So i finally got me a corolla after months of looking, picked this up a few weeks ago now. Needed a daily as my other car - xr6t ute is not ideal for driving everyday anymore as it drinks the fuel and ill be taking it of pump fuel very shortly in hope of a 10sec pass :). i'll attach a pic but enough of that back onto the rolla lol. i wanted something small and rwd did a bit of research and found old corolla's were the easiest to find for a cheaper $ and more realiable. loved the shape of ke70's so went hunting, looked at a lot of shitters but found a nice yellow one after abit over a month of looking but the ute needed new valve springs so it took priority and by the time…

I thought it was about time I posted SOMETHING about my cars on here. I have a 1977 4 door KE30, a 1974 (?) 2 door KE30, and another 4 door KE30 for parts, I think from memory it's a '77, plus I have a stock pile of 4k engine parts and interior parts which I will be putting on here after I have what I need for my builds. The original plan was for the yellow 4 door to be my project car as I had one years ago with a 2TG conversion which I stupidly sold, and needed something to fill my void! I bought this beautiful nanna spec rt142 corona a few weeks back. Never had much to do to with coronas, but with the 22re fuel injected engine and factory 5 speed I just couldn't say no My plans are... find the best way to get decent steering lock and fit coilovers, some decent 15 or 16 inch rims and moar low but to keep somewhat of a nanna spec appeal. If anyone has any tips or advice would be muchly appreciated

Hi guys and gals, I would like to introduce you to Betsy, a 1975 KE30 4 door with no working engine. I purchased her on the 15.08.13. She looked rather straight and upon inspection I could not find any significant rust spots so I organised for the sellers dad (a tow truck driver) to drop her off at my door and handed over the money. I will be updating this post as often as I can, but unfortunately I have a new house and a lot of other jobs to deal with so just gotta remember "SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE" (but I just want her done NOW). Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of guidance more than anything from some of you that have been there and done it all in the Corolla scene. I'm new to Oz and old school Japanese motors, we don't get too many back home. I've set my sights on a Corolla from Circa 75-80 but don't know too much about what I should be looking for in terms of the usual mechanical issues and rust spots etc....any help here would be great. I've spent most of my free time modifying my 4WDs the last couple of years but I decided it was time for a new project, a Khanacross Corolla. The goal is to just have something to work on and have some fun at the local rally club, plus it seems like Khanacross is a good entry point to get into motorsport. Hi guys, from sydney australia I have recently purchised a 1977 ke35 Coupe, all original except sound system. I am working on it in my spare time getting it ready for me to drive. When I was 17, I bought this as my first car. Paid $600 for it from a mate, spent alot of time and money getting her roadworthy and it was my daily for just over a year until I snapped a valve spring. I replaced the offending spring, but in the process, I discovered that the entire engine is full of crap. No idea how it was still running. It lasted a couple weeks after that until I snapped another spring. Couldn't find a full set of springs at any wreckers so I gave up and parked her in a shed. hey guys here is my thread for my new car. picked up this ae93 sx seca last week as a replacement for the ae82. its fairly standard with the only mods being extractors, 2" exhaust, low king springs and tinted windows. also has a decent headunit and better speakers inside. don't really have any plans for it other than wheels and a front lip but lets see how long that lasts haha. here are a few bad pics of it.

On the weekend, I was best man in my mates wedding! He also asked if he could use FROG 55 as one of the wedding cars! So I managed to convince myself that my g/f was trustworthy enough to drive my baby, and so we spent a few hours cleaning and polishing FROG! The day of the wedding, we attached the car ribbon, and put that white stuff in the back! The wedding was at Bethlehem Church in the City, and the reception was at the Adelaide International Hotel on Anzac Highway! Here it is my 92 holden nova GS with the unusual 7afe 1.8 engine. i bought it about 8 or 9 months ago of my workshop controller who used to work at a toyota dealership, who told me that the car had been in his familly since it had 50000 kms on it(it now has 287000km) and i reckon with new valve stem seals the engine could do an other 200000km no problems. the rear window is coming off at the bottom, which is annoying as i have to drain thye water out of the boot every time it rains :glare: . The clutch i was told has never been replaced ever! :o and still feels great, which i think is pretty impressive :y: the paint on the roof is fading and could do with a respra…

Hey guys and gals so it seems i have found myself another rolla :) its a 1979 ke55 cs sedan which has been sitting in a hay shed for the last 12-18 months as the owners had no use for it. Its a 4 speed manual and stock as a rock right down to the factory philips tape deck, owners manuals and service manuals, even the original number plates from 1979 :) plans are pretty much tidy it up and keep it as a daily driver so far. The head is away getting machined at rhe moment as it had a blown head gasket, but here are a few photos as it was when i picked it up

