so i spotted this panno sitting neglected at a petrol station, thought it was stolen and had been dumped. had a smashed window but looked like it was in decent condition so i left a note on it asking if they'd like to sell. few weeks later, the owner got in contact with me and a deal was struck and i got it towed back to my mates place the next day where we started to clean it up. to our surprise it came up exceptionally well. the back was full of jahova's witness propaganda and heaps of random shit. manky carpet and whatnot. it took a bit of work to get it running but it did run and drive quite well. the motor was a little smokey though, so i decided to pull it. …

Hi all, I recently sold my 180sx to help fund my new project, a 5K Supercharged KE30! My dad and I will be doing this ourselves, well mainly my dad haha but i'm good for moral support :) We eventually found a 5k block with some gear still on it, and then found a 4k to "mix and match" the bits needed. I then bought a SC14 Supercharger from a Jap Import shop in Adelaide. We will hopefully be doing a manual conversion with some parts that we got from U-Pull-It, just waiting to find a gearbox.Anyway, Be sure to stay tuned in the near future for more updates! :D

Last year 2 days before my birthday I had to swerve a tourist and smashed up my beloved Sigma, so I needed to hunt for a new car and Murd pointed me towards KJ. hey guys. young bloke in town drives (well used to) a 1977 KE35 coupe, which blew a head gasket a few weeks back. i had been asking him about it for a while, and once the gasket blew he called me up and asked me if i wanted it. is $500 too much for it? its a manual running a 3k, paint is almost perfect, and from what i can gather the only spot of rust is just under the fuel cap. what does everyone think? also engine parts arent an issue if i need them, as i have 2 3k's and 2 4k's at my disposal.

Hey my names Nick been a lurch on the forum for quite a while and not too long ago purchased my first rolla. After a lot of looking around and waiting I found a nice standard and immaculate 86 sprinter for sale which I put a deposit down on only to get screwed by the seller. After a little more looking around and waiting I found a nice, loud and sacked ke70 which I instantly fell in love with. The owner offered me a price for it that I couldn’t resist so I jumped on it and it’s now parked in the driveway currently undergoing maintenance for a RWC.. It’s in desperate need of a tune as travelling only 30km sees the fuel gauge read a third of a tank lower and it’s fouling up…

Hello all, after having the corolla running for a few months its time to make the car look good! First of all ill be stripping it and then removing the rust patches out of the vehicle and then giving her a nice paint job! Not decided on what paint colour to give her but i am thinking of the XR8 Deepish Orange colour once the rust is removed and panel work is done then its onto the engine to rebuild the turbo!(Unless a WRX turbo comes in cheaper) Replace the camshaft with a standard one so the car can be tuned properly. Ok, so the project really is in its infancy and to be honest, will probably take a shite load of time to complete, but here goes anyway. Firstly, the most burning question is going to be WHY THE f@ck would i go 3K??? Simple. Cams put a 1.7 capacity factor on for anything super /turbo charged and i wannted something Turbocharged (as one of our company divisions works with turbos) and wanted to run somewhat cheaply, hence i wanted to be in the under 2L class. So backwards configuring, 2000 / 1.7 = 1176cc, so the capacity of the 3k at 1165 is as close to perfect as you could want. Dropped of my KE 17 to have the 7K installed. The shop doing the work is usually busy working on other more exotic and expensive racers. They've already done all the sump clearance measurements so as to get the engine as low down as they can, its also being uprighted a little to give the twin webers more room. They're also building some extractors for it, all of the shelf items are made for smaller capacity engines and are a little small in pipe diameter.

Hey all I have been getting bored awaiting parts from the US for my 2JZ KE20 so i bought back a KE20 i owned years ago and i have started fitting a 1UZFE, it will use a largish frame turbo similar to what i used in a previous 1UZFET Vh commodore i built. So far i have tidied up the seem welded engine bay and applied a base coat of toyota D3 Bamboo of course :lolcry: . The car already had a larger skyline tunnel in it and as hoped it swallows the a340e gearbox without a problem. There had been much discussion on the forums and at club meetings about this nice old Crown wagon at Centre Rd Wreckers that needed saving. I didn't think much of it, assuming it was a rusty bugger or in dire straits, if it had made it to the wreckers. Hey guys, been a member and corolla lover (sometimes inappropriately) for some years, and ive had a many corolla rides and small projects. But this is my first KE, bought off GJM85 from here. Plans are, clean it up a little, treat the rust spots, Rego, then slowly do some small mods when finances permits me. Bit more power from the 4K would be nice, extractors and 2" exhaust to start with. But the thing i really want, is a nice set of wheels. hello ladies and gent. i recently decided that a ca18 ke70 panel van project was just to big for my first project. instead i bought the ke70 off my girlfriend. the big ends are stuffed so with the help of nathan the guch mechanic I'm gonna fully rebuild and work the 4k. its a sexy biege 82 sedan, its about 80% rust free, with only two little cracks in the dash, and the bonnet and left fender have tiny little dents in them, so its prity much in awesome condition. Hey guys, My Project Plan: My plan is to rebuild a Toyota Corolla Ke17 Sprinter which has been my dads for many years and has been sitting around unused since 1996, From what i can gather it had a 4k in the end which had a big cam i think and dad said it went ok.
