hi folks I'm a new member. just picked up this corolla last week. it has only got 75,000klms on it....not sure if thats genuine but judging by the interior it seems like it's been looked after. i bought it as a car for my gf to drive but i don't want to let her drive it now as I'm scared she will ding it. all of the paint seems original too so i don't think its been in any major accidents.

G'day all this is my 2dr ke30 (75) its got the shameful 3k but hopefully a worked 2tg will be going in the next few months( when money permits) I'm doing an all round package, engine, driveline ,suspension, paint , stereo and interior . Shes pretty clean although rust has come through in the usual spots. paint is also flaking so i gotta start on her. I have only got a couple pics but there will be more soon..ish

Fisher and myself have decided to have a little fun with an AE71 Spirit. Firstly made possible by Fisher getting another daily (RA40 Celica). The stripping has been done, with the cleaning still happening (got to love getting rid of lovely fur and glue :P) and also a few more electrical wires and bolts to be taken out, but we would rather take our time on that side. The motor will be a 2TG, which has plans for a full rebuild with porting, shaving, racing cams, fuel injection and a supercharger. I picked this up last weekend, it's a 1989 Crown Royal Saloon G, so far I'm extremely happy with it, it's a great car, extremely comfy and the 1UZ is a great motor. Going to chuck a more trick air controller in with more features so I can slam it hard for posing, then maybe fix the indash TV so it's able to tune into aussie frequencies.

Hey Rolla heads So I just bought this 74 wagon and pulled it out of a field in the middle of no where. The body is very straight with very little rust (I was shocked) The interior is an absolute mess and looks like a bomb has hit it. Whoever bolted the brake booster to the firewall bolted it straight through the wiring loom and fried everything. The whole car needs to be rewired. The engine has bigger Pistons, valves, springs, lumpy cam, crank, ect ect I found all the receipts from the build in the car. Engine doesn't run thought :( I think it was a bit of a backyard build. Planning some work on my KE55, time for a build thread. Here goes: I bought this stock as a rock KE55 a few months ago, and have been pouring time into learning how everything works and repairing whatever issues spring up. So far, I've changed the stock carby to a 32/32 weber off a fiat 500 (or similar), given it a thorough tuneup, done a couple of suspension bushings, etc. and changed the clutch after it exploded when I was interstate. It's developed a decent misfire, and I've diagnosed this as a piston ring issue. The motor also has just on 200k kms on it. I figure if I'm going to take the motor out to fix it, I may as well change it for a 5k! I…

Hi Guys, I've been loving the RollaClub community and advice from memebers and the forums. I thought its about time I post some pics of my KE20 project. The project started in 2003 when I removed the 3k, rebuilt a 4k and slapped it in. Also locked the diff and started the body work. For some reason in about 2005 life got to busy and didn't have much time for the beast, so it got moved into storage. 4 years later, missing the urge to go sideways now driving everyday lancer wagon, :dance: the corolla pasion has sprung back into gear and the car has come out of storage. :S

About time I posted up my project daily dx. Picked up back in 2002 with no rego no warent and in need of a good spruce up. It had already been started of with a Calipso Blue paint job. Well 1st of all we needed to fix the wiring which was a mess and sort out brakes with some pads. After having the car road worthy with a fresh warrent and rego i decided to sort out the height and installed some dobi lowering springs and new shocks all round. I got this ke70 from brisbane about 2 weeks ago.. and plan to do a bit to it.. so i thought i would do a build thread first off, its a 1983 model ke70 with a 5k & 5 speed conversion Gt shocks weber carby extractors 2 1/4" exhaust first off, driving it home from brisbane the throttle return spring snapped, so i put a zip tie to hold it in place till i got home also, on the drive home.. no matter how loud i turned the radio, i just couldnt hear it so i went out and got some new 6x9 speakers also

ok guys have finally paid the rocket off. its a 1981 ke70 cs 5 speed. completely stock as a rock, bit dirty and paint is pretty poor, but turn the key and away she goes :) has 4 good tyres already, clutch grabs when its supposed to, all gears shift smoothly, and the interior is awesome minus a few small tears in the rear seat. will keep everyone updated as the progress continues. these photos are as i picked it up has not been washed or vaccuumed.enjoy :)

Hi all, saw this on ebay 30 minutes after the auction started and after a very quick call to the seller I hit the “buy it now” button and she was mine. She’s a 1970 KE17 Sprinter, owned by only two owners for the last 20 years. In the 7 years the most recent previous owner had it it’s been almost completely restored, with a bare metal respray and completely retrimmed interior. It has KE20 disc brake front end and KE20 full height seats which have be re-upholstered to suit the rest of the interior. picked up this beauty today with bAKER. 1982 ke70 panno. white. 4spd manual, 280,000kms on the clock. has only done about 800kms in the past year so everything is a bit stiff but she's slowly loosening up. will not have the chrome bars much longer. have sold them for nearly the cost of the car. plan is just to have it on club registration and have it ship shape for the vic members GOR run at the end of january. no tents for me! will have more detailed pics and information once i get a good look over it after new years. just wanted to spread the excitment now. :happy:

Hello all i have finally got some pics of my work in progress , about february the 3K in my KE25 had just about had enough So i got myself a 16V 4AGE with T50 , it was all setup for RWD (plenum , thermostat , etc) and ripped out the 3K and got to work . hi. i thought i would share my ke30 restoration i started about a month ago . i bought this car for 200 bucks of ebay its not in the best shape as you can see(sorry about the shitty photos). iv had all ready taken the motor and gear box out. the dude over heated the motor and cooked it. so i clean the engine bay did a bit of sanding, degreseing and some good elbow grease heres the engine bay . i can't up load any more photos so i have to wait till tomorrow

Bought this off a retiree a couple of weeks ago. He bought it in 1990 and has babied it since then. When we found it, the van had been sitting in the garage for months. Came with thousands of dollars in maintenance receipts. Poor guy got ripped off bad by his mechanic. Initial plans are to fit quad headlights and subsequent front guards, wheels, flare the guards, tint windows, new windscreen, straighten bumpers a bit and add some fixed back seats. Hope you like.

Hey thought i should post my engine conversion. Most of the melbourne guys have seen my car. 5k engine with a weber etc. Well all thats coming out and a 2tg is going in. Day 1 Gearbox off engine to change over clutch New clutch etc. on Day 2 5k comes out 2tg goes in Had one casualty... the speedo cable was forgotten about and when pulling the engine out on the crane it got rather rooted Day 3 to be continued...
