hey guys picked this up off a mate for nuthing has a buggered water pump housing and thats all few lil rust spots in the back above the rear right wheel arch and on the bonnet got bored waiting for a water pump housing to thought id do a bit of touch up paint painted the top of the engine and radiator lol looks ok just need to clean her up has genuine 130000k`s on it so I'm happy for nothing tell me what u think cheers ae pig

Howdies all, names David, nice to meet you. Recently got my hands on a KE70, it wasn't planned, more so a compulsive buy. The opportunity was sitting in a wreckers yard for the fine price of $500. It wasn't defected, and i have a sh*tload of time on my hands, so i figured why not. Bought it, trailered it home (no rego or plates) and its sitting in the backyard. Its a 1977 ke36 van with a 3T 1800cc engine with Carmira fuel injection headers 2 inch exhaust 5spd box ta22 rear axle LSD ta22 front brakes. Body is in fair condition for its age. Also came with a turbo set up but not interested in it. As I have a 3TC fuel injected turbo engine sitting in my garage that I will put in for a bit of fun. Hi guys, just thought id post up some pics of this old girl its a Ke17 sprinter in need of some love that has come our way. I picked this up from shepparton victoria this morning after buying it off eBay for $610. It drove the 3.5 hours almost flawlessly. Lets see, It appears to have some type of king springs in the front they are yellow and new, new shocks. a 2" sports exhaust, it sounds really really good, except it drones a little at 95km/h. a 5k, unknown mods, goes like a shower of shit compared to any 4k I have ever driven, stock carby, ke70 radiator. Needs a new diff I think, something is grinding in the back end, it I think is a stuck brake shoe, or f*cked bearing, will see when that comes. 1st gear syncro is shot. will crunch if not put back into first very gently. …

Hi all, I have a 1989 F reg AE92 GTi-16 with the tvis 4age. I'm 14 and the engine is coming out in a month for an overhaul that I'll be doing myself at home to get some of the horses back. Its done 81k miles and I have purchased a TRD 20% uprated Heavy-Duty Clutch, Ashley Exhaust System and a GREEN Power-Flow Twin Cone air-filter, which will all hopefully get me to 140BHP There is a lot of rust on the offside front arch and the nearside rear arch and on the struts inside the car, but I will be getting it sorted soon and will then have it resprayed in white. I'm wanting some advice on wether to rebuild the 4k in my starlet or drop a new worked 4k or rally 4k in..?? the 4k in it at the moment apparntly hase a race cam..but not sure if it actually does as you can usually hear.. and its running allright at the moment but the previous owner said it has i worn big end bearing.. well, after much procrastination i have finally gotten around to making a thread dedicated to my 1972 KE20 corolla. i acquired it back in 2007 as a birthday present from my parents. being 17 and having no money it just sat there for 8 months. then one day i decided i needed to start on this project so i could get it done before my 18th birthday. so the car went off to the local mechanic and the diagnosis was not good. it needed new front shocks, the front seats re trimmed, a new bonnet(this one had rusted so bad half the frame had collapsed) and then the big one. the engine had done the big end bearings. it was dead. so i did a bit of research and found Peter Robinson…

i brought the car in 2007 for 4 grand, spent approximately 10 grand on modifying it. It had a 1.6 litre engine in it but i pulled that out and put a 2 litre in it. Spent 2500 of the 10 grand on the sound system and getting the sound proffesionally tuned. cheers Josh

Well, i finally sold the MS65 crown that i had (the green one on the wisemans radrollaz cruise) and reduced my car count to 3. I could have that so I've bought 2 60's crown utes. One has got a decent body (well i find that out for sure when i pick it up) but not much else and the other is running, has full trim (which is in resonable condition) and everything else but also comes with a massive rust hole. I'm hoping i can make one decent ute out of 2. hey guys i brought this car a while ago but have pretty much rebuilt the whole car since. was just your average ke30 with a v6 and supra 5 speed fitted. i have since repainted the car fitted a vr commordore diff 4.11 gears and spool, welded in cams approved cage race seats and harnesses, full adjustable suspension and nolathane bushes, changed the wheels to 14x7 globes(street) and 14x61/5 longchamps(track). engine side of things it was stock but now has 70mm tb, sc14 supercharger (8psi) bigger injectors and computer to suit and a set of custom pipes are on there way to help it breath. first pic is the day i brought it the others are when i finished it.

Just found a new Project, Just when i was about to re-power my Ke17 SL, I found an unbelieveably rust free Ke15 sprinter. So plan have now changed for the ke17, now will be selling it ealry next year - selling as is, with the fully worked 5K. Well... I've bought myself a Ke35 Coupe. It's an auto. I've decided to make my own thread because I felt like I was Hi-Jacking Josh's Van thread. Plans: So far, to get it started and running, then Cut & Polish, and park it in the backyard. So far I don't have any plans, I still need to check the car inside out. The car has an Immaculate "Grandma Spec" Cream Vinyl Interior with 45,000kms on the clock. The car appears to be RUST FREE all round (that we know of). bought this around october 2008, from Japanese Performance Imports in Wingfield, it came with rosejointed castor arms, T series LSD a pair of SW20 MR2 Buckets, and some positive offset 14inch longchamps. Wasn't too happy with the pressure pack can panda paint job and rounded out rear quarters due to dodgy repairs so within the week a deal had been made with John and Simon from Phoenix Paint and Panel to fix up the dents and straighten out the panels. Before long the project had escalated into a full respray. Ive had the car for over a year a now and its turned out to be a very reliable daily. Its still relativly standard still running the 5speed and 4ac.
