This is my ke30 project/daily i bought a few months ago. I'm hoping that this build will span over the remainder of my apprenticeship to keep me out of trouble. She wasn't in the best shape, engine was dying, diff was stuffed, so on and so forth. My plan is to fix her up and make her look good. Not to fussed about going fast.. I have already put a 4k head on, ke70 diff(due to the old diff seizing up after i welded it..), and 5" lowering blocks(I think it is sitting a bit too low). hi guys, bought myself a fairly tidy ke20 with a t50 4age conversion. has rust in the usual places but nothing too serious running stock brakes and diff. have decided that i want the project to be a little more ballzy than the 4age so am going to put a ca18det in instead, due to the stronger gearbox, easy power upgrades and cost and ease of finding parts. have the car stripped right back at the moment doing bodywork ready for a respray. will be converting to ae86 coilovers in the front with and a shortened r31 diff up back. going to keep the interior as stock as possible .

Well, some of you may know this ol girl well, couldnt help myself when i seen it such a tidy car!, Will be getting full factory respray soon and left just like it is, maybe some venetians and sunvisor etc but staying full GRANNYSPEC! such a fun car to drive getting lots of interesting looks on the monash fwy on my , way to work. Thoughts on dropping my 2tg twin sideys and five speed into it for a bit more poke standard 12r is not real happy at 65 mph with the four speed, has anyone put a t series in one, can't imagine it would be too involved? cheers feral.

hey ppls, we have recently purchased a 71 ke20, ive never had a corolla before, a few ra28's have been my only Toyota's, but this 1 came up for sale at a "reasonable" price and I couldn't help myself. as you can see from the pics, the engine bay and interior are pretty neat, the passenger seat will be restitched, but I think the cracks in the dash will be staying as can't afford a new 1, carpet in the front is a littlee worn but some new mats will fix that problem, maybe a new front carpet kit might be on the list depending on the cost, I want the car as neat and original as possible, even the original radio works a treat!! my plans are to respray it, new front shocks, …

New to this site, have purchased, finally found a descent ke20. Have always been on the hunt for the one. Found it 80,000 original k's everything on it priginal apart from the wheels. Am going to keep it standard, with a few possibilities. I have a 5 speed box to go in, and have put discs up front, and most likely lower it.

Hello everyone. Just invested in a new daily while I take the ae71 off the road. Its an ebay special, 90,000klm RA60 ST 2.4l 22RE Auto. It has air con and seems to be in immaculate condition. The auction has just ended and I'm anxiously waiting for the seller to contact me. I can't wait to go and look at it for the first time. I'm planning only a manual conversion and a full service for it. If the tyres are good I'm not going to change the wheels, Ill just have it buffed and tidied up and maybe headers and that's where the mods will end. Just bought this bad boy for $500 got some big dreams, keep it sleeper, not sure to do an 8 or turbo conversion yet, any suggestions? Going to paint a nice pastel yellow keep the brown and cream interior and nothing to crazy just straight and clean. A lot of $$ and time about to be spent on this.

Hi Guys and Girls, Just thought I would share some pics of my new ol school ride I bought last week from a guy here Reed, nice guy. He was pretty emotional about selling the car. And I know why.....I love it!!! Future plans are to upgrade engine to possibly 4AGE 20V, new wheels (14 inch), full respray and suspension upgrade. Funny isnt it how you get rid of one project,say thats the end of it for the moment and then you suddenly have another one about to enter the driveway,almost! Afraid there are no pics yet but went to visit an uncle last week and what does he have sitting in his paddock (literally) but what I believe is a KE26 2 door van,only disappointing thing really is that windows have been added to the side van panels and the fact that they are rusting around the panel edges. Just picked up this one on Friday, the ol' girl had to come all the way from Queensland, but the price was right so it was worth it. It's an old 1980 liftback corona, rt132 model, always been a fan of these lifbacks. This ones got a vinyl top too :y: It's had a supercharged 1g-gze from a imported Chaser Advante front cut, 5 speed box from a ra60 Celica, power steering rack from... (can't remember right now but will update) and it goes hard! Engine bay needs a good clean up, and body could do with a full detail.

I bought this beautiful nanna spec rt142 corona a few weeks back. Never had much to do to with coronas, but with the 22re fuel injected engine and factory 5 speed I just couldn't say no My plans are... find the best way to get decent steering lock and fit coilovers, some decent 15 or 16 inch rims and moar low but to keep somewhat of a nanna spec appeal. If anyone has any tips or advice would be muchly appreciated

hello peeps this is my ke36 wagon, so far all i have done is strip the whole interior the carpet stunk not to mention all the ants and spiders, ive gutted all the runnung gear and have a 12a :rocknroll: ready to drop in!!!

Here is my celica i have had for a few years and have had a few engine combos. she was a clean two owner before i got her now i guess she is a dirty three owner. i have currently put the 2tg back in and am fabricating some throttle bodies which are 95% done then do some wiring etc etc.

Also, moving into a new place with a personal workshop which means I can take the whip off the road and give it some major lovin' The body is pretty clean, but the interior and everything else definitely needs work. The boot is leaking a bit of water, motor is leaking oil from the rocker cover and then some. The whole motor and suspension is a hackjob done by what had to be a blindfolded monkey. Hello, I'm new to this. I have a 1989 1.3 GL Corolla, I am doing a 1600 twincam engine conversion and stripping the car down fully and getting a full car respray. I am buying another car for the conversion , hopefully get one cheap thats been hit or the body work is bad in 400 - 600. If anyone knows of any let me know. I'm the second owner of the corolla, the first was an elderly lady who'd had it since new. Was owned by an older woman for the most part, rebuilt by her husband 10 years ago. It then went to some teen for a year and now it's here. I've had this little seca for something like 18 months, It gets the daily duties while the wagon and the torana hang out at home. wagon: Torana I've had/built 4 or 5 AE92/3s in the past 6 years, so when I needed a cheap car to leave at the station and drive the freeway in, decison was pretty easy. I started off buying a white slanty 4age ke70 from SA, left Melton at 5:30am, drove to the other side of adelaide and then drove this corolla back with no heater & a locked r/h/f strut for 7 hours at 4,200rpm.
