Here's a sneak peak of my next project. 1966 MS47 Crown Masterline (ute) 2M (I think) with 3 speed manual Its been sitting for a while and I'm just getting around to starting it now, first steps are to get wheels and suspension sorted, make sure it runs and drives well then paint. Just picked up a new set of shoes for her, they are Cragar 15x8 -+0, need to put some stretch on the tires to get inside the guards.

She wasn't in the best shape, engine was dying, diff was stuffed, so on and so forth. My plan is to fix her up and make her look good. Not to fussed about going fast.. I have already put a 4k head on, ke70 diff(due to the old diff seizing up after i welded it..), and 5" lowering blocks(I think it is sitting a bit too low). Hi everyone, I've started browsing Rollaclub a lot more lately due to me now owning a K motor powered car again. I have a duplciate thread on Toymods so I'm just going to cut and paste what I am maintaining there :) If anybody would like close up pictures in better resolution, information or anything just ask and I will be happy to help where I can. I originally purchased this 1983 Starlet in November of last year (2012) and it took some time to get it into the country because of the slackers who were processing my import approval. Finally last week I picked my car up from the quarantine lot and have been working on the compliance side of things so that I can get…

After owning my white 4age ae82 and loving it , I sold it for the same amount I bought my new Red Lebo spec 4agze ae82 (2500). I had previously raced my white one around Barbagello and was 6-8 seconds off the Wrx's and Evo's, I wasnt loosing that much time in the corners even tho I didnt have semi slicks and was suffering badly from body roll ( kingsprings ) , on the straights however is where is was losing huge chunk of time. So hopefully this will counter some time lost on the straights and when coilovers, sway bars go in will be quicker in the corners. Starting to slowly un-leb it Intercooler went black for my stealth New Oz-racing wheels …

Was thinking about making it into a rolladore burnout car but instead desided to make it more of a track car.. This car is a very low budget as I'm no rich kid and I have a 5ltr statesman to run everyday. Pics to come when I figure out how. Cheers Luke

Hi everyone! My name is Jose Garro, and I'm from Costa Rica, Central America. Last year, I bought a 1974 KE20 from a friend's uncle. In general, the car is in a very solid state, and because of previous modifications, has good potencial as a project. It has a 5k engine, a 5 speed T50 tranny, and a OEM brake booster (I believe from a newer Corolla or Starlet). The previous owner put in a set of wide 12" wheels, with low profile tires, and because the bad roads we have in Costa Rica, the suspension (bushings, dampers) and the underbody was in a very bad condition. Also, all the body rubber is, literally speaking, toasted, and the rust problems tipical of this Corollas are p…

I was going to do a black top 4age conversion. I kept looking for sometime but couldn't find the right one, until a ae71 popped up. I went and had a look at it and was immaculate except for the rear guards and abit of rust around the boot seal. It had no rego and needed a blue slip. Decided to restore a Ke 55 from the ground up and customise it along the way. I've been sitting on this project for a year now. I purchased a 79 in typical fashion, bogged like pork dressed as lamb. She came with a five speed and an engine dumped in the bay. Her black interior was completely removed and stored in the cab along with a spare manifold, radiator and all the bits and bobs you want. While her dash is seamless the rear arches and the usual suspects in bottom corners of the rear glass are present along with the expected rust in the front quarters and a kilo of dirt under each of them.

Its had a reasonable life, Owned by 2 mechanics now. The Ex neglected it a bit, but considering its got over 360,000 on it and is still going strong, I can't complain. I replaced the offending spring, but in the process, I discovered that the entire engine is full of crap. No idea how it was still running. It lasted a couple weeks after that until I snapped another spring. Couldn't find a full set of springs at any wreckers so I gave up and parked her in a shed. Engine still starts and it can be driven on and off of a trailer, but I really don't think the engine is worth saving. Running stock 1.5L 2R with 4speed. Drums all round needi…
