Hey all. Just purchased a 1991 ae92 in amazing condition, 120 xxx km's, efi. Picked it up for 1k. I previously owned a 94 seca but sadly got rid of it due to work and lifestyle. The first things I will be getting done in this project is sorting suspension and getting some new shoes.

Hey guys I'm back for another build After just finishing the purple ke70 http://www.rollaclub...-83-ke70-build/ which was supposed to be my first car, i realised i went over bored haha, its now turned into a show car/weekend cruiser because i don't want to wreck it as its been doing well in the shows. It makes me nervous to even leave it on the side of the road now haha so i decided i needed to get a daily driver. I first though that i would get a ute or something until dads mate told him he found a ae71 at this old blokes house he did a job for, told him he wanted to get rid of it, had just been sitting there for two years straight not being driven and out of reg…

This is my ke30 project/daily i bought a few months ago. I'm hoping that this build will span over the remainder of my apprenticeship to keep me out of trouble. She wasn't in the best shape, engine was dying, diff was stuffed, so on and so forth. My plan is to fix her up and make her look good. Not to fussed about going fast.. I have already put a 4k head on, ke70 diff(due to the old diff seizing up after i welded it..), and 5" lowering blocks(I think it is sitting a bit too low). What I want Worked 5k, 5 speed Box SR20DET SR or RB box rust cut out, dents knocked out, especially the big ass ding on the roof fresh paint super lightss? r33 brakes? bec…

This got started after seeing a Crown ute wanted when checking the wanted to buy section a few weeks ago. I was on Gumtree browsing and typed in "toyota Crown Ute" and 1 came up in all of Oz. It was in Inverell NSW and I was in Caloundra QLD so after a few phone calls and Douggy agreeing on a road trip off we went in a borrowed Landcruiser with trailer. Since the ute was still regoed in NSW I drove from Inverell to Glen Innes then Douggy drove north and just kept going, stopping at Warwick for food n sleep. We got back here early on the Sunday and then got to check out the ute a bit. Being NSW regoed meant it had been sort of inspected every year but it certainly wasnt…

so this is my newly aquired ke70 four speed manual 4k-c engined shitbox. i say rolling relic because besides the rust repairs it needs which involves the two spaces above the taillights and a small patch in the roof. when thats fixed and ground down and undercoated. the paint will be left the same, the spotlights will remain. the interior is staying as it is. it will eventually have a worked 4k and hopefully go sideways on demand but i don't want to roll the guards or anything i just want to keep the old school patina and slam it on some black widened stockies. oh and theres abit of rust in the fuel filler cap but an easy fix. the wheel arches seem to b…

In May this year we were lucky to travel to Japan with 2 other couples from the Classic Japanese Car Club. The highlight of our trip was a visit to the Japanese National Museum where there were 2 corollas , a 69 KE10 coupe which was a 4 speed column shift and a LHD sprinter. Moving on to the Toyota Museum , in the Japanese section, was a 67 KE10 and a red KE15 sprinter. These cars were brand new and after a little talk to the curator, he allowed me to lift the bonnet of the sprinter.I will never forget the thrill of seeing these cars Cheers Lou

I took these photos on the streets of Thailand in 2011 with the intent to post em on Rollaclub. This station wagon was sitting 10 metres from the Thai/Burmese border so I couldn't get any more photo's. Military dudes with guns kinda freaked me out. Never seen one of these before and wouldnt know what model it is. KE70 with a differant front end? Shame I could photograph the back end. I'm not a fan of Datto's but this one was pretty cool looking. Was in very good condition inside and out . Photo didnt do it justice with all the shit that had fallen on it fallen from the tree it was sitting under. …

So I have a few Corolla projects at the moment: KE36 KE55 But this is about the KE38 that I've decided to build for one of my younger brothers, who is learning to drive. This is basically what I started with. I had removed some front end pieces, the grill had been broken, there is a little rust around the usual places, it only had a block sitting in the engine bay, but overall it looked too good to scrap, and worthy of being restored. Engine bay to begin with Engine remainder and 4 speed removed After a quick brush down Ever get the feeling you're being watched? No point respraying the entire car without doing the …

Hello, This a rare model in France and maybe in some others countries in Europe or worldwide. My ride was first bought in Swiss in 1977 by a lady who live there in Valais county. Then she moved to south of France area in 1980. The car is powered by the 3kh engine, manual stick with 4 speed. It's full option (vinyl roof, alloy rims for example) and was not sold in France with those equipment, even if the appellation the same, some details are not. I found it on Le Bon Coin website (Craig list like for France) and was sold € 2000,00 ( US $ 1700,00 approx.) I came from Paris to south by train and drive back home on 1st December 2012. Weather was windy in south area an…

