Hello boys and girls. As most of you have seen this section is getting very untidy, I for one am getting a little tired of going through page after page of unrelated topic crap. :( I know we all like a chat, but as it has been said before maybe MSN could be used for the chats, If you want we could make a thread with MSN addresses for those of you that want to chat. MSN can also have groups, maybe put all you rolla club friends in there and then you can have a group chat. Example of this is the Launie toyota meeting thread, This thread would be used for meeting times, Dates and pictures of the meetings and related topic information. But if we read the last page, …

As per the Rollaclub rules: So...Please don't post any more for sale items in the region forums. Tasmania is BY FAR the worst offender. I understand that some of you can't/wont/don't freight items, and theres no problems with this, but please keep it in the for sale forums.

G'day, Just made this topic for finding parts locally. Has anyone got a fender (side guard) on the passenger side for a KE30 2dr? Mine has rusted out down the bottom, it was too late when I noticed it because the rust was eating it away from the back. When I took it off the bolts snapped off; I'll have to borer them out. Been looking for one for a while around Hobart, but most wreckers don't have any corollas before 1980, and if they did they had rust and dents in them anyway. Looking for K50 gearbox for a 4K motor. Wreckers are asking over $200 for one. Also I'm looking for interior parts like side kick panels, instrument panel etc. Bruce

Hey guys this is a very long shot I know but it's always worth a try.. I'm trying to hunt down my old ke30 as I would like to buy it back, I sold it back in 2010 to a bloke from Ulverstone and I havn't seen or heard about it since, was originally auto but I converted it to 4k 4spd Now I've done a rego check on it and the rego was lapsed in 2011, I'm hoping it's just sitting around in a paddock somewhere and didn't get smashed up :( if anyone knows of its whereabouts or knows any info can you please pm me! Thanks in advance, brad

Spotted this while I was down Hobart last weekend with the other half, who else has see this thing about? It made me look twice, didn't even notice it was a KE70 ute at first glance, its pretty rough though. (not to mention the hideous colours) And its a shame I didn't get to warn you southern members as I would of liked to of seen a few of your cars! Though I did pass a bloody nice looking KE15 on the way down from Mt. Wellington.

Ok So the last cruise was a good turnout. Who is interested in a another one in April? needs to be a tarmac only cruise, that last one over the rocks and shit made my insides hurt :y: Not sure on where, but id really love to drive through the sidling, head out to Scottsdale and then back somewhere. Stop at a few places along the way. have a drink, rest, food and some pics. I'm available most weekends, so a 10.30 meet, 11am leave sounds good to me. same as last one. Any input will be awesome :no2:

Hey Guys, Bout time I put something up about this and got the ball rolling. As a few of you now know, Ben (Toy-Yoda) and I have been discussing doing a bit of a "cruise", but with a very different twist!! It has been illuded to a couple of times as the "how far will your old rolla make it cruise". The general out line for what I think would make a good first* outting is as follows: All vehicles are welcome, rollas or not, HOWEVER....This is not a cruise for neat street/show car, but for those who have a second 'lesser value' car or beater. My NA car is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. We're not going to tell you weather your car can come or n…

The MSCT is holding a motorkhana at Symmons Plains in the pits this Sunday, having done a few myself I've gotta say they're a shetload of fun. Would really like to see some more Corollas out there this time, I'll be out there having a go (even though I will no doubt be extremely hung over from the night before hahaha) So, who's keen and who is going to be weak?!

Hey guys, Jip is making up a 2009 Rollaclub calender which will feature a different area per month/page, so we need to provide him with some pics for the Tassie page. I can organise a professional photographer who's a mate (Adam Sutton), and will wear any cost he may charge us. Deadline for getting the pics to Jip is the 25th of Nov, so we really need to get a wriggle on about it. Everybody is going to be off doing something this LONG WEEKEND, so we'll count that out. But I think we should really get it done the following weekend - Fri 7th until Sunday 9th. I'm easy for any day (will need to check when Adam is available), but if people can let me know when is bes…

Some twat broke into Tofu last night........ :S Fuxed the lock on the drivers side, but besides that, no damage....... The rat(s) took about $3 in silver shrapnel and a pack of ciggarettes that was 6 weeks old and had about 5 left in the pack....... They left 2 pairs of sunnies, and a pile of tools I had on the back seat, so I'm guessing it was kids....... I'm not fussed about what was taken, doesn't bother me, it's the fact that I've had this car on the road for 2 weeks since the conversion, and now I have to replace the locks because some cheap f@$k wanted some smokes........ :) It just pisses me off that some people (if you can call them that) feel they …

Ok, so after having a chat with Mr. dF about this thread we've come to the conclusion that a dinner meet for Launceston RC at the Jailhouse Grill would be ideal. Saturday 16th Oct, not 100% sure on time yet, will confirm closer to the date. Menu is here so you can see food and pricing. By all means bring the other (better?) half, so the females can chat amongst themselves while we sit about drinking beers and talking shit. I will be making the final and firm booking about 2 weeks in advance (~2/10/10), so I will need to know exact numbers by then as I'll be booking multiple tables. So, who's keen? Let me know as soon as you can, k? Yoda.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone is going down this sunday 14th for the annual Shannon's Car and Bike Show held at Charles Hand Memorial Park in Rosny. I have my KE55 sedan entered in the modified section, so looks like I'll be giving it a good polish this saturday. :y: It's claimed to be the biggest car show I'm Tassie, as there is meant to be over 400 entries. :no2: I have been a number of times now, and it's a really great day, and you get to see a lot of other cars not seen when attending the northern shows. Anyway if anyone is attending or showing their pride and joy then let us know and I'll look out for you. They showcase cars each year…

Just put the old Corolla Levin on the dyno for a quick run after work. 80kw at the wheels. I didn't make any changes, just run it as is. 2T-G 3T block - crank - pistons ~305 degree cams, stock cam timing about 110 degrees I recon I could tweek it to 90kw easy if I had the time.

Gday all. I have just converted my '73 ke20 to twin downdraught webers. Originally I was running a single downdraught weber, but have longed for a twin carby setup, so I purchased a twin carb manifold from cameron with the yellow the ke70 panelvan. :P So all I had to do was, buy another brand new weber and there you go I have two now. So I will have something to show you all at our next Rolla meet. :) Seeyou all soon. :y: :) :) :) :) :)

Well isn't there quite a Corolla tuning scene in Tassie!! Crazy... I've owned no less than 6 KE3Xs over the past 8 years (and a KE15 sprinter), all starting out with my one-owner '75 2dr sedan. She's had a long life, and needs some serious love (I learnt to drive in the old beast), but I still have her!! Beautiful old car!! I also had a KE36 van with a worked 3t-c which was an evil beast, and have a stripped out one-owner KE30 which was gonna be a rallycar, but I'm not building it anymore (anyone want a straight, complete shell??). Ive also had several wrecks for bits and pieces, and have shit loads of parts... I recently acquired another KE36, and am t…
