I have been a member for a little while and have done a lot research and have been thoroughly inspired, impressed (and depressed ha ha) by a lot of peoples mad skills with welders, engines, fabrication etc, spacious garages, knack for rare parts sourcing and seemingly infinite time and $$ for their rollas. Hey All, my project has been on my mind alot lately and figured i let you guys know officially what's done and what's do be done. I bought the car from John from importbits as some guys from toymods might know him about 2-3 years ago. I had already just bought a sprinter shell off him and was about to do a 3tgte conversion when i spotted this ke25 sitting in his garage looking sad and un-loved. i have my self a AE71 panel van and am starting on my qest to do it up. i have come to a problem as i am a motor mechanic and have no idea what to do as far as panel work gos. i started to strip down the car so i could see just how much rust there was and to my suprise there is a f@#k load lots that need to be plated :dance: is there anyone out there in the sydney 2233 area that does this kind of work on the side, as every day i look at it the project just seems to be too far away from a result. i have through about a new shell but AE71 panel vans are just too hard to find and thats y this one needs to be repaired. open too any advice. or if any …

Hey everyone, My first post on this forum. Enjoy my story 8/. In August 2007 I bought an AE101 halfcut from NSW, $1750 shipped to Vic. The 4AGE in the cut failed compression tests, so the guy threw in an extra 4AGE and box. My first automotive purchase, I was pretty proud of myself :). We'll as i already have a very clean KE30 weekender i thought it might be time to replace the daily 'commonwhore' with a real car. The old man and I found this 1980 KE55S CS hardtop via word of mouth and snapped it up. Wasn't running and had been sitting for two years. A couple minutes later after pulling apart the fuel pump, fitting a new fuel filter and hose, topping up some trans fluid and fitting a new battery she was purring like a beast! Long overdue (can't believe i forgot to put it up here) is my current build, after my disappointing attempt to go fast in a fwd 4agte propelled vehicle that saw me track it for the first time and within a week have it stripped down to a bare shell with the motor in the spirit. Nayways, onto the more interesting stuff, Car is a 1984 genuine ae71 spirit lil rough around the edges, just as i like it. Thought it was about time to get back on here and put some pictures of the ke36's that ive been collecting. The white one i bought from Vic and drove 1700 kms home in one hit it loved it, had 45000kms original when i got it 3 months ago and now has around 54000kms as ive been using it as my parts delivery van for my car parts business. Hi all, I think its about time I posted this up! I bought my Twincam about a year ago now and have been slowly cleaning it up. I found it on the net and decided as its only a couple of burbs away I might as well have a look, the bloke who had it had $2600 on it when I first spotted it but this time he had $1600 on it! Picked up an ae82 twin cam from a local wreckers for $1000 with only a stripped clutch as a fault. We have stripped it out, built strengthening plates for rollover and half built the roll cage, custom fit racing seats, removed steering lock, mounted harnesses, mounted skid plate and replaced a hd clutch. Rally tires are on with the suspension razed a bit! All the welding and fab is done by me. mechanical is me with huge mechanical knowledge support from Dad. Alright this is my new project. Bought it a couple of months ago. its a 1974 ke26 wagon (aka the wagooose) Its white and black... Hello everyone. So I've been wanting to get a corolla project for a while and then this little beauty popped up. This 1980 ke55 which belonged to a good mate of mine that he wanted to do up but never got the chance. Bought it on Saturday. It's a 4k with 5 speed. hey guys. this is my ke70 i swaped my bluebird for... when i first got it it was missing the rear bumper. got onto that striaght away and made a nice ke55 bumper fit.. but sold that and now i have some chrome bumper i found at the wreckers on it. it had an r31 bumper cut down to fit on the front , looked sick just didnt look mean enough for me coz i preffer the chrome look. it has the stock 4k and 4spd 13x7 rims on the back and 13x6 delta streets on the front. recently painted white , but thinking going grant scott style soon painted all the interior black and it looks nuts except for the seats good ol choped springs my plans for the car are: bl…

Hey guys, i thought as there is a bit of a shortage of ke10's i would make a thread about my project. I'm 15 years old and bought my first car about three weeks ago, the 1969 KE10 Corolla cost me $1000 came running, spare 4k angine, 3 sets of taillights includin the ones that were on it, last set of tail light lenses made by toyota still its the buble wrap, few spare indicater lights and lenses and more. It has a bit of rust in the front guards behind the wheel on eachside which will be gettin cut out holpfully next week. The bonnet it came with, has a dint/crease on the top left corner and a fair amount of rust, is fixable but will need alot of time and money..…

hey this is my ke55 the story is a old lady bout this from new and had it till she died and left it in her will for her grand son I'm guessin he hadnt had it for to long judjing on the p plate sitting in the back, he wanted some thing to impress his mates so he took it to the wreckers and sold/swaped it(I'm unsure) i drove past the wrecker and it was sitting in the car yard part out the front so we went and had a look. the only bad parts about it are a tad of rust were the sun visor was and a tad above the driver side light, so i went home and told mum i was buyin it and she goes oh well ok and thats it. it goes very very well but walkes in the steering it has a brand…

Basicaly i bought this 75 ke 30 2 weeks back I'm in melbourne i picked it up with 2 months rego its 4k 4spd manual 4 door and needs work in last 2 weeks i have serviced everything when i got it the brakes didnt work until you pumped about 3-4 times now there fine. had more oil under the car then in the motor and had more dirt and crap in it then u can imagin. all i need is a windscreen now and I'm done can get my roadworthy certficate only problem is the windscreen joint found me a new windscreen but can't find me a seal :jamie: any ideas????

Hey everyone i bought this 1977 KE30 about a month ago all the way in Dapto for 900 buks. The car looked in pretty good condition, not much rust, imaculate interior. I had the car stock for about 3 weeks and then came across these black racing wheels, 250 buks for 4 with rubber! Unfortunatly one was buckled so i used only 2 on the fronts. As soon as i got those wheels on i got syked and cut 2 coils off my front springs. As soon as i lowered the front i discovered how useless the stock shocks were, s i bought a pair of pedders gas shocks and also a pair of pedders lowered springs. Hey guys, since i got to brisbane (recently moved here from darwin NT) ive been looking to fill the void that is not owning a rolla... On the lookout, good old rolla club delivered. Picked up this rolla the other day and the white one for spares the one with flames and the 5k in it needs some work, it had some serious noises inside the head when i went to look at it. Got it home and found the last rocker had come off, to fix that i stole the retainer c clip and spring shim out of the other engine. while i had it apart i pulled the head and checked out the pistons and everything and replaced the head gasket.