Time has come to create a thread on my baby, affectionately known as "Project Celica". Figured I better show I still have a Toyota in the garage since I will be still floating around rollaclub! I will try and distill the thread from toymods that I have been running on it since July 2007 into something that will make sense here. Hopefully its not too much of a mishmash! I acquired this couple of owner silver ra23 from a fellow Toymodder back in October 2005 in Sydney Australia. After a good service I drove her home the 1000km to Melbourne - the alternator failed in the last 100km and we only just made it in to the drive way, but we did make it. I bought her to …

Howdy folks... Well, it's been a while since I posted last, but this should make up for it... Presenting, my new acquisition... (the one on the right) Story: My Mate noticed this by the side of the road in Eltham a couple of days ago. Went up to have a look, had a drive, made the bloke an offer, and presto...I am now a RWD convert.... The good: 5k, 5 speed No bog All exterior fixtures complete minus 1 ke55 headlight bucket... The bad: Brakes...well...there's almost nothing... Rust - 3 areas of interest: a 5c spot on the drivers door, a small bit on the drivers door sill, and a little along the back of the tailgate seal - b…

Hey all, Just joined up and thought I'd share my first car (and project, for that matter :P ) She's an '82 flat front wagon, bright yellow with a terrible black hood (last owner did it, there's remains of a giant CAT sticker to...), came on stock wheels but swapped them for some cheap Meshies as soon as the car was home. I know little about the history of the car or how the SR ended up in it but it's all good and runs sweet, gave it a change of fluids and it purs like a kitten. Stupidly quick for what it is but the welded diff makes people look at me funny when I'm in car parks.. haha. Anyway here's a few pics, check back now and then for updates I have plans t…

A friend and I went for a look at a guys farm today who had 90+ cars laying in a paddock, we went armed with cash and a car trailor intending on bringing my mate home a valiant, instead I got this. The wheels were on a liteace van nearby (unfortunately the liteace only had a 4k or I would have bought that home too...) Guy wanted $300 for the car with stock wheels, but ended up shakinghands on $250 with the mags that had brand new tyres and we were on our way. When we were looking at it I am looking and thinking "parts car", but it has a lot going for it, apart from a cracked dash the seats are great, door cards overrated, minimal rust in all the usual places, …

Not posting to show off, but posting to share. Recently had the great opportunity to purchase this car with less than 22k original miles. Still has the 1975 registration year decal on the plate, which I've since moved and covered in the front, to allow me to place the new registration decal on the rear plate. Also, comes with original tools, tool pouch, jack, jack tools, and best of all...the owner's manual! LOL Comes stock as stock can be, down to the original unblemished hubcaps. All opinions are welcomed, but please be kind and keep any hate/negative comments to a minimal. Thank you! Now on to the pics.....and my apologies if they come out too big. I'm an old guy who'…

Thought it was about time to put up a Rides post about my current ke15.I started rebuilding it in 2008 .I first got the shell as a spare parts car for the ke15 I had at the time. I never planned on rebuilding it, as it was not that great a shell .It was only ever going to be a parts car for panels etc should something unthinkable happen to my good one. Well the unthinkable happened one night while I was out my house was broken into & my ke15 was used as the getaway car .Latter to be found as a burn out shell in the local pine forest .A few years passed till I finally got the bug again to drive a ke15 .So I decided to rebuild the old shell I had sitting there for part…

Hey guys, after having had my L's for a while and decided to start a project of my own with some help from my Dad. After watching dad do up his cars over the years i learnt a few things along the way and decided to have a crack myself. After looking around for a car i came across Corolla ke70's and fell in love with the way they look when they are given some love and attention. So i looked around for ages trying to find one but no luck. After putting a add in the paper i found one in really good condition with a nice straight body, a fare few dents but very streight. It had a cooked engine but come with spares to rebuild it. I ended up paying a grand for the lot in the en…

Hey guys, Here is my latest purchase! A 1987 Toyota AW11 SC with an SC14 fitted. I picked it up for the bargain price of $1,500 because the previous owner was desperate to get rid of it for some more shed space! I had been looking for another fun car to use for hills work and weekend motorsport for sometime. The idea was to get something that was almost ready to go and required very little work, as I still want to keep modding the KE20. Like every other young drift-boy in Melbourne I had been looking at R32s and 180s, but it became increasingly hard to find one that had not been thrashed or was a little dodgy! Also both of these cars were really not me.. After r…
