Hi all, This is my first post and I'm kinda new around here but I thought I'd start documenting my 1981 Toyota Corolla Ke70 build and everything else that comes along with it :wasted: So i bought my little poo brown corolla about a month or two down in Gosford (I live in Sydney) with around 69XXX genuine kms on it off some dude looking like dis, high in the air, but on stock steelies: It was in pretty good condition bar a few dings, had close to no rust, deep dish steering wheel, new alloy radiator and started and ran! Had a pretty dodgy drive back home as the thing pretty much didnt have brakes :wave: I wish I took photos of them but it was metal on me…

Hey guys :) So I'm here to post about my new ke70 corolla! I'll attach photos of my progress, so far only had her for about 2 months, in-love already!! She's got 220 000ks not bad for her age ('83). Had a few carby problems with dirt stuck in the carby. Recently had the exhaust fixed due to two leaks and a new fuel pump installed. It's a slow progress which I'm looking forward to the end result :) Any tips or help is muchly welcomed as I'm new to this type of car.

My mate bought this rolling shell for $300 as a project for us to do. But after a few weeks we sorta lost interest due to too much rust work needing to be done. It did come with some extra bits that helped us down the line, like suspension, diff, interior and rims.

Recently inherited this from my Auntie who purchased it new from the local Toyota dealer WESTLAND TOYOTA Werribee. It had been garaged since new and was driven up until 2 years ago when my Auntie gave up driving after a few bingles. Inside it is very clean and there are some really great parts along with some damaged parts. I plan to get her running as my daily and slowly clean her up. Photos below I have not washed it yet. Took some pics to show starting point. Showing her worst side. Panel damage from 2 years ago from Auntie.

Finally got my hands on one of these bad boys. 210k on original motor. Stock as a rock besides the steering wheel. Bit if rust around the boot/rear light area but nothing too bad. Not sure which way I wanna go with it yet. Leaning towards drift.

Back in December 2014 I bought and learn't to drive in my first car, a 1984 Toyota Corolla KE70 running project. At the time I bought it previous owners had done a few things to it, stuff that I know of were Car was just in Primer, Weber Carby, King Springs, Striped alot of the interior out and what was left in was sprayed black, Head unit with no speakers, Window tint and probably a few more things. just bought a ke70 5sp for a bargain $200, he says it needs a new carby and booster, the breaks still work just very bad, (have to push all the way in with alot of pressure to work at all), would it be the booster or something else? also would a boss kit for an ae86 fit? and would the strut bars from ae86 bolt straight in?

It's an '84 ke70 wagon that I picked up close to two years ago now, paid $2150 which might have been a tad too much due to the rust but ahh well. Hey peeps! Always loved the ke70 and finally picked one up. Sure not the best condition but I couldn't refuse the $150 price tag and PANEL VAN! Motor is seized aswell as brakes. Manual box feels good. Nearly no rust except a few pin holes in not important places. Interior doesn't exist. Not much planned for it. Replace motor and put a auto behind it. Low and on a nice set of rims. Interior, just bring it back to standard. Nothing flash just after a nice cruiser. Wishfull thinking: 7k motor. Commodore/magna front brake. Lsd disc brake diff from a corona. It will be a slow build as I'm currently finishing my Datsun 521.

Due to covid19 pandemic work are suspended here in the philippines, so i have to spend the whole day staying at home. This gives me a chance to work on my project ke70, instead of spending my whole day watching ke70 restoration process in youtube. I decided to strip it to bare metal using angle grinder with 36 grit 4" flap disc (no available paint stripper paint shops were close due to lockdown), removed all carpet, dashboard etc.

Hey Rollaclub! This is my first go at building a track car, it's an auto KE70 that I bought from redae71(thanks Luke!). I plan to do the standard 4AGE swap, get the car reasonably light, and sort out some decent suspension. Oh and quadlights! So I got the car about a week ago and drove it home on an unregistered vehicle permit. Recently i have bought a 1984 cs ke70, i bought it off a nice 94 year lady :) so she had not been much of a daily driver, the car only had 45,500 km's when i bought it. garaged its whole life so the cars paint, interior, roof lining, chrome and anything you can think off was all in overrated condition. And i have a lot of plans for it :) let me know what you think :)

Picked this up about 6 months ago now. Ive been doing small things over the time due to lack of money so thought there was no reason to post up a build but now Ive worked on it a bit thought Id promote it a bit. One day I want this to be close to perfect (in my eyes) but this is what I started with, First thing I did was fix up the rear leafs, currently running a 5 leaf pack, 2 flipped. Stiffened up the rear end significantly but hoping on an again less bouncy setup in the future.
