So..... Zowie and I did another trade, and I got this thing. Ae82 20v blacktop conversion rear disc conversion and that's about it for now. Future plans? who knows, I quite like it so I wouldn't mind pumping a bit of money into it, fixing the suspension up (Probably Bazda gear) and maybe some engine work (I guess best value for money would just be a turbo) Hope to run it on a Dyno this week, maybe look into going aftermarket computer, and hopefully if I have time ill try and get out to Wednesday Test N Tune at Willowbank to see how slow it is. I decided to buy my Girlfriend, Amber, a car. She had always talked about her dad owning an AE82 Corolla Seca when she was little that he called the BLAT. I thought it would be nice to get her a Corolla the same model as the BLAT she loved so much... I found this one on gumtree, It was located in Mt.Bryan. Ok, so miracles do happen and I've acually picked up tools and worked on a car :o Since I bent the last one a little, I figured I'd build one properly in an attempt to actually finish a car for once. So it's been sitting in the yard getting rustier and moldy while I collected parts (plus tools) and got a rough plan of things to do. ok so out of the blue seen this thing advertised and thought id check it out, ended up driving it home lol already got plans 1. Paint job, thinking sky blue or pale british racing green 2. New Dash Pad and tidy up interior 3. New tires, whitewalls with KE25 hubbies 4. Chuck on my extractors and twin solex 5. New Brakes and lowered springs 6. Ok, so the project really is in its infancy and to be honest, will probably take a shite load of time to complete, but here goes anyway. Firstly, the most burning question is going to be WHY THE f@ck would i go 3K??? Simple. Cams put a 1.7 capacity factor on for anything super /turbo charged and i wannted something Turbocharged (as one of our company divisions works with turbos) and wanted to run somewhat cheaply, hence i wanted to be in the under 2L class. So backwards configuring, 2000 / 1.7 = 1176cc, so the capacity of the 3k at 1165 is as close to perfect as you could want. Hey guys, I picked up this beast a few weeks ago, she's a 1973 Corona, 4 speed manual with the 12R motor. When I bought her she was similar to these pictures, the paintwork was pretty neglected and dull but has come up nearly perfect with some love, I have also smashed some Whitewalls on and have just bought a new grill today (not yet fitted). She has 108xxx miles on her and is all original apart from being lowered, perfect interior and a sweet little thing to cruise in. I wish......... 1GR-FE ... oneday after the KE10 Beams is done Swapped my Datsun 1200 for a overrated little KE20. Well the plans for it are simple... just clean the body up more, find some overrated stock front seats, peal the sticker bomb off the dash, paint the dash black, find a good condition dash pad, fix all the instruments... Best modification so far was Air horns and twisted the window washer to the side to squirt people haha!

Hi Everyone its been a while since ive been on here got myself a new car and its a corolla again its like my 10th rolla, 1988 Corolla II GP Turbo 109000Km's Auto (sucks but it will do) 16x7 buddy club P1 Racing SF boost gauge 7" dvd player kicker splits and everything else is stock but the interior is really good unsure if i want to put some more power into it and make a fwd street drag car or leave it as is.

Long story short. Bought this corolla of an old man about 5 years ago for 1400 bucks. Drove it stock for a while then got sick of monster truck height so lopped the springs and got defected. Picked up this thing for around 2k, really can't remember. Stock 4k 4spd Rings are fried pretty much, but still runs, brand new clutch before I bought it and country pack suspension. Original factory paint, interior and exterior are almost perfect, just a few little bumps from dings from trolleys and that, will get them fixed up. First things are first, new motor, it will have to be a 4k untill I have all my points back next year, so if you know any going around, let me know. Ordered for the springs to be reset, and for a pair of coils for the front. Will keep this updated as it progresses.

I bought the Rolla from a family, who left their parent's car in the garage of an estate for years. Car had great interior, body in decent shape, and minimal rust, aside from the battery leaking acid onto metal. Corolla came with a 3kc 4 speed, which had 25,000 miles. So, by a stroke of luck, today I picked up my new Ae112r Conquest. Original 99,000km, owned by the same family for 10 years. The piles of service paperwork to go with it are almost the same size as the car! It's been pampered and garaged for most, if not all it's life. Completely stock standard. Drove beautifully on the way home from Port Melbourne. If it wasn't pouring with rain outside i'd have some pictures for you guys, but alas, no photos until I can get a chance.

hi all, i have been on this site for a while now. I picked up this 1971 ke25 which was a bit of a mess. it was a stolen and recovery vehicle, which the owner no longer wanted to keep. She sold it to me around 4yrs ago. I have been working on it in my spare time, trying to find all the rare bits that i needed to replace. It was a toyoglide when i got it, but the glide in it was gone. I converted it myself to a 5spd manual. I have completed all the mechanical work on this car myself, and i mean myself. I sold my '66 valiant quick for $675usd and bought this TE72 wagon for $400usd. The car was really well cared for by its original owner, it always went to the Toyota dealer for everything but things he could get a better warranty on. (Exhaust, brakes, tires, batteries.....etc) The car had 40,000mi on it by the time it was a year old! The po was a carpenter and used it like a truck; he even bragged he had 8 sheets of plywood strapped to the roof. Overall; it's pretty clean; it's condition belies the 275,000 MILES on it. This is how it looked for a while, i'm in the process of making the cutout grille again. After a wash at home, probably one of the last photos where the paint was still nice.
