Got a early KE70 with a silver-top sitting in it for $600(bargain), palmed off the 20V to a mate, now I'm left with a rough but Straight/Rust free shell, perfect canvas to work my magic on. Had to do a little shuffle this arvo so as to get the red KE17 back under cover after being away at the workshop for the last few weeks. hey guys I bought myself a project it is a 1979 Toyota Corona with a 18rc 2lt a GANNY CAR(as my dad calls it :D ), it has a four speed which is the w40 box and what dad can gather it has a 3.9:1 diff ratio, the interior is in excellent condition except for back parcel shelf, tear on top of back seats and driver seat springs ar prob gone but it will be ok :(, the engine bay is a bit bad but with a good wash and a bit of work it will come up good, ok there is alot of rust but it is all fixable rust so ive got a lot of work to do and I'm sure my welding skills will get better :hmm: My aim is to get it on full rego so i can drive it around as daily if not ill club re…

I don’t think I have ever been asked a question so many times when people ask me if I’m going to put a 4AGE or a 3SGE, “why would you put a Hilux donk in an AE71” Good point. Hey so as you all know not so long ago I purchased a KE55 off of Twitch on RC and managed to roll it in the same night. (See attached Pics). Just letting you all know that my wonderful mother (Mumma's boy now I can admit it lol) decided she wanted to take a holiday and offered to tow it home for me. So it drove onto the car trailer starting first go, off of the car trailer and is now at my uncles awaiting to get fixed. Hey, I bought this 2 door ke30 about a month ago for parts for my other one but when i got it home decided it was too good to strip so decided to give her a fresh coat of paint and use it as a daily. So far i've sanded all the black paint off, replaced the bonnet and bootlid(twice) and started straightening out the body, the passenger side rear quarter needed a fair bit of work, but i think i got it alright, and a bad dent just behind the drivers door, other than that it's just the usual small dents around the door handles/locks and the tops of the front quarters. I don't post often but thought it time I share some latest pics As some of you would have seen previously, I have a ke30 2door sedan with a 3k, worked head, lightened flywheel, EFI (7ke manifold), Megasquirt, distributorless ignition (EDIS), etc etc. It even has a catalytic converter. I have now added an AMR500 supercharger, which is originally from a 930cc twincharged Nissan March Superturbo. I fitted it to the engine using custom brackets, which I knocked up on a spare block in my shed. This was the easy bit! Thought it about time I re did the old girl again. Last time was over 20 years ago. This time I'm going down a different path from last time. Previously it was a fully worked 3k and 4 speed that was a real lot of fun. Embarrassed a few V8 Torana's in its day. Now I want Reliability and simple auto driving. And also passing on to my son once on his P's Later this year. Also cleaning up the rust and fitting either a 4ac or 4AGE with a 3 speed auto. Hi all. Picked up this KE70 from a mate recently to get onto the track with. I was 3/4 of the way through prepping a VT commodore for circuit duties but the costs were starting to get hefty. I planned on converting all the suspension arms on that to rose joint and costs were just blowing out, even with DIY every thing. Only so many hours in the day too Over a few drinks at said mates work shop n spied this in the corner neglected as he had just bought a fully prepped KE70 LS1 powered drift car.

Hi all, i'm new to the site and just wanted to share my new project. I recently bought a Ke26 wagon with a 5k 4 speed. I got it as a daily but seeing how small it is and how little it weighs, i'm thinking of a good motor for it for the quarter mile. I,ve got a Buick 3.8 5 speed, or a starfire 4, Aussie 4 speed . i can get either for nothing and would turbo the starfire if that was chosen. Just wondered what you guys reckon? Cheers :)

After I finally got rid of my 71 I was starting to think about what to put my gze in, main car I wanted to use was my ute but wasn't 100% keen on the idea and the 82 was out of the question as the blower sits where the brake master/booster is. I then started looking at an AL25 conversion but was put off by the driveline so my next option was an adub and well this one just fell on my feet. Car are an expensive hobby and once you have spent lots of $$ getting your hobby up to a useable standard you normally have to spend more $$ to keep it workable/running My other choice for spending $$ on is my arcade cabinet. Hey all, i bought this KE20 from a local forum member, I intend to restore it back to as close to original as possible. I repaired some rust and panel damage in the engine bay and have painted it D3 Bamboo, i sourced a stock 3k and toyoglide etc, good radiator and stock exhaust. Everything has been installed back in the engine bay as close as i can remember to where it would have originally been. I found a bonnet and guard from another forum member and now have the car on the road. It drives awesome and is even better on fuel. I will need to rebuild the brakes soon.
