5speed, 14inch steelies & hubbies, lowered and tint. Don't know what colour to respray it yet. I'm thinking a plain colour, Non-Metallic. Not blue but, because PMP020 has already got one in blue, so i'd like to be different, if possible.

Hey guys. lurking around these forums for a while and i thought id post up a pic of the car i jsut bought. bought it last saturday with RWC and rego. exactly a week later (would of been in the hour) of driving it out of the driveway from where i bought it... well you can see what happened. i was stationary. was stopped for about 5 seconds waiting in a line of traffic. suddenly a big bang. the lady behind me didnt see me at all (sun in eyes) and didnt even get the chance to touch the brakes.

ok, so on sunday 12th of september i went to ipswitch to pick put my ke30. had no rego or RWC so drove it back on a trade plate. endend up paying $1200 for it. was on dead empty so went to the servo, filled it for $45. drove it back to toowoomba using 1/4 of a tank. soon as we go back to toowoomba cops had a nice look :P got it home and stripped all the interior (door cards and all the little plactic parts)washed and got it ready for painting. black black black.:) sometime in the next week or two the car will be getting re-sprayed blue(a little darker then it is now) 3k. 4 speed manuel looking for a 5 speed but! and the origial rims and center caps. well …

Start, and current pics. Next is full boot install, black carpet, sub and amp I have laying around. Car already has custom black door trims, I need to do the carpet, and fix the cracks in the dash. Then comes paint...I am thinking bright orange maybe...or something else that will stand out :P

yo... 1977 ke30 SE bought the 30 a few months ago... came with a tough sounding exhaust but looks stock love that..aint done alot just replaced few bits n peices. new pitman arm. adjusted the steering box, new tires ( soon to be whitewalled). put in some audio some - 6x9 amp and sub.. sounds alright when i get roudn to it put the 2inch blocks in the back.. buy new springs for the front. boot has been carpeted looks nice.. doin some body work now fixing up all that rust n dents etc.. let me knwo what u think!! cheers cam,

well here is my 75 ke30 as i got her almost a year ago now, it was a 2 speed auto stock as a rock and slow as hell, but i have since changed it to a 5 speed from a ke70 and chucked on a weber dcoe 40 side-draft now it can keep up with traffic just! Hey all, picked up my new car today. Its a Corolla KE30 2 door. bought it for a little price, but worth it. bought off a member here, thanks nick :D :) bought as a rolling shell, so no motor, box, tailshaft radiator ect, and no interior, well there is a Crack free dash, and some door trims lol. Has NO rust, ive had a look meself, and the only rust is surface rust where paint has been chiped, or faded a bit. Few nice bits would be, i like the paint scheme, looks smick. This is my Ke30 2 door sedan, its my project been working on it for about a month now. i live in melbourne, Found this little beauty out in the country in victoria, called the guy got all the info and fell in love with it. so i borrowed a mates tandem trailer for a day and went and picked it up, Been a money pit like all old cars but its a passion as you all know, When i got it had a 3K and it wasn't running, missing some basic parts such as starter motor and battery. Hey, I bought this 2 door ke30 about a month ago for parts for my other one but when i got it home decided it was too good to strip so decided to give her a fresh coat of paint and use it as a daily. So far i've sanded all the black paint off, replaced the bonnet and bootlid(twice) and started straightening out the body, the passenger side rear quarter needed a fair bit of work, but i think i got it alright, and a bad dent just behind the drivers door, other than that it's just the usual small dents around the door handles/locks and the tops of the front quarters. Well ive been searching long and hard for a decent 2 door ke30 and i finally found one which i purchased off ebay today. Its a 1974 model been resprayed blue. Apparently an apprentice spraypainter owned the car before this bloke and this was the first car he'd sprayed. So the paint is average but will definately come up shiny with a light polish. I basically was looking for one that was pretty dint free and minimal to no rust or previous damage in the rear and doors as the front half of the panels are easier to find than the back. Alright guys so since gettin my rolla back after some inconsiderate people stole it and thrashed it i have been debating to keep it or not... it has a bit of damage and ill try and get some pics up a bit later on tonight. I'm guna need a new front bumper, possibly a new bonnet. there is also a hole in the guard behind the rear left wheel from when it blew. is it possible to replace the panel or will it require a fibreglass/cut & weld job?? any other ideas while I'm at it?? and it may take a while cos I'm a bit strapped for cash atm, hence y I'm contemplating sellin it. cheers guys

So finally after about 2 years, work has started on my 74 ke30 I initally bought the car off here as a long term project, with a massive build in mind of a 3sgte beams, 6 speed etc. but after not doing anything at all for 2 years, getting into a better position financially work has started with the assistance of my housemate. picked up a 4agte a couple weeks ago and have torn that down mostly and looking into rebuild kits (didn't need it, just peace of mind). so far have pulled engine, box, front struts, and diff. most of the car was apart when i got it with the majority of interior parts there, there is very little rust which I'm happy about, 3 small …

Was thinking about making it into a rolladore burnout car but instead desided to make it more of a track car..
