Hi, Well I picked up a ke10 off ebay a week or two ago. I was pretty excited when I picked it up because It was my first car, and It is my favourite car. I love ke10's and I can't wait to build it. My dad and uncle have had abit of history with ke10's, ke17's. ke16's, celica's.. basically any hot car haha. So they were pretty happy when I said I bought a ke10. This is what i'm working with. -ke20 discs -simmons rims -3k motor I think -95% rust free in my opinion, Only rust in the bolt on panels -Pretty good interior, front seats are shot though. -I think it's been lowered. Here's a picture of my first attempt at removing rust I t…

Okay. so i have a post here somewhere it is incredibly long and full of pointless ramble so i decided i would cut it all down to a short new one so people who havent seen it can just look here and have it all =] okay. so basically i ended up with this car because dad grabbed it up for his own use when his motor bike was stolen. then basically i bought it off him because he no longer had a use for it and i figured it was a good first car. when we got the car it looked pretty bad. the passenger side front quarter was black from when the previous owner ran into a pole and had to have it replaced. so we got out the old spray can and silvered it so that it wasnt as bad…

After several months of having no rolla it started to bug me. So I seen this car advertised on rollaclub and went down to the bank and get a loan. a few days later I was on a plane bound for sydney to pick up my new rolla. specs: 1979 ke55 Coupe, repsrayed white approx 12 months ago, 4k/3spd auto, 2.5" exaust with 3"dump pipe. Progress: today I replaced the fuel tank with one out of my 4 door wreck, replaced rooted dash and pad with overrated ones, fitted mrk3's and purchased some king Springs. Plans: Remove all remaining rust from the car, get side guard and bonney resprayed. clean engine bay up, get the leaves reset and an extra leaf added, fitt kings…

ok guys before you ask no i don't have any photos ;) they will be up as soon as i take some. ok the low down, was up at mad mazda matts shop, and one of his mechanics mentioned he saw an 'old corolla' sitting near the gate at one of the local wreckers. i thought no harm in having a looksie, so on my lunch break i dawdled down there expecting to see an old ae82 or something. sure enough there was a little KE30 2 door sitting in just behind the front gate. knowing the owner i told hin i was going to have a glance, it turns out to be a 1975 2 door manual.....with a 5k in place of the 3k  the owner of the yard said 500, i said done. so it is currently residing in m…

Just picked up this one on Friday, the ol' girl had to come all the way from Queensland, but the price was right so it was worth it. It's an old 1980 liftback corona, rt132 model, always been a fan of these lifbacks. This ones got a vinyl top too :y: It's had a supercharged 1g-gze from a imported Chaser Advante front cut, 5 speed box from a ra60 Celica, power steering rack from... (can't remember right now but will update) and it goes hard! Engine bay needs a good clean up, and body could do with a full detail.

Hey hey, Since my ke70 wont be anywhere near road worthy condition when i get my licence back i have a bought a St141 corona to drive then. The bad stuff Needs new tires as my 13's with new tires makes the car look weird and it feels sloppy with them on. The rear windows don't wind up or down, The passenger door doesnt open either. Has 2 tiny spots of rust in the roof but they havent had a chance to go to holes yet. Time for the good stuff Has no terminal rust, Suspension is ok, Runs fine, Has a 5 speed, I put my s13 rims on it and it looks half decent now. Pictures

Hi people, this is now the car that I'm building the 20v setup into. Its a nice straight ae71 manual csx. I'm going to fit the 20v and ae86 diff and all the good suspension stuff from the last car. Its vital stats are as follows: White paint - code AA October 84 model. CSX so it has boot and fuel poppers and a lush velour ocean lapping the inside. 397,000 klms. Runs strong as can be, but it needs the exhaust welded up for a roadyworthy certificate. The t50 feels great, the smoothest quietest one Ive driven with. :jamie: It has a little rust. The fuel filler is fine, the arches are 98 percent, the boot lip needs work but only on one edge (the bit above th…

Just though I would make this thread to share my car with everyone. A couple of months ago I purchased my first car after searching for a while. It seems to be a very honest car with minimal rust and a few modifications. I plan to keep the car as a daily for now and just tidy it up a bit, maybe lower the back a little and add a few of my own touches to the car. So, the specs Engine 4A-C backed by a t50, mild cam, mild head work, re jetted carby, extractors and 2inch exhaust, extreme clutch, short shifter Suspension low king springs all round, short stroke shocks, whiteline front and rear sway bars and adjustable panhard, front strut brace, cusco castor bra…

After starting my own build for a drift car after it was defected it took me several months to get minimal work done to it, due to education commitments etc first thing i did was research some other builds of what needs to be done, pricing etc usual build stuff. It started life as a normal stock 4 speed manual ke70 with cut springs after the defect happened i stripped it and continue to drift it with no interia because well, it wasnt going through regency anyways and that loss of weight added atleast 40kw decided the stock seat then had to go so i purchased a Sparco milk crate and made it suit standard rails With then realising that its not smart t…

