Hey, Brant (RED DRAGON) and i decided to get a few pics of our cars, they are all series 1 AE82's. The red 2 are twinky's the other is my 4AC AUTO CSX.

81 ke70 5 speed, plans, coil overs front, chopped falcons and sierra shocks rear. 4agze, t50. welded diff. and drive it. if anyone has any parts such as cross memebers, motors or anything and live on or near the sunshine coast ill snap them up. ill try to keep everyone updated on the progress, so far ive got it registered and mod plated for the 2 seats sprayed the boot black lowered the back and will do the front tomorrow. found a pair of bucket seats for it (bride) bought a boss for an oldschool steerer i got off rollaandy put some nice wheels on it from andy.

thought i would start a topic on my 2 daily drivers and what i have been doing to them. not so much a project thread but more like an ongoing maintenance log type thing. i bought another 28/36 DCD weber on ebay last week. i got it yesterday, rebuilt it and now it is on the warm 5k in my ke15 to replace the worn out one that i was running. this carb came off a 1500GT Mk1 cortina. the last DCD was from a fiat 1500 cabriolet i think. anyway the thing runs better than it has for a long time. just running the factory 1500GT cortina jetting so far. it is amazing how much throttle spindle wear stuffs with the way your car runs. last week i changed the diff i…

I've been meaning to put this up for months (since Australia Day) I had a BBQ at mine for Aus Day/JJJ hottest 100. Imagine; Snags, nice sunny day, 14m water slide and some cold drinks straight from a ke70 Rolla Esky! I started with a wreck I got for nix a few years back, cut it in half... I then Grabbed a diff from a ke30 and welded it directly to the Chassis rails, got rid of the bump stops, no need for them. Painted it in Australian colours (can job + 20mins = dodgey job) but on strict time schedule. Filled it out with 140mm thick Industrial insulation used in cool rooms, and a Stainless steel floor. Hey my dad and i got a 1980 ke55 corolla 2 door coupe that we are doing up for my firts car. the car is a work in project the 4k motor has been redone and looks pretty good, i have bought the rims for it, the interior still has some work and the paint is still to be done. heres some pics.

A friend of mine just sold his hot little KE25 to someone in Tassie. It went on the boat last Saturday. Its an immaculate little car running a hot 4K with twin webbers, 5 speed box and 15" Superlite Alloys. Those in Tassie won't miss it!

bought this KE30 for $700 about 3 weeks ago. Since then ive replaced the front bumper with a straighter one. Got new balljoints in front, new rear wheel bearings, and a wheel alignment. Replaced the big truck wheel with a not so big one. put in crack free lights, with perfect chrome trimming. Put chrome triming off a KE55 along the window bits. Took the but ugly seat covers off and left standard seats how are. Plan on lowering it 1 1/2 inches, better seats in front, swap out 3k for a 4 or 5k, bigger exhaust, CD player, and a boot install. here is pics as it sits now, sorry for shit pics, camera not working so had to use phone.

i have my self a AE71 panel van and am starting on my qest to do it up. i have come to a problem as i am a motor mechanic and have no idea what to do as far as panel work gos. i started to strip down the car so i could see just how much rust there was and to my suprise there is a f@#k load lots that need to be plated :dance: is there anyone out there in the sydney 2233 area that does this kind of work on the side, as every day i look at it the project just seems to be too far away from a result. i have through about a new shell but AE71 panel vans are just too hard to find and thats y this one needs to be repaired. open too any advice. or if any …

This is my KE 11 4 Door which i've had stored for over 2 years. Just a new battery and of she went. Carby needs a overhaul and the front seal in the box is leaking, other than that everything else seems fine. This car is a 1970 model, 1200 3K, 2 speed Toyoglide, factory tinted glass, front discs, stainless roof gutter trim, fully reclinable front seats ( same as KE 15/17's ) and a small rubber trim that goes around the headlight surounds which i've never seen on any other KE1# series Corolla. Well I have decided to put my 5k motor into the ke20. But first things first, I have taken it down to get reconditioned. I'm getting it bored out and fitted with flat top pistons if available seeing that the 5k motors came with scalloped out pistons because the combustion chamber is in the piston rather then the head, so this will up the compression. Also i'm getting a mild cam put in it and getting it ported and polished and bigger valves if possible. The guy said the motor will be ready to pick up by the end of the month. Hey guys, I'm new to these boards and i thought i'd say hello to you all. Many of you guys hav been an inspiration and are the reason i have this rolla for my first car :lolcry: . Its nothing real special atm, all stock except for a 5speed that i took out of a KE70. the Colour i painted it is 'Mercury Silver' (BA falcon) has lots of matalic in it, looks real nice in full sun :)

Hi, I just joined up and am looking for insiration to finish my ke20 as well as other people that have done simialr things. In breif, I am using a 4AGE bottem end(crank,rods,pistons) in a 5k block with holden V6 roller lifters, roller cam(obviously), 3k big port head(extensivly ported and modified combustion chamber), Hawk EC21 ECU and SC12 supercharger. I have gotten caught up with 355 holdens and need to get motivated to finish this project as the engine itself is ready to assemble. All I need to do is make up the brackets for the blower and finish the inlet manifold. I will post some pics up very soon. Cheers, Matt

Hey all I'm just new to this site but i just wanna show yas a few pix of my rolla. Previously i bought a blue KE55 for $650 with 12mths reg and 4 brand new tires. This car ended up gettin a bit battered so i decided to find myself another 55. I came across this yellow one for $200 but the head gasket was gone and it was auto :cool: I transferred the engine and box over, doing the manual conversion in my driveway hehe i couldnt pass it up tho cos it was pretty clean. Hey there guys, i only just joined this forum but have been looking around for a while. Anyway, my name is Justin, i live in Tassie and i own a Sprinter. I bought her last year sometime ( i think? ) and paid $1900. Pretty good price considering various taxes these days... Anyway, at first i was fairly happy with her, but i slowly got pissed off with the suspension so i chucked in some AJPS 5 kilo front and 4 kilo rear springs, along with some KYB excel-g shocks. Hey guys and girls i've owned my ke70 for 4 months now and have put some money aside. I want to get a 5k and 5speed cause my car is auto right now :y: how much do you think it would cost to get it converted and is it worth it because i'm a bit stuck right now with my crappy auto and my leak happy engine. Ok guys i have been lurking here for a little while waiting to buy a car. Well last weekend i picked up a 1969 KE10B which was advertised on this forum. Reading through here a bit i see its advised to intro yourself and throw up some pictures of your car, so here they are. I bought the car with the intentions of painting it, putting in a new interior and using it as a daily driver. The car is already fitted with a 4k and 4 speed, so i'll be looking out for a 5 speed soon. Other than the KE10 i own an 89 celsior fitted with 20's and an aftermarket air bag controller and tank. Well, I traded ReCOUPErator some money for what you see below. This car will now be built in memory of my best friend, who passed away on the 6th August, 2007. My aim, if I have the money, is to have the car done by her 1 year anniversary of her passing, though thats going to be VERY tough to do, if not, I'll make it by summer 2008. hay guys I'm building up a ke70 (daily drifter) and am wondering what kind of suspension setup and brake convo i will need to keep it road legal I'm planing around 150kw at the wheels. from research i have found that RA60 struts bolt in and the brakes are much larger and vented. but with the ke70 lower control arm you end up with a positive camber. now apparently by using a Sigma lower control arm it changes produces a -4 degree camber (is this legal) which should be pretty good. just wanted to know if anyone has performed this conversion before and can confirm it fits well? i don't mind a bit of chopping here and there as I'm a sheety?? any help? cheers

Hey guys, My name's Russell and heres my granny spec '79 ke35 4 door. I picked it up for $50 from some bloke that had no idea what he was doing... It already had new plugs, leads, carbie and points fitted... already worth the $50 :lock_folder: The interior is in overrated condition, only one crack on the dash. It has a 4K bolted to a 3spd auto which I plan to replace with a 5 speed very soon. Bodywise it has a little rust in the drivers side guard and quarter panel. I plan to spray it white and get rid of the rust. Those 17's aren't mine :lock: but hopefully soon I'm getting some 15's. Will get some more pics and post up soon, Cheer…

hey fella's now i no how to put pics on, here is a pic of my old girl. ill get some more soon mods= resprayed 3tg with twin solex carbs( playing up at the moment) t50 gear box white line front and rear sway bars i have got slotted rotors on front but now up grading to the corona strut,peugot disc and hilux caliper setup therfor ditching the jelly beans and getting some 16x7.0 superlites just got my radiator turned into a 3 core she's pretty fat now!!

Yes another thread by me. But as the topic says I'm building a V6 commodore powered rolla that seems to be popular on these forums lately. This is my old rolla i sold to another member so I'm going to recycle the photos as the new one i bought is the same. Yes thats right it red and has the same white stripe down the side.It is a twin, just doesnt have the hub caps. But i will take some of my own soon. Now i bought this today its a manual car, but no gearbox :P but has all the other mechanical parts. So ill be pulling out the motor, wiring, ECU and everything else that can come off this thing.

Thanks for all the extra bits mate, some will come in handy :D Anyhow, having 340,odd kays on it, there's bound to be some problems. 1: It's running rather hot, sitting at half way on average. So far I've done the following: I gave the system a few flushes because it was running water (rusty at that) not coolant. I tried a bottle of radiator flush but it didn't clean that much crap out, so does anyone recommend something that works well at cleaning out corrosion sludge from the system well? G'day all.. Bought an EA Falcon off a forum member for a bargain price last week, took delivery of it on Friday night.. its my boonger and I love it ;). As it sits, it runs the 3.9L powerhouse (!), three speed auto (should have put oil in it for the trip home) and an unknown ratio diff. Its 'chardonnay' in colour, complete with faded paint! Interiors great except for a few little bits and pieces, which I'll replace sooner rather than later.. Plans I plan on tidying up the interior by getting another centre console (this ones rooted, chronic plastic cancer), seat covers and floor mats.
