 -Hey guys, okay guys I was checking out this Celica site a while back and I saw this guys Celica... RA20 Its the Fifth Celica Ever Made. It got me thinking, hmm, i wonder if anyone has the youngest or oldest KE30 ever made on rollaclub. It'd be worth checking out whos got what. So I went to the wreckers last week and checked out their 9 KE30 corollas. It turns out that out of them all Lola is the youngest. So i put this challenge forth to everyone on Rollaclub. Post me your Vin number and i'll add it to the list of your model with your name next to it. Feel free to post a pic too. Its entirely up to you to post. From the Administrators: Guys jus…

Hi guys. I'm sure we are all familiar with the idea of a parts car. Some may call them donor cars, parts whores etc. They are an essential tool in building other better cars, and are essential to every restoration. I was looking through some older photos and thought why not start a thread to remember them by. Ill begin. The only rule is that they must be as stripped and flogged looking as possible, as close to the end as possible.

This is a warning to the Rollaclub community and the wider Toyota community. Last November a person started advertising on ebay and not honouring sales. This spread to a number of Toyota related forums. Mainly here and AE86DC. This person has gone by the name of Rollamanke70 and mkxy351gtho on ebay. Rollaclub names of DRFTR, rollaslider87, dirttracker and Ritto64. He has used the names Mickey Scuteri, Nic, Domenic, and to be honest, recently any other that seemed to come it his/her/its head. His emails are usually gmail addresses or non isp addresses. As vigilant as we are, we can't always immediately block any new accounts (for various reasons.) …

Well as the topic says, I will be putting together the Rollaclub 2009 Calendar. The way it will work is that there wont be one car per month like the 2006 Calendar. This time around we will be displaying each community under each month. eg. January - Brisbane February - Sydney March - Melbourne April - Queensland other May - NSW Other (These are just examples, the order may be different.) Now I was hoping that each community would get together and take their best group shot of everyone. But if you can't get a group shot, we can do a bunch of smaller shots grouped together. As for the price, that is yet to be determined but may be in…

Ok folks.. It's that time again! I am willing to make this happen this year, so I'll need pictures of your cars. Preferrably high quality and digital, as I don't have access to a scanner. They will be $30 each, as I am going to do the design and printing of them. There will be 12 pages, and I can probably get 2, maybe 3 cars per page. I'll have to work on that and let you know. I'll also need: Your name & nickname Model of car Nickname of car Definate answers as to who WILL buy one. Part proceeds to go to server fundage ;) Cheers, Matt ;)

I thought this would be a good topic to bring back some memories. The car in question would be my TE Cortina. 250 x-flow Some mild cam 350 Holley Pacemaker Extractors 2.5" Sports Exhaust 4 Speed Manual When I first got this car and took it for a test drive, it scared me and it took me a good couple of months to get used to it as well. I sold it a couple of years back and towards the end of last year, I found the car sitting at a self-serve wrecker. It had majorly rusted sills, broken exhaust and still had the seat covers on it that i took off my sister after she sold her Euro Escort. What car was your fastest and have you ever seen it again?

hey guys, just stickin the intercooler into the 1ggte rolla at the moment, and took the bumper off to make it a bit easier to fiddle around, and well it looks good and its gonna give better flow without the bumper, and theres a wonderfully placed hole on each side where the i/c piping can go. so this brings me to my question: will i get defected or not pass a safety cert if i don't have a front bumper? cheers guys, andrew

Hey guys. Its awkward sharing this because alot of rollaclub members are P platers. About 10 times in the last week i have seen stupid little weeds treating their corolla's like they are f@$kin 600hp drift cars. What really set me off (and I'm still worked up), was a fat little c**t and his 12 foot tall mate in a red ke70 here in toowoomba, almost took out a woman and her kids in a car, revving the ring out of the poor old bitch, just driving like f@$kheads in general, so i gave them a few "words". Then they followed us around for half an hour while my fiance held me in the car, still wanna beat the snot out of them and help them wake up!! I remember being that age, learn…

Hey gents. Placing this thread here for us Corona fiends to use to share info and ask questions rather than destroying each others build threads with garbage. Mods please move if this isn't in the right spot ;) First question I've been wanting answered - who has the spare wheel mounted in the spare wheel well inside the left hand guard? And if so, what is the tyre profile? At some stage mine has been changed to a wider profile and she won't sit in there anymore lol Feel free to ask questions/share ideas in this thread guys.

