This is for my brother as he is slack. I'm currently rebuilding the engine. This is my old ke70 and the wheels on the car in the pic are not on it anymore as i kept them when i sold it to him, but i don't have any updated pics of the car for now. This is the engine and supercharger set up i built for my brothers mate (KE30) and then he sold it to my brother and it is now fitted to the KE70 This is what i have been doing today. Now this was a rebuilt motor from a company "5 Star" and was the engine out of the KE70 originaly but had a blown head gasket, We stripped the engine to find its not that old, its bored 40 thou and i don't know if thats what a 4K came with …

WOW!! I wish I had known about this forum years ago! Ok, so this is my beast. Its a 1984 4spd 1.3 Ke70. Thats a Corolla btw! :P I bought it about 6 years ago for $500 with 96k on the clock. I'm pretty sure the car sat in someones driveway for most of its life as although the paint was somewhat chalky the interior and general condition of the car where A1. The first thing I did to the car was searching through wreckers for a centre console. Found it, bought it, Sweet. Hub caps were also put on the car. Big rwkw there! :S I also managed to source the additional shelf that sits below the glovebox as mine did not come with one. I'm an automotive photo…

G'day fellas. As alot of you might already know, i've slowly been building up a KE55 Coupe for Junior Sedans for the last 6 months or so. When I started, I didn't realise that there would be so much effort into building the car; I started off with the typical young bloke mentality of it being a simple, quick, overnight task... Which of course, it definately was not! I'm glad that I chose to build it. I was offered the chance to buy a few seperate cars; in fact, i had the offer for a car to be bought for me. But I knocked these offers back, because I really wanted to gain the experience of building the car for myself. Thanks to a friend of my dad's, I scored a '7…

Well, I'm at it again. With the introduction of the Evo 2 Corolla, sadly the original car just doesn't cut it anymore. :( Don't get me wrong, it goes competently enough for what it is, but I have stumbled upon an opportunity to have the car I've always wanted. A week and a half ago I purchased for the right price an ex-hillclimb KE20 with a 2TG, T50 and a Celica diff. I now intend to build a TE27 Replica. Why do this when I already have a TE37 replica? Because I can. :) So, now after 15 years of ownership, I'm now enbarking on the 4th serious rebuild of the car. First stop is to strip the 20 of all it's goods. Engine came out today (88222 head on it)…

Hi all, I just recently purchased an unregistered 1981 Corolla KE55 Sedan for $300 with only 264,000 k's. In pretty good condition, paint needs a bit of work but it's definately a work in progress. At the moment it is running just the standard 4K-C engine and 4sp gearbox. Hoping to maybe upgrade to a 2TG engine and upgrade to a 5sp T50 gearbox. I've heard this is the most common conversion...but unfortunately can't do all this until i get off my P plates (stupid new laws!). As mentioned before, paint needs some work, hoping to do a respray of the current colour. Pretty clean inside, apart from the usual wear and tear you expect from a 25 year …

Hey all. Finally got my camera back from my old ladys so i could take some pics of my car. Its all stocko apart from the 2" exaughst, the cheepo steering wheel which all came with the car and the 2kg of bog in the rear gaurds. I have a funny feeling either an old retierd couple owned this car for 90% of its life or its been well serviced as it runs like a dream. The only thing i need for a road worthy is the front passenger seat belt. Any ways here they are

i have this 92 holden nova i got a while ago. the plan is to rego it for daily duties before i get to involved with the ke25. it is pretty neat, no rust, faded paint. i have replaced the drivers door, and a front corner light. need to match up the paint on the new door. maybe a respray in the original colour later. the interior is good, although dirty, think it should come up good with a steam clean. it is an auto 4afe. the bottom end of the engine is seized so i have to either rebuild or replace it. just going to leave it 4afe and auto. i only want it to be a cheap, reliable, economical driver. no conversions. now i have a problem. my shed hasn't got any dec…

Hey guys, I own a 1975 KE30 Corolla sedan. Its basically standard apart from wheels. Has some nasty rust in a few places aswell as a few dings around the place but its not too much trouble to fix considering I am a panel beater. I will be doing a conversion to a 2002 BEAMS 3SGE Blacktop with 2004 model 6 speed box(and a few other goodies). I am just waiting for the engine to be checked out by someone because I can't inspect for myself before I buy. Hoping in will be here in the next 3-4 weeks, if not sooner. I will be running a custom one piece 3" tailshaft, and a Hilux diff with true trac LSD centre and discs. I will be doing a coilover conversion on…
