Hi All, I've been a member for a while - initially I signed up to buy a KE35 for my girlfriend, but having it sitting in the driveway and puttering around on weekends inspired me to upgrade. So on Saturday I pick up my first Corolla - a 1974 KE20 that's been in one family since new. Hey all thought I would introduce my self since I have been lurking on here for a few days So I'm building a 1984 AE71 in to a time attack / hillclimb car. So to start it off i brougnt this car of a lady for $600 and then the stripping started The rear axel was ripped out and sold and a bigger r31 axel and diff purchesed which atm in still lining the mounts up and re welding the mounts on. I then sold the engine and I have a 7mgte in my garage that I'm rebuilding with a forged bottum end better head gasket and new tourqe setting for the head bolts. I got it off my dad a couple of years ago, a couple of years before that he had been rebuilding the engines at his mates house( there both mechanics) but got married and somehow it got left forgotten rusting in the yard. Photos are after I picked it up and gernied off all the grime it was 5mm thick in places!!

I own a factory built corolla Sportivo 2001, there were only 110 made and it is said that only 100 made it here to Australia. I own number 69/110. As the title says, just new owning a AE93 Seca, 5 speed manual, it has the 4AGE engine, still really getting use to the car and learning about it all, it's alot different to my old car (R31 Skyline) Mainly just trying to tidy it up a bit and replace the parts that are needed replacing. After looking around for a cheap daily for a while this popped up. AE82 4 door sedan running a stock but cleaned up 4AC to 3 speed auto. Some random wheels with king springs all round (found the receipt for $360!). I'm giving a budget build a bit of a crack with this one - I picked her up for $200, bargain. The paint is great, interior and motor need a little love, but it runs and drives. Happy with the purchase all in all. Running tally (will be updated as time goes on. About time I put up a rides thread on my 1969 KE15 Toyota Corolla Sprinter, since its been 6 months since I bought it.
