man I'm so happy to get another rolla again $400 yeah its a KE70 with a 4 speed and a 4k engine, but i will be swapping the ke55 5 speed gearbox and loads of other stuff like timing chain, cam, carby, wheels, list goes on hopefully it will be pretty cool. i hope front wheel bearings arn't hard to fix il have photos up soon... when its delivered man building cars on centerlink pay is a bastard

i have this 92 holden nova i got a while ago. the plan is to rego it for daily duties before i get to involved with the ke25. it is pretty neat, no rust, faded paint. i have replaced the drivers door, and a front corner light. need to match up the paint on the new door. maybe a respray in the original colour later. the interior is good, although dirty, think it should come up good with a steam clean. it is an auto 4afe. the bottom end of the engine is seized so i have to either rebuild or replace it. just going to leave it 4afe and auto. i only want it to be a cheap, reliable, economical driver. no conversions. now i have a problem. my shed hasn't got any dec…

funny how things get out of control some times, i have a ke55 and stumbled onto rollaclub while looking for ideas on things to do to just speed it up a little then i thought SUPERCHARGE 4K!! so i got one then i thought SUPERCHARGE 1600!! so i got one (4a + t50) then i thought better not take car of the road so picked up the ke30 then i thought SUPERCHARGE 1600 TWIN CAM!!! so i picked up a front cut today $900 so starts another project thread, stay tuned for more (and no i can't post a pic yet, i just spent $900 i can't afford a camera this week)

hey guys, i know ive spoken before about my rolla and putting the SR into it, so i thought its time i should put some pics up, yesterday the engine mounts were completed. ill let the pics do the talking from here: first day i got my ke70, knocked on some ladies door and offered her $200, it had head problems. she was going to give it to a wrecker. How useful the standard motor has become. its still in the wheel burrow to this day The day i brought the SR home. The engine mounts.

gday everyone, this is my ke16 I semi rebuilt, painted etc. It's got a rebuilt 4k with 7ke fuel injection, crane cams electric distributor and coil, 5speed, tacho. We put it on the dyno last friday and had huge back fire type flutters out of the throttle body, since running the motor in over the last two weeks it hasn't been reving well at all, so i thought a tune would sought things out but the owner of the dyno seems to think a lobe on the cam has been chewed off. We measured the valve lift and it looks like my rebuild could of been a rip off, I asked for a tighe cam with .423 valve lift and we measured around .25. The cam comes out tomorrow for…

Hello Rollaclub people, see a few familiar names on here! Thought I'd register and get my foot in the door. This is my Daihatsu Charmant A35, I'm sure you'll be familiar with the name as in terms of parts it is mechanically identical to the KE70. It has a 4K engine and 5 speed manual box just the same, it just looks different. They're a pretty obscure car worldwide, Daihatsu marketed it as an executive car back in the early 80s and as expected didn't really sell many. They faded into obscurity quite fast! well ive been a user here for a wee while, asking a few ke10 related questions and here's why this is the old girl as i first bought it, wasnt running but managed to get it running for a bit. wasnt regd tho, after a bit of time i decided to see what was under the paint. Picked up a bare 4age for it in need of a rebuild so that will be started when i can be f@$ked. Ha so very true. 7 rib 4age bigport. I have owned a few Corollas and have visited this site over the last 18months. My first car was a Toyota Corolla Ke30 4door, the red-orange colour and was bought in early 2006 off my sister. Had a few mods done to it but its journey came to an end a week after i got my P’s. Yeah, the Macca’s hedge was not as welcoming as first thought, if i could have only spun 5 metres more so it was the driveway, but maybe not. Had a nice 3k in it that seemed absolutely unbreakable.

