So!.... I've had this for a while. A mate of mine said he saw an old corolla his buddy posted and thought I might be interested. Called him and turned out to be a 67' ke10! ????. Long story short, picked it up for a steal and took it to the missus brothers place to store it. I had originally bought the car to use as a doner for my blue 70' ke11 but turns out its a very very straight shell with the normal rust in the spare wheel well and a few tiny spots up front in the sils in front of the door, besides that, I'm stoked! It also has ae86 struts and hubs in there somehow too. A few owners before me has a turbo ca18 in it so it's got a big trans tunnel which suits my p…

I thought i was over Corolla's for a while.. Apparently not! Basically bought it to quickly tidy it up and make a half practical daily.. My lowdown Celica and Crown are far from ideal.. So here it is! My Ke38 Body is a bit rough, Fair few rust patches and a few dents will need the porta power but pretty happy with it. Plan is to weld in Celica rear guards as the rear arches are fubar, Weld up the rust, Drop in a motor and rego it I'll do some more to it than that but those are the initial plans. Also 10 points if you can recognise the car

This past week I purchased a cheap daily driver that would cost as little as possible to put on the road. Little did I know that I would end up deciding to keep this car long term. In my search for information to fix a few issues with the car I found this forum and discovered what potential I had purchased. I have an 1982 AE70 Corolla with a 3TC motor and a T50 transmission. It is a 2 door sedan, I believe that is different from the coupe but am unsure, with a bit of superficial body damage to the right side and no rust to speak of. as far as I can tell all parts are stock. I purchased it with a little over 213,000 miles on the vehicle. As it sits currently…

Hey everyone been lurkin on the forums for a while now and decided to start a build thread for my ke55. The plans are pretty simple; Sand it back and fix all the rust and total open door respray (not certain on what colour yet, any ideas?) Worked 4k/5k. Specs will be, Knife edge crank, bored 60thou, 12.8 to 1 compresion ratio, custom grind cam, smallport head, (they make more power) 350 holley, custom made extractors with 2'' straight through with a spintek muffler and a lightened fly wheel. Iv been racing ke55's for about 5 years now and know how to get them going, and with a dyno in my shed it will be quite easy ;). Need to source a 5 speed! if anyone has one in WA …

Hi all, Time to turn on the lights in the shed and do strange things to my T18s. Big plans but little money and even less time. Want to end up with something fun for speeding through traffic cones in carparks. Here's some pics of the starting points... Cheers, Brett

Hey guys. This is my 1998 daily. I've never posted pictures of my work. I'm self taught and seeing where I can go with it. Let me know what you guys think. It's definitely a work in progress. I'll just post one pic for now and take more. Here's a before and after of my seat. The front two are done (except a head rest) and I'm just starting the back now.

Hey all, Thought i'd post up a new ke10 i picked up a couple of months ago. Wasn't cheap, but no ke10's are.. At-least it doesn't need much work! Body's pretty much perfect just needs a 4age swap really! Thoughts? Needs a good polish though i'll admit..

I thought i'd throw up a photo of my new love i've been toying with for a while.. Used to be on here quite a lot, I left RC for about a year and something due to getting sick of ke70's and internet. My ke10 was being a stubborn shit and i moved it to my friends house 85k's away for a while. Built a ca18det ke30 only to get bored, Built a 3t ke70 for a mate and lately a retardedly stupidly spastic 3sgte build is taking up my time for the Celica Found it on Gumtree, After a phone call drove 300k's to get it a few days later and been smitten ever since! 1973 MS65 Crown, HM Motors rebuilt 4m and w40 Here's how it currently sits! New windscreen, …

G'day all, this is my latest project (car on the waiting list..) After wanting the car for about 4 months but not being able to afford it, the previous owner asked me if i had a commodore v6 engine for a conversion he's doing, ended up swapping a vt v6 wagon for the corona! its a little bit rough, but very good in the rust department, seems to only have a tiny bit on one of the rear wheel arches, has a few dents and some of the interior is a bit torn up, but still in pretty good condition for its age, i never used to like these mk2's much, but done right they can look really good :) and i now love the shape.... anyways here are some pics. stole the whe…

About time I put up a rides thread on my 1969 KE15 Toyota Corolla Sprinter, since its been 6 months since I bought it. The purchase came about as I had a hankering to own another classic besides the Celica, which I could put on club reg and use for the odd spot of hillclimbing, Sunday cruising etc, and be less precious about it - the Celica spends more time in the garage than it should because I am terrified someone will open their door on it in a carpark, or its raining, or the day ends in Y... etc etc. I spotted a KE15 on ebay that was a bit rough around the edges, but I figured in time with some love I could get it to fit the brief. I called the owner, and he q…

