HI all so ive been on here for a while religiously watching peoples progress on there ke projects.and finnaly decidded to add mine its a ke11 it had a 5k 5peed otherwise pretty standed unfortunately just before Christmas the diff blew so as i was replacing diff i decided to lower it as well. even more unfortunate i had major issues with the diff being a different drive shaft bolt pattern and so it sat in my garage for a while and to add to my bad luck my house went under in the floods taking the car with it. water receding after floods leaving it wet and muddy after i stripped the interior and water blasted it very strange feeling. so at this point …

:hmm: :o hey, this is my daily work hack. :hmm: was incredibly slow so i thought id wack a couple of mods on it. so far it has 2inch exhaust soon 2 1/2. ported head, big cam, heavier valve springs,extractors, 45mm side draugh webber. and a fireball ignition system. it went alright like that but still was poo.... :D so i started making a sc14 supercharger setup, that took about 4 weeks to do. its pulleyed up and it runs 15psi :hmm: :hmm: i have ironed out all the bugs and it absolutely flies now for a 4k. will do dyno run and post readings up on here. .well anyways here is the finished product. Hi all, saw this on ebay 30 minutes after the auction started and after a very quick call to the seller I hit the “buy it now” button and she was mine. She’s a 1970 KE17 Sprinter, owned by only two owners for the last 20 years. In the 7 years the most recent previous owner had it it’s been almost completely restored, with a bare metal respray and completely retrimmed interior. It has KE20 disc brake front end and KE20 full height seats which have be re-upholstered to suit the rest of the interior. Unfortunately the paint prep wasn’t the best, and there’s a few bubbles/humidity blisters coming through. The doors and guards have been pretty extensively repaired so …

Hey, I've started accumulating the bits and pieces for my turbo 5K. The plan is to use my 5K block, bore it out 0.5 - 1.5mm. Use some 78 internal, 81 - 82 exteranl, cast steel sleeves in the bores. I scored 4 rb20det pistons with 80k on em for 20 bucks! So that should work nice with some brass inserts to connects the rods. The pistons are 3.2 mm shorter than a 5K unit so I'm gonna deck the block 1mm and shave the head 1mm too, and use a 1mm copper head gasket with a double O-ring. I'll reconfigure the head a bit too. It should be about 1.4 L and 7.5 - 7.8 : 1 compression ratio after that. I plan not to rev it too hard so I'm gonna stick with standard 5K rods…

After owning my white 4age ae82 and loving it , I sold it for the same amount I bought my new Red Lebo spec 4agze ae82 (2500). I had previously raced my white one around Barbagello and was 6-8 seconds off the Wrx's and Evo's, I wasnt loosing that much time in the corners even tho I didnt have semi slicks and was suffering badly from body roll ( kingsprings ) , on the straights however is where is was losing huge chunk of time. So hopefully this will counter some time lost on the straights and when coilovers, sway bars go in will be quicker in the corners. In general, the car is in a very solid state, and because of previous modifications, has good potencial as a project. Breakdown: 1984 slant front Toyota White recent home spray job ( Pretty good job) 5 speed 300k's sloppy diff Shot carby interior not in the best shape Not drivable in current condition Reasonable price The Plan: Fix it up nice and cleanly. thought i would start a topic on my 2 daily drivers and what i have been doing to them. not so much a project thread but more like an ongoing maintenance log type thing. i bought another 28/36 DCD weber on ebay last week. i got it yesterday, rebuilt it and now it is on the warm 5k in my ke15 to replace the worn out one that i was running. this carb came off a 1500GT Mk1 cortina. the last DCD was from a fiat 1500 cabriolet i think. anyway the thing runs better than it has for a long time. just running the factory 1500GT cortina jetting so far. it is amazing how much throttle spindle wear stuffs with the way your car runs. last week i changed the diff i…

"Oh no not another thread", Yes its me again. This is my Datsun 1200 ute thats has more Toyota parts than Datsun. Upgraded to a 4AGE 20V, T50 Box and Microtech all from my 2 door KE30 and it already had KE30 front struts, LCA, Tie rod ends and steering arms. More pics as i go, but this was 4 hours work so far including pulling out the old engine. Engine mounts on the Xmember will be next and by the looks of it its going to take abit of fabrication work.

Not a Corolla I know but thought some might be interested. Copied and pasted from another site. Bought this yoke near two years ago. Was a standard 1 liter 4 speed. Been working on it since, AE86 brakes, coilovers, extra lock powersteering knuckles, NCRCAs, rear gaz coilovers, underneath fully repainted, all new brake lines, seals, pads/shoes, etc. Fully pollybushed. Basically every type of serviceable part replaced, track rods, TCAs etc. Rebuilt a 1.3 4k about a year ago, fitted a TRD 2 way LSD redid the bottom end then, went again, fitted a 4age on bike carbs. Will just let pictures do the talking.

Hey thought i should post my engine conversion. Most of the melbourne guys have seen my car. 5k engine with a weber etc. Well all thats coming out and a 2tg is going in. Day 1 Gearbox off engine to change over clutch New clutch etc. on Day 2 5k comes out 2tg goes in Had one casualty... the speedo cable was forgotten about and when pulling the engine out on the crane it got rather rooted Day 3 to be continued...

Hey Guys, Picked myself up a new dd yesterday. '83 st141. Running the stock 2sc but its been rebuilt 30k ago apparently. Already done a few mods to her. Put a set of Ma61 mags on an i stuck my old twinky wheel from my keto in too. Doesn't have a tacho, but instead rocking the huge clock. I have a 5" autometer tacho i could put in, but it seems a little over the top :/ The previous owner has put ma70 struts and brakes into the car, but its running non captive king springs of unknown model so I'm looking to replace those. Hey all, Figured I'd start a topic on RC about my schools personal project for year 10. My father, brother and I are currently commencing the conversion of our 4k, ke20 2-door corolla, A.k.a, RKE 020, from a 40mm delorto carb to EFI. When it started life it was a bamboo coloured 3k 2-door ke20 with a 2 speed auto box.A 4k was then put in it and also a 5 speed manual box keeping the existing diff gearing. The 4k was by no means stock, we built it with a lumpy camshaft with 109 degrees lobe separation. Start, and current pics. Next is full boot install, black carpet, sub and amp I have laying around. Car already has custom black door trims, I need to do the carpet, and fix the cracks in the dash. Then comes paint...I am thinking bright orange maybe...or something else that will stand out :P
