Well its about time I release the covers from my latest acquisition... I have only told a few people but when asking others questions, they knew exactly what car I was talking about. So here it is... Its a KE36 panel van currently needing some work done. it is a baby spew yellow colour. I plan on respraying him red, like Redwarf Red and maybe have White signage down the side. Something like "rollaclub Parts & Service Van" I named it Mr Ed cause its a work horse. But if I decide to make it a show van, he'll be a show horse. Its a first for me tho giving it a guy name, but I think it suits it. :fuzz: Current work needed to be one on this car are... G…

For the passed 5 years I have dailyd my 36 wags. Was long overdue for some love but between living out of home and working full time it never quite got the love it deserved. Thanks to COVID I didn’t have to worry about either of those things. So, here’s a pretty comprehensive list of all the work I’ve done over the passed couple of months. Only a couple things left to do to the rear springs then I’m sorted. Note I’m not a mechanic at all, just a hobby. Had to pop her in for a rust quote the other day. Hopefully it doesn’t stop my heart. Thanks! 08/04/2020 - new leads - new spark plugs - new spark plug seals - new rotor - new coil …

So I was having a chat with a fellow corolla owner, and he informed me of a reasonable condition KE36 sitting at, of all places, the dump...and he said they wanted to sell it. Now they wanted $700, and my mate told me he had talked them down to $400. I told him he shouldn't have told me about this, as for some reason, no matter what or where or when or how I am told about a corolla....I usually end up owning it within a week. Which is exactly what happened AGAIN. After a terrible experience at motor registry 8| asshole pieces of shit that work there!! ....................anyways, I decided to head out to have a look at this wagon. Now I have …

  17. so i spotted this panno sitting neglected at a petrol station, thought it was stolen and had been dumped. had a smashed window but looked like it was in decent condition so i left a note on it asking if they'd like to sell. few weeks later, the owner got in contact with me and a deal was struck and i got it towed back to my mates place the next day where we started to clean it up. to our surprise it came up exceptionally well. the back was full of jahova's witness propaganda and heaps of random shit. manky carpet and whatnot. it took a bit of work to get it running but it did run and drive quite well. the motor was a little smokey though, so i decided to pull it. …

couldnt help myself sold my ca18 ke30 and not even two weeks later found this and so the story begins. Bought it as a crahed car that looks like was owned by and elderly lady has about 110'000kms. Plans are either 3rz or 1jz depends which comes up for the right price wont be going anything to serious as was intended as a daily driver so maybe something around 300-350rwhp hopefully reliable. Diff is a early hilux 2wd the shortest or them which is only slightly longer than the standard corolla one so will fit without cutting, just had to move the spring mounts out 20mm each side. The diff i got came with 4.8 diff gears so if anyone has something around 3.7-4.1 ratio may b…

Planning some work on my KE55, time for a build thread. Here goes: I bought this stock as a rock KE55 a few months ago, and have been pouring time into learning how everything works and repairing whatever issues spring up. So far, I've changed the stock carby to a 32/32 weber off a fiat 500 (or similar), given it a thorough tuneup, done a couple of suspension bushings, etc. and changed the clutch after it exploded when I was interstate. It's developed a decent misfire, and I've diagnosed this as a piston ring issue. The motor also has just on 200k kms on it. I figure if I'm going to take the motor out to fix it, I may as well change it for a 5k! I…

I don't want to do much cosmetically as its the classic shape that i love, however i have purchased some rad rims and some fender mirrors to put on at some stage. i would like to do an engine coversion at aome stage, probably 4agze at this stage, but for now its just fine heres a pic of my car. cheers guys :)