After I finally got rid of my 71 I was starting to think about what to put my gze in, main car I wanted to use was my ute but wasn't 100% keen on the idea and the 82 was out of the question as the blower sits where the brake master/booster is. I then started looking at an AL25 conversion but was put off by the driveline so my next option was an adub and well this one just fell on my feet. It's an aw10 but the 3a has been removed and the front guards are missing, I do however have another front end and a ton of spares, will be pulling the interior out and cleaning it all up and changing some of it out for the supercharged stuff at work. Plan is to finish my engine,…

So after idolising Dave (te278u) te27 for years and also numerous other friends having tricked up ke2x I had to have one. After buying 3 other cars off Dave (ke10 and 2 ke70 wagons) he mentioned thinking of selling a ke25 he had stowed away in the corner of his shed to wich I of course replied "I want it" sooo now to make it into something I can drive daily and still have some fun. When I picked her up And at her new home after some cleaning and disassembling for paint and panel

After looking around for a cheap daily for a while this popped up. AE82 4 door sedan running a stock but cleaned up 4AC to 3 speed auto. Some random wheels with king springs all round (found the receipt for $360!). I'm giving a budget build a bit of a crack with this one - I picked her up for $200, bargain. The paint is great, interior and motor need a little love, but it runs and drives. Happy with the purchase all in all. Running tally (will be updated as time goes on. Car: -$200 Change in car: +13.35 Total: $186.65

As the title says, just new owning a AE93 Seca, 5 speed manual, it has the 4AGE engine, still really getting use to the car and learning about it all, it's alot different to my old car (R31 Skyline) Mainly just trying to tidy it up a bit and replace the parts that are needed replacing. So far the things I need to replace are as follows: - Gearstick surround - Drivers seat - Boot seal - Rocker cover gasket - Clutch pedal rubber - Boot carpet If anyone has any of them for a reasonable price in SA, that'd be pretty cool. A few things ive noticed with this engine is that it seems to be using a fair bit of oil compared to my old cars, had a read o…

So I've been lurking around for awhile on this forum both before I purchased this KE30, back when I had a Datsun 210, and snagged a new project off of Craigslist in Oklahoma, USA a few weeks ago for $500USD. In reality I traded some other car parts and didn't have to pay anything for this new toy. After dragging it home I found that the cylinders were stuck and began trying a few different things, Marvel Mystery Oil and other oil products. However, after that didn't work I decided to pull the head to get a better look. After pulling it off and seeing that some condensation had gotten into one of they cylinders causing some rust I decided to try a different produc…

so i picked this up a few weeks ago running so terribly it may aswell not have been. And not stopping when it eventually did get going. i paid 800 for it which was probably too much but there is no rust in it anywhere which i thought was a decent win :D i also just wanted one and was sick of looking :P its an 84, 5 speed and its stock as a rock so i can make it all mine. Plans are 3rz conversion, trd ae86 suspension all round, bucket seats, tidy interior up and a new coat of paint. previous owners spray can job is bloody awful. First up i fixed the brakes which luckily was just a badly leaking wheel cylinder in the rear. got that all bled out before dark…

o.k. here I am, relatively new to the forum, first post. I was working for a vehicle restoration company early last year when I got offered this KE36 for sale, at the time I was 16 and although I was interested garage space at home was lacking, I joined this forumn however in the hope that one day the car would become mine and I could get some ideas, so here I am, year and a half later, about to get my p plates when I get a phone call asking me if I am still interested or she was going to the wreckers, well I couldn't let that happen could I?? $200 + $70 for a tow home and the car was in my possesion! I will try to post regularly as I move on, however garage…

I own a factory built corolla Sportivo 2001, there were only 110 made and it is said that only 100 made it here to Australia. I own number 69/110. My knowledge and skills around cars is about 90% as I still learn something everyday. I decided to join this forum as I am going to rebuild my engine and may need some advise form the experts. I have uploaded a few images when I first bought 'The Whore'.

Hi Guys, So i have been posting lots of random questions and i thought i would just start a build thread so i have a central place to find info and share the build. Thanks to Altezza and a few others who have been super helpful so far. I found a 67 rolling shell which had been sprayed and was relatively rust free on fleabay and it had been sitting in this guys shed for 7 years since the work was done. He had cut out the dash and widened the tunnel to take a sr20 and then run out of cash. Plans are just to get it back on the road and then start getting things together to start from scratch (want it to be Matt black rather than purple) So anyway since i have…

I am constantly on rollaclub checking out other peoples ke corolla's and so thought I might throw a few pictures of my old girl up. At the moment it has the mantle of the oldest known street registered corolla in the country, the VIN is ke10 182969 I bought the car 5 years ago, it was an ex rally car from Tassie that had been driven pretty hard. It already had the 5k in it with an updated cam and extractors, it is running a celica 5 speed gearbox. It also had a Ke70 brake upgrade What I have done so far: After driving it home to the annoying sound of the worlds winiest diff I set about finding another one and ended up picking up a LSD for it off a Ke10…
