Hey guys, AS you know from my signature I am in the process of building a 4AGTE AE71 sedan, I have not got everything to complete it as yet so i am going to use my spare bigport GE and run it N/A until I can gat a bare Bigport GZE, I will be running the factory auto until I get the GZE then the auto will be off to get a stally and a shift kit (I don't care how gay that sounds to some), The main thing at the moment is I still need to convert the fuel system to EFI, I will be separating the GE FWD harness to run engine only and keep it separate from the factory harness, I'm just waiting for the engine crane and my stand so i can get stuck into it. Planning to put a 3sge beams OR a hilux 3rz!!! into her or a sr20det vct as i already have the sr but from what ive read sr is more fvcking around!! so pretty sure ill be going with the 3sge pure n/a warrior ! My new barn find, the humpback. My brother mentioned a while back he'd be interested in the 'rolla thing. He'd saved up some money, so I said I'd keep my eyes peeled. That's where the trouble began. I was surfing all the usual car sites and I found the fidy. It's a little tired, drives well two owner machine. It's had a g'box rebuild, callipers, starter and alternator done. My brother is now buying my '35 Plans are to employ some of uncle shadies patented crap remover, fix up the little bits of rust,cut and polish, regas the a/c, get it regoed and then start messing with it. I think , maybe lower with my wagon rims widened and whitewalls. I love UGLY!

Ok i have been meening to do this for a wile. So hears the story.... I had first seen the rolla that my mate got from his granny years before and was very jelous. Then we had a job together and I picked up my mate for work everyday and walked past his rolla EVERY DAY. I could not let her just sit there, so i saved enough moola and took it off his hands. ***Change Of Vehicle*** I have decided to put together an AE71 Panelvan as i had a spare bigport GE in the shed, I am hoping to have this one running as soon as i get the box and carbies for it, It will be running twin 45mm DCOE webers on a bigport adaptor (on the way from the US), Also need to get extractors and it should be done, I'm going to see how it goes with the stock 4age distributor with an ignition module, There will be no advance but i will just have it setup to run good at high rpm. Picking this up from an uncle on the weekend, can't wait! I just couldn't pass it up - especially given I'm paying almost nothing for it. Hi all, Thought you might be interested in my "new" TE37 Levin. I found it on the yahoo.jp auction site, and with the help of import monster (http://www.importmonster.com.au) purchased it. It arrived in my garage in Melbourne, Australia on May 4 2012. The good: It's super straight - very little rust, original shell, dash all there (re-covered binnacle) everything is clean and tight. The "bad": not really bad... just different... The head has been changed (to an EFI "big valve") but still with original carbies, suspension has been lowered, missing the air con compressor and evaporator, no carpet. Hello all, after having the corolla running for a few months its time to make the car look good! First of all ill be stripping it and then removing the rust patches out of the vehicle and then giving her a nice paint job! Not decided on what paint colour to give her but i am thinking of the XR8 Deepish Orange colour once the rust is removed and panel work is done then its onto the engine to rebuild the turbo!(Unless a WRX turbo comes in cheaper) Replace the camshaft with a standard one so the car can be tuned properly. Ok, so the project really is in its infancy and to be honest, will probably take a shite load of time to complete, but here goes anyway. Firstly, the most burning question is going to be WHY THE f@ck would i go 3K??? Simple. Cams put a 1.7 capacity factor on for anything super /turbo charged and i wannted something Turbocharged (as one of our company divisions works with turbos) and wanted to run somewhat cheaply, hence i wanted to be in the under 2L class. So backwards configuring, 2000 / 1.7 = 1176cc, so the capacity of the 3k at 1165 is as close to perfect as you could want. I own a factory built corolla Sportivo 2001, there were only 110 made and it is said that only 100 made it here to Australia. I own number 69/110. My knowledge and skills around cars is about 90% as I still learn something everyday. I decided to join this forum as I am going to rebuild my engine and may need some advise form the experts. So I've been lurking around for awhile on this forum both before I purchased this KE30, back when I had a Datsun 210, and snagged a new project off of Craigslist in Oklahoma, USA a few weeks ago for $500USD. In reality I traded some other car parts and didn't have to pay anything for this new toy. After dragging it home I found that the cylinders were stuck and began trying a few different things, Marvel Mystery Oil and other oil products. most of u will remember this advertised on here about a month ago for sale. all ive done since buying it is put in std seats sold the race ones and sold the mags and put my white walls on. also did the xt130 corona brake and strut conversion. also fitted venetian and eyelids for head lights for bit of old school touch. the stuff that was already done was engine conversion and cut down 28 spline commodore diff. so i really didnt have to much to do which i like, as i need to spend some time on my cortina as have plans of it running decent times, and this is just my daily driver and the g/fs shopping car. have plans of going to the drags at willowbank in a couple of weeks …

I purchased this '81 KE55 Sedan off ebay for $660 as a donor car for my KE20 build. 225,000KM. Fortunately but unfortunately i've decided to keep the car complete and restore her to orginal condition. I'm not entirely sure of it's history but its in need of panel work, veery minor rust repair and some paint on the front left quarter and door. I love the colour... It's a 4-kc, 5 speed gearbox, which may end up in my KE20. Runs well mechanically and no smoke.
