The car is a 1970 KE11 2 door sedan. Bit of basket case when we got her, but it is slowly going back together. The plans are as follows: Engine: 4k, rebuilt, balanced, tighe 104 camshaft, twin aisan downdraught carburettors, elec dizzy, extractors, 2" straight through exhaust with 2" tip, between 10 and 11:1 compression ratio, lighter flywheel, not sure whether to go tosco 3.9kg or just machine the stock flywheel yet. Thermofan, probably a heavier alternator. polished aluminium bits. Gearbox/driveline: k40 out of ke55, standard ke11 borgwarner diff. Holes already cut in transmission tunnel, plans to neaten the mess up and make the ke55 box fit neatly as I have a f…

This will be a thread that won't move far at all - probably as far as whitewalls and thats it. But i felt i should put some pics up as it is quite a nice car and i want to get some photographs with some other ke20 adelaide boys. I've got my girlfriends ke20 for a few months now that she is in Europe. It's completely original except for the speakers and the cd player. She bought it from an old lady from memory and has owned it since. I cleaned it today and it came up quite nice. I have booked it in with Whitewalls SA today for next friday. I will put some more pictures up them! I am keen for some pictures of ke2X as i am buying a new came…

Well I have not been lurking here for a while, but I acquired a 1971 TE28/KE26 last year. It has a 4AGE swap with a T50 trans. Motor is a redtop 4AGE from a 1st generation MR2 and so is the complete wiring harness and ECU. The T50 trans is from a GTS AE86. The front suspension is also from an AE86 with T3 camber plates and Ground Control coilovers. I'm planning a future R&P swap from a Starlet KP61. The rear is stock and planning to match it to a GTS AE86 LSD complete rear. I'm trying to find a old 74-75 Corolla 10bolt rear, but they are rare as hell. I have 13x7 and 13x8 Enkei Apaches wrapped in Sumitomos with a lil' bit of tire strtching. The body is pretty much wha…

Big plans for this as a track car, but due to funds being limited and more work time than car time, its on hold. So right now, its a daily driver. I've imported it myself (which i'm never doing again) so it took a total of 4 and a half months to get to me and then another 2 to get it compliance myself. Vacuumed the interior and found 4 baby mice under the front passenger seat :hmm: the carpets smell like mouse piss :bash: , so i have to remove that and shampoo and disinfect it too. i bought two mouse traps and used peanut butter as bait hopefully i'll catch the critter soon. :) The next day I pulled the one of the door tumblers so I can have keys made as this car never came with keys. The car has an Immaculate "Grandma Spec" Cream Vinyl Interior with 45,000kms on the clock. The car appears to be RUST FREE all round (that we know of). It has a Mild 5K and a full set of ORIGINAL Hub Caps. Now come the pics of the Car from Josh's thread. Interior pics will come soon. Cheers Woz :y:
