ok, so on sunday 12th of september i went to ipswitch to pick put my ke30. had no rego or RWC so drove it back on a trade plate. endend up paying $1200 for it. was on dead empty so went to the servo, filled it for $45. drove it back to toowoomba using 1/4 of a tank. soon as we go back to toowoomba cops had a nice look :P got it home and stripped all the interior (door cards and all the little plactic parts)washed and got it ready for painting. black black black.:) sometime in the next week or two the car will be getting re-sprayed blue(a little darker then it is now) 3k. 4 speed manuel looking for a 5 speed but! and the origial rims and center caps. well …

After starting my own build for a drift car after it was defected it took me several months to get minimal work done to it, due to education commitments etc first thing i did was research some other builds of what needs to be done, pricing etc usual build stuff. Hi guys, Picked up this KE35 the other day. I'm new to Corolla's so learning as I go. I don't really have a clear direction for it yet, just hoping to improve it gradually over time. It's reasonably straight with the exception of some minor dings and scratches accumulated over the past 42 years and seems to be free of any serious rust. It's had a closed door respray at some point too, the original colour is similar but more of slightly darker grey. Running a standard 3k but has had a 5 speed conversion - not sure which type yet. first task will be a decent service I think, radiator is putrid and oil's not much better. Cheers, John.

yesterday i acquired a ke25, it is a 73 deluxe auto. it came as a rolling shell with no motor or box. the shell is pretty much rust free, with the only rust i've found being in the bottoms of the front guards and a bit on one side under the radiator support panel. the bottom of the doors and rear guards are excellent rustwise. needs a bit of panelbeating and a paintjob. the interior is pretty good. needs a hood liner, dashtop, and carpet. otherwise it is pretty overrated. anyway here's some pics:

Hey Thought I may aswell post my project as I've joined now. Basically I bought this car to learn about the mechanical side of things. Its my first car and I picked her up for $425. It was in good condition but not really atm. Plans - Warm 4k (Rebuild) :angrybird:, Whiteline sways, re-spray, Rt corona brake upgrade, stripped interior, rims, cut all rust out and NO BOG, lower at front, new rims/tyres, weight reduction :D, yeah the list goes on, but thats the notable stuff. thought i would start a topic on my 2 daily drivers and what i have been doing to them. not so much a project thread but more like an ongoing maintenance log type thing. i bought another 28/36 DCD weber on ebay last week. i got it yesterday, rebuilt it and now it is on the warm 5k in my ke15 to replace the worn out one that i was running. this carb came off a 1500GT Mk1 cortina. the last DCD was from a fiat 1500 cabriolet i think. anyway the thing runs better than it has for a long time. just running the factory 1500GT cortina jetting so far. it is amazing how much throttle spindle wear stuffs with the way your car runs. last week i changed the diff i…

:hmm: :o hey, this is my daily work hack. :hmm: was incredibly slow so i thought id wack a couple of mods on it. so far it has 2inch exhaust soon 2 1/2. ported head, big cam, heavier valve springs,extractors, 45mm side draugh webber. and a fireball ignition system. it went alright like that but still was poo.... :D so i started making a sc14 supercharger setup, that took about 4 weeks to do. its pulleyed up and it runs 15psi :hmm: :hmm: i have ironed out all the bugs and it absolutely flies now for a 4k. will do dyno run and post readings up on here. .well anyways here is the finished product. Just picked up this ke70 for cheap a few days ago, the motor in it is good runs really well but its a auto. the body has rust in the boot and around the fuel cap (its pretty bad). the interior is surprisingly clean Not really planning to go too nuts with this car, I'm just gonna lower it and paint it, and mabye some wheels. I bought it from Just Wrecking Toyotas on the cnr of South Tce and South Rd in Wingfield. The guy said it was lucky i called when i did because the car was about 10 minutes away from being completely wrecked, the guys had allready gone out and marked all the parts with a texta which i now have to clean off, lol.

Hi all, Thought you might be interested in my "new" TE37 Levin. I found it on the yahoo.jp auction site, and with the help of import monster (http://www.importmonster.com.au) purchased it. It arrived in my garage in Melbourne, Australia on May 4 2012. The good: It's super straight - very little rust, original shell, dash all there (re-covered binnacle) everything is clean and tight. The "bad": not really bad... just different... The head has been changed (to an EFI "big valve") but still with original carbies, suspension has been lowered, missing the air con compressor and evaporator, no carpet. Hi Everyone, was sent a link to the forum from a friend and thought i'd sign up, say hello and post up my ride. Below is where the car stands today..... it appears that the dyno operator backed off since there was a good 20km/h left in 4th and thoughts are it would have cracked 250kw (337HP) maybe 255kw (344HP) @ wheels but because this was in a dyno comp and that was my 2nd run i couldnt get any more runs :) oh well .... its only a figure .... lol i'll post up some pics on how the ride came together at a more sane time of the day. lol Short clip on the dyno - 1 min Full clip on the dyno - 4 min

Hey thought I'd start a thread for my newest Rolla which I picked up a few weeks ago off a young chick around the corner from mine. Basically its a 1983 AE71 CS Corolla auto. I am the third owner and it has done 187,000km. Bronze in colour, with gold pinstripes. Really good paint, some of it has been resprayed in the past. Pretty straight body, small dent in bonnet just with the usual rust in the rear. Interior is overrated condition tan vinyl/wool, pretty comfy and the seats are alot more supportive than the KE20 and KE30 seats I'm used to. Of course being and AE71 it has the 4AC 1.6-litre which has alot more poke than a K engine, and the auto just makes it p…

soo i purchased this corolla for $600 minimal rust and NEWW extractors to a 2" exhaust! had all new water pump and other shit can't remember :lmao: woo just purchased a 5k for $160 for the bare block+head!! just need to grab some more shit to get her goin. A few weeks ago i made a judgement error and put my car into a gutter pushing the crossmember back and bending the chassis rail where it bolts up. So its time to start over. So i may have bought yet another Corolla for the collection.. This makes 3 Ke1x chassis i own now, With a possible 4th and 5th in my sights also So basically, What we have here is a mostly original Ke17 Sprinter. Car hasn't been on the road since 1994 and it's sat outside ever since.. It's currently a rolling shell but it does come a 4k and a k50 Basic run down is it's quite straight, mostly rust free and very complete.
