Some of you may remember me, I spent a lot of time here when i was in my mid-teens. It's been a couple of years since I've had a Corolla, but since then I've branched out into bigger and better things. In particular an RT72 Corona, which is being handed down to me by my dad's uncle. So I've spent the last 12 months or so researching the car, trying to find parts. Which has turned out to be quite a difficult task, considering finding information alone is hard enough. Luckily for me, I was lucky enough one day to come across a complete car that had been sitting in a paddock for 20 years. Here are some teaser pics of the paddock car as I actually haven't got any pictures of …

just picked this RT142 up on sat, should hopefully get a RWC done this thursday coming and if all goes well have rego done by next week. 310,*** km, 2.4 EFI, Very clean interior, run's very well. Paint's a bit rough on the roof and bootlid but no rust except for a little bit (that i can see) under the front passenger on the car body. Will most likely need some parts for it but it's going to have to be a slow project as i'm at tafe full time and work only part time. My plans are (once RWC and rego are done) get some period-style roofracks, roof spoiler/lip, roll the guards and hopefully fit 15 x 8 gold centre with polished lip (not too sure on offset, as long as they've g…

Hey guys thought i better get a rides thread up for this one. She's ratty as, but that's the way i like it. The interior was fingered, so i put all the red interior from the other 10 in it. Just gotta re-do the front brakes and chuck some new tyres on it and it should be almost ready for a roady. Gotta sort out the gearbox too, she hardly moves under power due to the fact that the toyoglides oil pan's been leaking and it's got next to no oil in it. I'l put a new gasket on the oil pan and fill it up and see if that works, if it doesn't i've always got the 4 speed sitting there for it. Had to be done.... Haven't put the other seat in yet, i…

Hi there all! long time reader first time poster, A few years ago I bought a TA22 with great intentions of putting a 4AGE in and restoring her to her former glory, long story short got bent over and absolutly ripped in the process, 4 years later the motor is half done and the body is wrecked.(so thats the sob story over :D) Yesterday I picked up this baby, http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/58322-black-ta22-1974-celica-3t-gte-motor-intercooled-blue-plated/page__p__585900__fromsearch__1#entry585900 (don't know how to make it a clicky?) Drove home just beautiful, I think the gear ratio's must be out somewhere as it was about 3000RPM crusing on 100kh, drove it f…

Gents, The gentlemen I bought it off is a shade under 60, and bought the car brand new, off the showroom floor back in 1983. It has been garaged all its life, and driven to and from the shops. It has 200,000kms which works out to be around 6800kms a year! Comes with original log books, and a full service history. It has had a bit of rust in the past, but the gentlemen I am purchasing off actually took it to a shop, got the rust cut out, and new metal welded in. PICS: Current Plans for the car are as follows: - Full wash, claybar, polish and wax - Interior Shampoo + Steam Cleaning - Engine bay degrease + pulling out parts and re…

My daily is a 2006 Toyota Hiace, its lowered colour coded bumpers, tint, stereo, carpeted all the rear of it and yeah just all the basics. how I picked it up

Hellooooo, I've been browsing this forum for a while now, from since when I started to get into Toyotas, which was when I first got my licence. how I first got it: 84 ae81 1.3 stroked to 1.5 weber 32/36 extractors cam What got me into Corollas was one of my older mates had one, and he had done it up and it was ʞ©$ɟing beautiful and blah blah blah got into an accident and wrote it off, but I still wanted one, pretty much exactly the same but with my own personal additives. Before my corolla, I was driving a Landcruiser 84 Model ʞ©$ɟing troop carrier fuel eater. It had its pros and cons, but it wasn't what I wanted, on another note, bought it for 2500, spe…

Hey Guys, Picked myself up a new dd yesterday. '83 st141. Running the stock 2sc but its been rebuilt 30k ago apparently. Already done a few mods to her. Put a set of Ma61 mags on an i stuck my old twinky wheel from my keto in too. Doesn't have a tacho, but instead rocking the huge clock. I have a 5" autometer tacho i could put in, but it seems a little over the top :/ The previous owner has put ma70 struts and brakes into the car, but its running non captive king springs of unknown model so I'm looking to replace those. Considering how much info is out there on e7's i was dissapointed to find it pretty hard to find anything really about what suspension i can …

So I picked up a 1983 KE70 last week. I had been thinking about getting a car again, never had a Toyota, had quite a few old Mazdas and a couple of Datsuns. This was fairly cheap so I thought I might as well snap it up and see how much it needs to get it back on the road. It had been a courtesy car for a local mechanic. Not 100% if I'm going to keep it yet, I'm a poor uni student so might move it along if I find it needs too much. It's got a stock 4k-c which seems to run great and a 4 speed. Here are some teaser pics: Dodgy repairs under fuel flap. Rust is bottom of rear guard, pretty bad but seen worse, I sanded this back and painted…

I picked up a KE10, about 6 months ago now, from a fellow member. She is a bit rough, but that's okay. I'm planning to use it on the track car. THIS IS A VERY VERY VERY PART TIME CAR. I don't a great deal of anything to it... Ever! When I picked it up it had flat 12" stockies painted green with a VERY dodgy white wall. It had an autotechnica sports steering wheel, 4 speed manual and extractors. It was powered by a strangely powered 3k. Quite bizzare as this 3k was a little monster. Since the original purchase of the car, I have since stripped out the interior and put in a heavily worked and rebuilt 5k. The 5k was a EVSKI ROLLASPORTS special, ask Evan G. (He m…

I am mega excited to be posting about my latest acquisition, a 1967 MS47 Crown wagon. There had been much discussion on the forums and at club meetings about this nice old Crown wagon at Centre Rd Wreckers that needed saving. I didn't think much of it, assuming it was a rusty bugger or in dire straits, if it had made it to the wreckers. Then on a sunny Thursday afternoon, with a does of the CBF's at work, I decided to go for a wander around the wreckers yard to see what was new. It was then I came upon this beauty. It was straight, almost completely rust free, and just too good to be sitting in the wreckers slowly getting pulled apart. I had to have it, especially…
