heres my ke70 its a 1984, S model (povest spec) rust in both rear archs, rust in one spot in boot. will fix when i got around to it, and flare them... broken bumper lenz.. will replace it some time... mods: currently i have a reclinable drivers bucket as the stock one had the arse fallen out of it ;) also have a 3 3/4" tacho over the ghey clock geniune single layer nitto tape eye lids 8mm spacers on the front... parts i got that is going in: ma61 rims.. just need some desent 2nd hand tyres.. 4ac and t-50 layin on my shed floor up coming: 4ac conversion organic plate exedy cut springs ae86 struts/adm brakes ma61 rims.. get them on the dam car!…

Hi there . just got my first corolla a 1975 KE35 hardtop. picked it up for $650 and drove it for 8 hours straight to get it home. shes got the 4k engine. but a four speed manual. the pics are attached if you want to comment.[ needing some advise on where to start in getting the little beast going a bit better. got some extracters and exhaust but thats about it. also would like to improve handling. what sort of price range is a 4age coversion worth?. is there any thing else could possibly look at? also what are some parts that are same as other models as this isn't the easiest thing to get parts for. any places that are best to look.

Hi all I have been missing having a fun weekend car that I can take on cruises etc and have been keeping an eye out for something classic and preferably in original condition. That search led me to this little gem. Its a 1969 KE15 SL Sprinter with just over 90,000km on the clock. Was owned by a 95 yo (!!!!) marine engineer, who hasn't driven it in the last 4 or 5 years, but up to then was his pride and joy. hey pplz i want to introduce u 2 my beloved ae86 sprinter . i bought the car about a year ago now , had the a shitty 1 wheeler in there , so 2days later i locked the diff with jdm rear end and a full spool diff and realised y shes sucha beautiful car to slide and drive . at the moment shes got the dunga 4ac motor in it , with a few slight goodies , like trd springs and kyb shocks , penard rod , etc etc has reverse ssr rims on it with a nice stretch 175-50-15's . the car is pretty ruff , so i decided 2 strip her right down including all the sound deadning tar and carpet and give her a fresh 2pak panda paintjob . which is still in the progress of completion . my fut…

My 4agte Ke70 recently blew up its 2nd standard diff. So i decided to do a conversion I Recently completed my diff conversion in my ke70. R31 skyline lsd disc brake diff. After much research i found that everyone was either taking both diffs to an engineering shop to get the mounts changed over, or making up a jig. Both options are quite expensive/time consuming. Being low on cash i did the conversion a cheaper way and wanted to tell others- (this is the reason for this post). I first marked a centre line on both diffs (went between the upper trailing arms on the ke, and between the sway bar mounts on the r31 to work it out). Then marked a reference line along …

So me and my friends picked up another KE70. Thought I'd make a thread. Plans are to throw all the gear from the beige car into this and get it on the road so that means; - Standard Blacktop 20v with Sam Q water kit and velocity stacks. Also has SP Tec dizzy relocation kit. Hey Hey, This is my 5/70 Ke11 SE. The car was sold by Bill McCluskey's River view motors on Coronation Dr, Milton in Brisbane. A lady in Camp hill bought the car on the 22nd of May 1970. The 1000 mile inspection and Pre delivery was done by River view motors and every service after that was done on time at a Shell service station on Cavendish Rd at Coorparoo. I think the original rego was PPJ-859. The car has its warranty book, owners manual, A.M.I Electrocoat booklet, AWA authorised car radio service stations booklet and a diamond dot tape mate instruction booklet. Hey everyone. Have recently just left a deposit on bezenders ke36. And will be picking it up within a few weeks :yes: thought I'd chuck this up now as I'm bored ATM lol. Anyways will update as things go along. Plans are gettig running a1 and intercool I and later on efi. After Nikki gets her full license we'll upgrade it to a 5kte :hmm: but ATM we gotta get an approval for her to drive a turbo car as it is. I bought this car off of ebay not so long ago to have as a project car.. i have been following other peoples threads such as 67rollas and davros ke10 (nice work btw guys) and now I'm gona start my own. At the moment I'm wanting to do a complete resto with a 4age for the donk! I started off buying a white slanty 4age ke70 from SA, left Melton at 5:30am, drove to the other side of adelaide and then drove this corolla back with no heater & a locked r/h/f strut for 7 hours at 4,200rpm. It was standard bodied on 14 inch cressida steel wheels. I cut the springs and fitted a set of rota grids & cheap china tyres then it looked like this. I bought this car off a friend of a friend, it already had the motor in the car although there were many corners cut. I blew the standard diff within 2 nights of owning the car, got another standard one for the time. It originally ran a rb25 T3 though the seals blew and I figured it was a good excuse to start with the upgrades. Specs as of now. It took me around 6 years to get it road worthy the first time - only to have it broken into and stripped for all the good parts. Another 2 years later and more money saw it back on the road with new interior. My car was built from a brand new shell by TOM's Japan for Tom's Toyota Racing GB (England). its first race was Spa 24 hour(Belguim) in 1987. After winning its class in the British Touring Car Championship in 1988 & 89, it came to Australia as part of the Bob Holden team. The car raced in the Aust touring Car Championship from 1990-93. So I sold my AE71 last night and had already placed a deposit on my new addition, a little yellow KE11. The KE11 will be used as a cruiser/daily through this Summer whilst I look patiently for another daily. I didn’t want to rush out and buy a crap daily that I would regret buying so this thing should tide me over for a bit. The KE still has the 3K which appears to be in really good condition, and overall this car is a very tidy unit. The KE will then be hidden away for a while during the colder months and brought out again late next year when the weather is good again. Its about time that I put my Little daily in the rides section. Its a 1987 AE82 Twincam seca. Engine: stock bigport mods: pod filter, 2 1/2" exhaust from the cat back with a 4" dump pipe (man its loud!), Kings superlow springs (soon to be upgraded to pedders), stereo to try and drain out the exhaust noise :)

The Story: Bought this today off 'never'. It was a 'must buy' situation as i have been obsessed with this particular little car since i was old enough to walk.