I've searched and searched but can't find the thread; "Look out Tokyo"....oh, well Well, a friend of mine has been scrapping old cars out here since the '50s. So anyone with the money to pay for shipping could have these pretty cheap I didn't want to post this in the for sale area, because it's not really that kind of deal as we were already talking about this Here is a '63 Chevy Impala 2dr ht with a 230 I-6 and a powerslide. the trunklid is damaged but there is a 4dr parts car with a cherry one to go with it. $800usd! shipping is up to you. I can help with logistics here in the states, but overseas stuff is up to you He has all kinds of old stuff out there!!!

I bought the latest issue of Wheels yesterday (December issue with 'Godzilla' on the front). On page 112 they do a short article on the new VW Golf GT (not GTi, just GT). It will sit between the 2.0L 110kW FSi Sportline and 2.0L turbo 147kW GTi in the Golf model line up. So you'd assume it will have a low boost version of the 2.0L turbo engine, like Audi use, wouldn't you. You'd be wrong. The new Golf GT uses the new TSI motor, which is a 1.4L supercharged and turbocharged 125kW four cylinder petrol engine. VW call it the Twincharger (or TSI), and it's basically the same setup HKS used on their Twincharger setup for the 4A-GZE. Except it actually works properly …

I have the Tayell Automotive product in my Borg Warner Diff. Its basically 2 metal plates and a few springs that exert pressure on the gears in your diff. Its claimed to send power to both wheels, whilst still giving enough slip to drive normally in car parks. Mine was tight as all buggery over 2 years ago, however the spring stiffness drops over time. Then its a simple case of swapping the springs with new ones. $250 for the initial setup, and $100 everytime you need the springs changed. Mine is a few years old and is still works fine to this day. The bloke reckons the springs should last "at least" a full season in a rally car. I'm pretty sure he is happy for…

Have been enjoying a similar topic on BoostCruising and thought we could have some fun with it on RollaClub. Simply try and guess what car I've put a picture of below, and whoever wins gets to post a replacement car for everyone to guess. This is a cruel one for you to have to start with, but I'm a bastard and I LOVE this car.

Okay guys, so are we keen to go again. This time earlier and with luck the calendars would be in your hands by December. Now... what layout do we want?? I've thought of two options. 1. Jan - Darwin (all regional members meet for a photo shoot), Feb - Brisbane etc etc etc Or... 2. Jan - KE10/15/16 (Pick one of each, the best of each from members of the site), Feb - KE20/25/26, March - KE30/35/36/50 etc etc etc What do we think. If we think yes we will go ahead and this time I will need payment placed upon order. I will place a payment deadline as I was stuck with over 30 calendars from this year, this is all due to many people who just didn't produce…

Mine is a limited edition Lotus Esprit, turbo. About a 91 model. Belonged to my gfs dad. Blue leather, alpine goodies, white pearl paint and it did 130 km/h in second gear without revving all that hard. Soooo fun. You pretty much lie down inside it. Think he only paid about 65 or 70 grand for it too.

Hey Hey, Every one knows i have a t18 and i like skids and it finally caught up with me. The cops watched me do some stupid stuff then pulled me over. They took my t18 for 48 hours, I don't get it back till tuesday. I have to pay $265 to get my car back on tuesday or they charge me $44 a to hold it each day. So i have a court date on the 27th of this month. Most likely going to lose my licence for a long time as i have a relativly long history of doing stupid things. The maximum time i can lose it for is 5 years and the max jail time is 12 months i think. Now who wants to buy my t18 so i can pay fines or pay bubba to keep away from my butt ? Lesson learnt …

This is pretty much what the car will look like with the paint on... it looks a bit more reddy in the color, but it's Tiger Mica... Now, do I go with black airbrushed Tiger stripes in portions of the vehicle? Throughout the whole car? Or none at all? Your votes and comments please...

Greetings all, We see lots of photos of awesome Corollas on here which we all love, but I've been thinking... :hmm: ...they're all stationary! So I thought how about a page dedicated to photos (and video links) of Corolla's in action...doing what they do best! I'm talking drifting, motorkhana, rally, burnouts, paddock bashing and even AE model reverse donuts if we have to :lolcry: !! Whatever floats your boat, so long as its a Toyota Corolla and its moving or smoking! Some ideal examples to get things started...the birth of Corolla racing in KE10's in Australia What does everyone think? Cheers, Tom
