when i ask can you slap a 351 into a ke20 i don't mean just drop an engine in and drive. i mean engineered and road legal. most will say I'm a dreamer but honestly can it at all be done? I'm not the biggest fan of turbo cars as fun as they may be the rumble of a v8 always gets me i was thinking of doing this to my mk2 cortina which is of similiar weight, but come on, in a ke20 it would be the sweetest thing. i know i can't legally put a engine bigger then a 2.0 in a ke20 and me wanting a 5.8 is a massive ask. but if i was to only use the body of a ke20. for example, use an ford xe chassis, with a ke20 body and cut the chassis to fit. anyone know of such…

Hey There, I have just purchased a sweet 2000 ultima and would love to know about some intake options that people know of, I am going to upgrade the intake and exhaust first then look at suspension and the list goes on. Would any one be able to explain the intake set up of this pic I found wih a 7afe with trumpets? It looks tuff as! Would this engine fit in my car with this set up or would the air filters be facing the back and all squashed up? As in what I would need to modify my current set up to get this under my hood. Just picked up this ke70 for cheap a few days ago, the motor in it is good runs really well but its a auto. the body has rust in the boot and around the fuel cap (its pretty bad). the interior is surprisingly clean Not really planning to go too nuts with this car, I'm just gonna lower it and paint it, and mabye some wheels. I bought it from Just Wrecking Toyotas on the cnr of South Tce and South Rd in Wingfield. The guy said it was lucky i called when i did because the car was about 10 minutes away from being completely wrecked, the guys had allready gone out and marked all the parts with a texta which i now have to clean off, lol.

Here's the newest addition to Wagon Mafia, Havasu Chapter. She's a 1980 Corolla wagon, 3TC with an Auto trans. The car was bone stock when we got it a couple of weeks ago, picked it up right. Someone towed it wbehind a motorhome or something, so there was a big ole' gnarly towbar in the front, and they did a horrible DIY trailer light kit, and whoever did it obviously was not a technician. As you can see, the floors are all there, and the car is pretty solid, some scrapes and bumps, but overall not bad for the money. Hey guys, Recently bought myself a 82' Flat front ke70. Bought it off "old fella" on here. I had been looking for a few months before i found one i was keen to buy. It has a rebuilt engine, with a 25/65 cam, new exhaust etc. Was by far the best ke i came across in my price range. I wont be going all out on this car as i have a 78 XC falcon that takes up the majority of my spare time and a 77 120Y datto that takes up the rest. Hello Brethren, Picked this up in my new hometown of Cairns. It’s a 1979 KE55 Corolla. It comes tinted, lowered on Kings / Monroes, with some nice 16” rims, fully resprayed in the original colour of Kingston Blue. It’s got the stock 4K with a 3sp gearbox. First carby I have owned, and first RWD for that matter :hmm: Here it is. I don’t have any interior shots on me at this minute, but will update that later. It has a fairly fresh tiwin cam 4AGE 20 valva (aka silvertop) It was a nice surprise to me that it also came kitted with the interior for a corolla trueno/sprinter which feature much nicer sportier seats that are so damn comfy which make my everyday commuting a pleasure. Ive got an 1993 corolla manual with 189,XXX on the clock, which has been lowered with 15's on it... Doesn't look too bad but iv'e always had my eye on a ke20.. Inside is stock as a rock.. although have put a full Alpine system ranging from head unit, 2x 6" with tweaters... 2x 6x9 in custom parcel shelf amp and sub... Hey guys just bought a KE55 corolla :D just thought i'd join this forum to see what others have done with theirs and what i can do to mine. bought this car last week and i like it so much more than i thought haha good fun to drive but its a bit slow for my liking so I'm looking for parts/ ideas to make it go that bit better without having to do an engine conversion but i probs will end up doing that one day but for now ill stick with this motor til i have the money. just a few things about it... its done 204000k's, stock standard performance wise, lowered on 13" splats and overrated condition on the inside 4 spd manual.

Wanted to show off a previous toy I once had. It's a 1981 Toyota Cressida with a mild Holden 308ci V8. Crane cam, Edelbrock manifold, Holley 600. Worked Trimatic, and Ford 9 inch diff to suit. I've had this KE70 for about 2 months and so far and I've only done a few minor cosmetic mods. De-stickered, old steering wheel I had, pool ball shift knob, monster tacho mounted dodgily in dash, seat covers & aluminum exhaust tip. The original tip was about 3" long after the muffler and the new one is about 7". It's just siliconed on for a bit of bling bling but it it actually made the exhaust a lot quieter. Current specs are: 4K engine with a cam of unknown specs.