Hey guys Some of you may remember that white auto KE70 that was for sale in the car trader for a few weeks. Well I ended up buying it. And yea thats pretty much it. heheh, Nah. When I got it the paint was faded and the whole car was in need of a good clean inside & out. The car itself is pretty overrated. After giving it a wash my dad suggested that I polish it up a bit to bring up the shine. After a whole day of hard work I finally got it looking like brand new. Hi. I was given this car to me buy my old man as he is looking for a falcon ute now. I know its not a Toyota but i like this website alot more than others so its going up here. Specs: 1986 NC Mitsubishi Pajero short wheel base model. 2.6 astron engine and 5 speed Auto front hubs. Aluminum checker plate side steps Aluminum 2 poster bull bar with 100w spot lights. Brand new complete rear diff 20,000km ago with LSD. New front cv's a few weeks ago. Just replaced timing case seals and gave it a service. Fitted 235/75/15 tires too 15x7 steel wheels. Just picked this up and have not decided what i am to do with it (also the wife is not to impressed due to having a Ke26 4door and a 72 HQ kingswood) It is fairly rustly but still able to be saved, all the trim and mouldings are good and the tailgate does not have any rust at all. If I am to keep it, it will probably get a SR20det and set up for the drags but still street rego'd Tell me what you think?

hi guys i have a ke70 that i am going to MOD but not sure what i should do to it i don't want to spend heaps of money So far i have extrators and 2 1/4 in exhaust and a webber downdraft on it and its on its guts as you can see from pics i now have a set of twin su's on manifold that i am going to put on it i want to get a cam gring not sure what is best to do??? also should i shave the head and by how much??? i want to change over to electronic ingnition but can't find one if anyone has any sugestions on what to do would be great thank you i will keep updating this as i progress with the car cheers corey

So this is my new toy, It was build by my father about 25+ years ago, I recently acquired from a family friend, (it was build for him) It was repainted in my dad's racing colours when he died and was present at Rally Australia about 13 years ago. it's a complete Animal to drive. The 2t is no longer a 1600 it has the internals of the 3t with a very aggressive cam. the diff is locked and the rear end is heavily reinforced and all the goodie in between. Was going to get one before my 20 but needed a car in a rush so that slowed me down for a long while. I've missed out on a couple due to lack of funds but finally got one. I thought i was over Corolla's for a while.. Apparently not! Basically bought it to quickly tidy it up and make a half practical daily.. My lowdown Celica and Crown are far from ideal.. So here it is! My Ke38 Body is a bit rough, Fair few rust patches and a few dents will need the porta power but pretty happy with it. Plan is to weld in Celica rear guards as the rear arches are fubar, Weld up the rust, Drop in a motor and rego it I'll do some more to it than that but those are the initial plans. So!.... I've had this for a while. A mate of mine said he saw an old corolla his buddy posted and thought I might be interested. Called him and turned out to be a 67' ke10! ????. Long story short, picked it up for a steal and took it to the missus brothers place to store it. I had originally bought the car to use as a doner for my blue 70' ke11 but turns out its a very very straight shell with the normal rust in the spare wheel well and a few tiny spots up front in the sils in front of the door, besides that, I'm stoked! I was actually hoping for a TE27 but was very happy when I found this straight and complete clean title TE21 in Sacramento. Drove the hour and fifteen to meet my cousin and we headed to meet the seller at STS (Santo Toy Shop) in Sac. After looking over the car and a few test drives, we agreed on the price and completed the deal. Got it home safely after a careful hour and a half drive home in the rain. I've got a flame onrange 2dr ke30 with a v6 and a sta blower 11psi t5 gearbox hilux diff welded 4.3s fmic bosch 044 pump custom surgetank 3/8 feul lines malpsi reg 630cc injectors and wolf3d v4 comp with 17in vipers and more shit...... just worderin is any 1 entering in the easternats... i'm goin in the burnouts agian thats if my blower is rebuilt in time... heres a old pic at calder when i was getin ready 2 go in the burnouts i drove it there won the trophy and drove home. it was stock v6 auto then. i'll have some new pics up soon .

Bought a new KE70 today. Its beige with late model front. Its got a locker, cut springs, tacho dash and twin upswept tip :D Oh and the best part hardly any rust, just a little bit in the tyre well. Paid 400 for it and it came with loads of stockys and tyres. A few hard old 155s to help the 4K slide ;) Few problems are cracked windscreen and a pretty mangled r/h/f guard. but ive got the parts to replace these on my old sev. Plans for it are firstly tidy it up and do a bit of suspension work, then either my 4K Turbs setup or a 16v. Ill get pics up tomorrow, when i get it home.