My new barn find, the humpback. My brother mentioned a while back he'd be interested in the 'rolla thing. He'd saved up some money, so I said I'd keep my eyes peeled. That's where the trouble began. I was surfing all the usual car sites and I found the fidy. It's a little tired, drives well two owner machine. It's had a g'box rebuild, callipers, starter and alternator done. My brother is now buying my '35 Plans are to employ some of uncle shadies patented crap remover, fix up the little bits of rust,cut and polish, regas the a/c, get it regoed and then start messing with it. I think , maybe lower with my wagon rims widened and whitewalls. I love UGLY!

Hay guys just got my new 26 wagon. It's a one owner log book car with a genuine 37000kms on the clock. It's completely standard with near perfect paint and interior. The only two things the old fella changed were the hub caps and steering wheel (wich are genuine Celica) I will be parting with these if anyone is interested. Plans for the wagon are to leave the paint and interior as is. I was going to do a rotary but we already have one of these going around so I will be building a fj20 with a manual for it. Hey everyone Well this is crazy but i have just added a new member to the fam and to the corollas at out place :P I just got a Ke55 4 door, Has a 4k that was rebuilt not long ago but has been sitting undriven for a long time, a 5 speed stock borg diff i guess :P The inside has been set up for racing so gutted and that and some places to put a harness, the seats are out of a nissan gazelle and are nice and comfy for racing ;) The suspension has been set up for racing so wont have to do anything besides replace bushes and that when needed The body is in decent condition but needs a coat of paint The plans are simple give it a coat of paint and maybe a diff…

Hey all, Long time no post, but I'm back in a rolla after about 2 years on the dark-side. I recently purchased a KE70 as a slow project for myself and brother / weekend car for myself. Breakdown: 1984 slant front Toyota White recent home spray job ( Pretty good job) 5 speed 300k's sloppy diff Shot carby interior not in the best shape Not drivable in current condition Reasonable price The Plan: Fix it up nice and cleanly. Some nice wheels, Suspension and brakes. RWC then Rego! Not keen on going way over the top like my last rolla. I know next to nothing about the xE7x's as I'm more of a 55 man so ill be asking questions!

so, this is my new project that I'm picking up this weekend, as you can see its not the prettiest thing around. it has alot of rust, i mean A LOT! still havent seen it in person but who is gonna complain when its this cheap... it has a 4ac in it at the moment and no gearbox or interior, hopefully be able to build it into something fun, and not spend too much money! sorry about the shitty pic, its all i have got that shows the good side...

Bought this about 2 months ago, gave wash and wax today. Took some photos thought i will share them with you guys. It was a 1 owner, 180,000 kms on the clock no rust,drives so tight. I think its a nice find. And a couple of pics of my ke20.

Hey guys picked this up a few months back was in some guys back yard for about 4-5 yrs haha didn't have keys when I bought it, had a 3t an t50 the 3t was absolutely f@#ked, got it home ripped the motor out rebuilt it an still didn't like it so out she came clean/painted the engine bay and converted it from box steering to rack an pinion, an installed ae71 running gear but auto for now :(

Hey there just about finished me ke55 project, it got a 400 chev with a tunnel ram and twin carbs, gearbox is a 3 speed t400, also a 9in diff billet axels, 4 link rear end, rear end is tubbed fitting the 17x12.5 fr Simmons with 315 tyre's, it has full 6 point roll cage sheet metal seats and sheet metal dash with autometer gauges and carbon fiber b&m shifter, porshe 4 spot front brakes and xf falcon rear, it got a complete ke30 front and ke 30 taillights and rear bar I think they are a better shape, car is in for paint now will put picks up soon, only have build shots at the moment, can't wait to drive it

Some of you may remember me, I spent a lot of time here when i was in my mid-teens. It's been a couple of years since I've had a Corolla, but since then I've branched out into bigger and better things. In particular an RT72 Corona, which is being handed down to me by my dad's uncle. So I got this little Ke16 from perth earlier this year, and have been meaning to get a progress report on the go Soooooo I flew over to perth and did a deal on a car I had never seen before ( I didnt even know Ke16s existed :hmm:), put it on a truck and flew home, 2 weeks later it arrived at the depot (70kays from me) so I figured it would be easy, get a mate to drive me up there, get in car, drive car home.....