Hey guys, Realised I have been signed up here for a while but never posted, thought id jump on after seeing a whole lot of rollaclub stickers today. The car I drive is an 1987 AE82 Twin Cam Corolla. I bought it off of a bloke who was about to turn it into a rally car, so i like to think that i saved it, but I'm kinda doing exactly what he was minus the gravel shenanigans and roll cage haha The plan is to basically have this as a trackable daily driver. Mods: - Bazda's STD Coilovers - 15x7 949Racing 6UL's wrapped in Kumho KU36 - Fake (haters gonna hate) Bride fixed back bucket seats - CAI - Straight thru rear muffler Heres how it looked when i b…

New to this site, have purchased, finally found a descent ke20. Have always been on the hunt for the one. Found it 80,000 original k's everything on it priginal apart from the wheels. Am going to keep it standard, with a few possibilities. I have a 5 speed box to go in, and have put discs up front, and most likely lower it.

Hey Hey, This is my 5/70 Ke11 SE. The car was sold by Bill McCluskey's River view motors on Coronation Dr, Milton in Brisbane. A lady in Camp hill bought the car on the 22nd of May 1970. The 1000 mile inspection and Pre delivery was done by River view motors and every service after that was done on time at a Shell service station on Cavendish Rd at Coorparoo. I think the original rego was PPJ-859. The car has its warranty book, owners manual, A.M.I Electrocoat booklet, AWA authorised car radio service stations booklet and a diamond dot tape mate instruction booklet. Factory 3K and Toyoglide, Hubcaps and trim rings, Drums all round, Steel bladed fan and a borg …

Hi guys, I've had this for a while now and i thought it was about time i do some more work on it.. I originally had an immaculate T-18 which i only owned for 6 months due to my brother writing off! *Spewin* ;) I then bought this KE30 4door, it was rough as guts but after i lost my pride and joy i had no money, and as a struggling first year apprentice i had to make do.. I proceeded to pull out the engine and 5speed, seats and a few other bits and pieces from the T-18 before cutting the whole lot up with a 9inch angle grinder and taking the rest to the tip! I was surprised how easy it was to fit the 3T motor and box into the KE30 though. (i didn't know about r…

Hey everyone :y: I bought my second corolla, a white 1988 Ae82 Sedan. As most of you know I have a Brown Ae82 seca that was going to get rebuild but after pulling the whole thing apart and trying to paint it, I ran into some bad luck with the weather and Non self motivation. After moving house, I left it to rust up in the hills. I recently brought it down to where I live but after looking at it for about 2 months I have decided that I can't remember how to put it back together  I have a heap of spare parts and some goodies to put in the new corolla like AE94 brakes, 4age conversion, twincam shockers, rear disk brakes, 7" screen, mags, extractors, 2" exhau…

Hello boys and girls, So about a month ago (Late January!) I picked up two KE70s for a bargain 700 bucks! Unbelieveable! One auto, which I simply spent minimal change and cleaned up and use as a run around, the second: A 5 speed manual, blue, and might I add rare "XX" model which includes a boot and petrol flap release catch under the drivers seat, a taco dash, and velour interior! Wow how modern haha! I was stoaked. It had done under 180,000 and has been sitting since 2007. I later found out it CAN be registered! Woo! However, no where near roadworthy. So I've sunk my teeth into it and plan to focus purely on cosmetics and not bother with molestoring the runn…

After owning my white 4age ae82 and loving it , I sold it for the same amount I bought my new Red Lebo spec 4agze ae82 (2500). I had previously raced my white one around Barbagello and was 6-8 seconds off the Wrx's and Evo's, I wasnt loosing that much time in the corners even tho I didnt have semi slicks and was suffering badly from body roll ( kingsprings ) , on the straights however is where is was losing huge chunk of time. So hopefully this will counter some time lost on the straights and when coilovers, sway bars go in will be quicker in the corners. Starting to slowly un-leb it Intercooler went black for my stealth New Oz-racing wheels …

Well thanks to Nick I'm at the proud owner of a KE26 Panel van! Alot of you guys will know this car and know how good it actually is. The car is truly in exceptional condition. Looks to be original 100,000km. Body is fantastic with only a couple dents and no rust apart from very minor surface rust. Interior is amazing with an uncracked dash and dark blue NZ spec interior. Mechanics are good just need a few adjustments here and there. Since I brought the car from Nick i have: - Lowered the front with brand new 5kg 70-80mm lower springs (thanks Ryan) - New body molds down sidelines - Chrome wheel arch molding - Rubbed away alot of surface on the stone…

Well, went out and bought another rocket today. We've sealed the deal, and picking it up from Ballarat on Tuesday. :) It's a 1986 MX73 Cressida with a 5M-GE (with Extractors :D ) and 4-speed Auto. Green in colour, has full electrics (including Sunroof), Velour interior, P/S, A/C, Power Windows and Mirrors, the works. This will be a little project to make it a daily for when I get my P's. The previous owner had a RWC check done in June 2011, and came back with a list of Defects that need fixing/replacing, which was included in the sale. He had it sitting under his carport and hadn't started it in a few months, so we took a battery, and it fired 1st shot. An…
