Hi all, I have been lurking around most of the Toyota Corolla forums for a while now, just reading what is out there before deciding to become a member. I have put together a few tuff cars in the past but I have never posted any of the builds on the net, but I would like to share with the members on Rollaclub the build of my little Corolla. The build I would like to share is of my 1 owner KE35, I have been looking to find a good one for the past 2 years. The KE35 I picked up was owned by a little old lady that had all of the log books and had a full service history from the day she bought it from the Toyota dealer. Make ~ Toyota Model ~ Corolla KE35 Year ~…

Well you might be felling sorry for the fox although the stupid fox ran out in front of the corolla. The corolla did try to slow down although there was no time. Result Check Out the pictures Below.

I own a factory built corolla Sportivo 2001, there were only 110 made and it is said that only 100 made it here to Australia. I own number 69/110. My knowledge and skills around cars is about 90% as I still learn something everyday. I decided to join this forum as I am going to rebuild my engine and may need some advise form the experts. I have uploaded a few images when I first bought 'The Whore'.

Hi Guys, So i have been posting lots of random questions and i thought i would just start a build thread so i have a central place to find info and share the build. Thanks to Altezza and a few others who have been super helpful so far. I found a 67 rolling shell which had been sprayed and was relatively rust free on fleabay and it had been sitting in this guys shed for 7 years since the work was done. He had cut out the dash and widened the tunnel to take a sr20 and then run out of cash. Plans are just to get it back on the road and then start getting things together to start from scratch (want it to be Matt black rather than purple) So anyway since i have…

Hey guys, thought id share with you a project I've been working on for the past 3 years. It all started when i turned 14. All i focused on at that point was that i could get my driving license in less than one year. So at the time my old man thought it'd be a good idea for me to get my first car and do it up a little in time to get my learners. And also get to know further about cars etc. So i hoped on trade me and started my quest for my first car. I looked at multiple options as my first car starting at honda civic's (yes i know, wtf was i thinking???) right through to Subaru impreza's. After not having much luck in finding a cheapy, as only having an after school job…

hey, whats happenin folks ^_^. well, most of my write-ups with my project is on my other site. I'm just posting my old progress and sharing with you guys here. My TA22 was purchased in japan around august of 2006 and it arrived here in the U.S. december of 2006. i don't know weather i am the 2nd or 3rd owner of this ta22. the first owner was a old japanese guy and handed it over to his son, and his son sold it to me. My wife and I picked her up in Seattle, Wa and drove her home to San Francisco, Ca. The name Naomi for my TA22 was created by the majority of votes from the celica folks in classic-celica community. My Naomi is a TA22 S49 model type, so she has a rar…

I am constantly on rollaclub checking out other peoples ke corolla's and so thought I might throw a few pictures of my old girl up. At the moment it has the mantle of the oldest known street registered corolla in the country, the VIN is ke10 182969 I bought the car 5 years ago, it was an ex rally car from Tassie that had been driven pretty hard. It already had the 5k in it with an updated cam and extractors, it is running a celica 5 speed gearbox. It also had a Ke70 brake upgrade What I have done so far: After driving it home to the annoying sound of the worlds winiest diff I set about finding another one and ended up picking up a LSD for it off a Ke10…

I am mega excited to be posting about my latest acquisition, a 1967 MS47 Crown wagon. There had been much discussion on the forums and at club meetings about this nice old Crown wagon at Centre Rd Wreckers that needed saving. I didn't think much of it, assuming it was a rusty bugger or in dire straits, if it had made it to the wreckers. Then on a sunny Thursday afternoon, with a does of the CBF's at work, I decided to go for a wander around the wreckers yard to see what was new. It was then I came upon this beauty. It was straight, almost completely rust free, and just too good to be sitting in the wreckers slowly getting pulled apart. I had to have it, especially…

For those of you that don't know me personally I not so long ago picked up a cheap ae92 (or Holden nova) as a daily for my partner but after some discussion we decided that we would wait to get something abit newer so after trying to sell it with no luck and my ke70 track car being nowhere near completed I decided to turn it into a budget circuit racer to keep me amused till my ke70 was done and then pass it on to my partner to get her out on the track.. It was quite sad and run down with 300,000+ kms on the clock filthy interior stocko 13" steelies and more water leaks than a sivve.. So after replacing the water pump, welch plugs, hoses and a badly corroded thermostat ho…

Hey all Many of you already know me from my previous Ghetto Sled Ke70 and everything inbetween. I'm happy I'm back in a ke70 corolla and always told myself I would only come back in a wagon/van, well this weekend I finally found a decent one to restore with minimal rust as it was a car from inland. Reason for buying this as I want a cool project for summer (get me away from gta5) and my E30 chews fuel going from work and back . Style I'm going for is the old school 80's but with some touring car features as I will be doing 2-3 hour trips to race my kart around W.A. Things I'm chasing -Quads light and grill -Work Equips Mk1 -Chrome F…

Hi all, Just hopped on cos I've picked up a 25 and wanted to sus the for sale for some bits and thought I'd share my panno (now wagon) with its new paint scheme. The rest is the same as it used to be when it was all white, I've just drawn up a 70s inspired "race" theme paint job, rubbed her down, repaired some dents, and spent a day masking and painting and then cleared over the lot. Then I had the sign writing hand painted on too - hope youse like it. I love it.

hey guys been a very long time since i've been on here, quite possibly about 3 years i would say, over the time i have got myself another ride, picked up an 88 st162 celica with a bung engine, to make things more simple for me I'm going to coppy and paste from another forum. Once apon a time i bought a 162 celica for $850 Aus and knowing the history of this car i knew what was ahead, after getting it towed home and a couple of days latter when i had the time i hooked straight into getting the monstrosity apart (First fwd motor i've ever worked one) getting it out was the hard part  plenty of punching things (not the car), anyway got the motor out and i stripped…

I've decided to make a build thread for my corolla and introduce myself now that it is finally getting rego 2 months after its purchase. My name is Luke, I'm starting uni at UTS studying mechanical and this is my Ke70 and our story. I bought the Ke before i sold my 2002 Mazda 323 and after the first week and only week of driving it i wasn't sure whether to keep it. Moving from having a newish car I wasn't used to the idea that rust, rips, tears panel damage and a heater stuck on hot in summer were normal. In the last two months of preparing for blue slip (car was vic rego'd) and watching the car move towards a "stock-ish" appearance I have decided i love it and want t…

So since my JZX100 is still waiting on panels from Japan I snapped up this KE70 thats registered until next year. 4K-C with Aircon 5 Speed Manual Rust in boot lip, corners and a bit around front window. (Really shitty bog attempt made) Plan will be to daily the hell out of this until the Mark II is on the road and upgraded. After that will be dropping a 20V 4AGE into the car because being in Darwin, Don't need engineering to do it :D (As far as I'm aware). Soon incoming is new interior, mirrors and sound system. Also spraying some black around the windows because I want to. Good thing about not caring about the condition at the moment is I can entertain m…

Hello everyone, I have considered making a build thread of some sort for a while and I think it's about time I at least put a photo or two up of my Corolla. This Corolla is different to the Aussie delivered KE30 and it has the Japanese styled diff, tailshaft, brakes, brake booster and dash. My goal with this car is to keep the styling period correct and for it to be a lot of fun to drive. A lot of influence for modifications are also from my brothers RT104 Corona 'Grumpy'. Modifications: 3k head 4k block K50 Gearbox (KE70 variant) Single 40mm DCOE Weber Redline Webber manifold Hurricane 4-1 2 inch extractors 2-inch full exhaust 3-inch dump tip 7kg AJPS…
