So I have a few Corolla projects at the moment: KE36 KE55 But this is about the KE38 that I've decided to build for one of my younger brothers, who is learning to drive. This is basically what I started with. I had removed some front end pieces, the grill had been broken, there is a little rust around the usual places, it only had a block sitting in the engine bay, but overall it looked too good to scrap, and worthy of being restored. my project sr5 66000 milles

Well guys, me and my friend wrote off my last project car (VR commodore) So i've decided to buy This AE92 1989 Hatch, for $1000 I've been Looking at getting a 4AFC for a few years, I've done my research on the 4AFC-4AGE I plan to get some more mods for this 4AFC, i have a 32/36 twin Barrel weber carby to put on her with a GT40 coil, And she came with extractors on her alrdy, Let me know what u guys think, I've also discovered how to turn a AE92 into a AWD

After six months of hunting for a project car I have finally got one. My plan is to restore this car to a presentable condition which I like the look and feel of. This will be my second car so it will be built in order to enjoy the experience of driving it. I have limited experience working on cars but have managed to pick up some skills and knowledge through my studies. I am an undergrad Mechanical engineering student in the fourth year of my degree. In May this year we were lucky to travel to Japan with 2 other couples from the Classic Japanese Car Club. The highlight of our trip was a visit to the Japanese National Museum where there were 2 corollas , a 69 KE10 coupe which was a 4 speed column shift and a LHD sprinter. Moving on to the Toyota Museum , in the Japanese section, was a 67 KE10 and a red KE15 sprinter. These cars were brand new and after a little talk to the curator, he allowed me to lift the bonnet of the sprinter.I will never forget the thrill of seeing these cars Cheers Lou

This got started after seeing a Crown ute wanted when checking the wanted to buy section a few weeks ago. I was on Gumtree browsing and typed in "toyota Crown Ute" and 1 came up in all of Oz. It was in Inverell NSW and I was in Caloundra QLD so after a few phone calls and Douggy agreeing on a road trip off we went in a borrowed Landcruiser with trailer. Since the ute was still regoed in NSW I drove from Inverell to Glen Innes then Douggy drove north and just kept going, stopping at Warwick for food n sleep. Hey guys, new to the forum and just bought a ke55, always loved the rollas and finally got my hands on one :) No idea where to begin, has had custom paint job, Has a 5k and a 5 speed gearbox. so much i want to do with it already and only had it a few days :) Any suggestions on where to begin would be great. cheers

so this is my newly aquired ke70 four speed manual 4k-c engined shitbox. i say rolling relic because besides the rust repairs it needs which involves the two spaces above the taillights and a small patch in the roof. when thats fixed and ground down and undercoated. the paint will be left the same, the spotlights will remain. the interior is staying as it is. it will eventually have a worked 4k and hopefully go sideways on demand but i don't want to roll the guards or anything i just want to keep the old school patina and slam it on some black widened stockies. oh and theres abit of rust in the fuel filler cap but an easy fix. the wheel arches seem to b…

Hey Rollaclub, I've been posting here for a while now - lurking even longer - and figured it was about time I shared some details of my current projects, being a silver KE55 XX coupe and a buff KE55 sedan. First the coupe... I first owned a yellow KE35 when I was 16 in 1989. It's my profile pic. After a couple of years I had thoroughly trashed it, so traded "up" to a VK Commodore, then an XF Falcon, then a ZA Fairlane before picking up another bright brown KE35 around 1997 for $800. Hey Rollaclub! Here's another project I have bitten off. While looking for a coupe I came across this buff coloured sedan on eBay. Of course the nature of eBay is that sometimes you bid and end up owning things you didn't intend to. I really wanted a coupe! This is a relatively low mileage sadan (167,000km) that IMO just needed some loving. The previous owner fitted a new clutch and rear main seal, then got bored of it before he put it back together. I've spent most of my free time modifying my 4WDs the last couple of years but I decided it was time for a new project, a Khanacross Corolla. The goal is to just have something to work on and have some fun at the local rally club, plus it seems like Khanacross is a good entry point to get into motorsport. Hay guys just got my new 26 wagon. It's a one owner log book car with a genuine 37000kms on the clock. It's completely standard with near perfect paint and interior. The only two things the old fella changed were the hub caps and steering wheel (wich are genuine Celica) I will be parting with these if anyone is interested. Plans for the wagon are to leave the paint and interior as is. I was going to do a rotary but we already have one of these going around so I will be building a fj20 with a manual for it. Bought this about 2 months ago, gave wash and wax today. Took some photos thought i will share them with you guys. It was a 1 owner, 180,000 kms on the clock no rust,drives so tight. I think its a nice find. And a couple of pics of my ke20.

Hey all, Long time no post, but I'm back in a rolla after about 2 years on the dark-side. I recently purchased a KE70 as a slow project for myself and brother / weekend car for myself. Breakdown: 1984 slant front Toyota White recent home spray job ( Pretty good job) 5 speed 300k's sloppy diff Shot carby interior not in the best shape Not drivable in current condition Reasonable price The Plan: Fix it up nice and cleanly. Some nice wheels, Suspension and brakes. RWC then Rego! Not keen on going way over the top like my last rolla. I know next to nothing about the xE7x's as I'm more of a 55 man so ill be asking questions!

Since changes to my employment situation were forced upon me in December, I have been belting around in my mechanics AE91 Levin. Its been quite a pleasant place to be, but two doors didn't really suit having a 5 month old bub. So when this very clean AE95 wagon popped up on carsales for not much money, complete with rego until August, I thought it might be worth a look. I'm new to Oz and old school Japanese motors, we don't get too many back home. Hay guys just picked up my new ke20. I didn't have the heart to cut up my wagon so I bought this. It's still a one owner car. It's pretty clean with 64000kms on the clock. Plans are either 13bt or sr20det. Still working out a few things but the aim of the build is a super clean street car. Hi all, Just hopped on cos I've picked up a 25 and wanted to sus the for sale for some bits and thought I'd share my panno (now wagon) with its new paint scheme. The rest is the same as it used to be when it was all white, I've just drawn up a 70s inspired "race" theme paint job, rubbed her down, repaired some dents, and spent a day masking and painting and then cleared over the lot. Then I had the sign writing hand painted on too - hope youse like it. I love it.
