Hey folks, I thought it was about time I put up my new aquisition. I started out with a 1975 KE30 that I intended to take out for the odd khanacross and maybe even rally one day, but it needed a lot of work and I couldn't quite bring myself to being comfortable with bending it. I figured it was probably going to be a little harder to find decent panels when I needed them, so I sold that and picked up something newer. And here she is, a 1984 KE70. Just found a new Project, Just when i was about to re-power my Ke17 SL, I found an unbelieveably rust free Ke15 sprinter. So plan have now changed for the ke17, now will be selling it ealry next year - selling as is, with the fully worked 5K. I've been working up the motivation to do this for a while now as its been on the road for 6 months or so. The car is street registered and engineered for all the mods. I've had this car for 8 years with numerous K motors in it before the urge to have a Rotary got the best of me 3 years ago. I got engineers approval and then ripped out the Hot 5K and twin carbs and sold them before I changed my mind about the conversion. so i spotted this panno sitting neglected at a petrol station, thought it was stolen and had been dumped. had a smashed window but looked like it was in decent condition so i left a note on it asking if they'd like to sell. few weeks later, the owner got in contact with me and a deal was struck and i got it towed back to my mates place the next day where we started to clean it up. to our surprise it came up exceptionally well. the back was full of jahova's witness propaganda and heaps of random shit. manky carpet and whatnot. it took a bit of work to get it running but it did run and drive quite well. the motor was a little smokey though, so i decided to pull it. …

Decided to restore a Ke 55 from the ground up and customise it along the way. I've been sitting on this project for a year now. I purchased a 79 in typical fashion, bogged like pork dressed as lamb. She came with a five speed and an engine dumped in the bay. Her black interior was completely removed and stored in the cab along with a spare manifold, radiator and all the bits and bobs you want. While her dash is seamless the rear arches and the usual suspects in bottom corners of the rear glass are present along with the expected rust in the front quarters and a kilo of dirt under each of them.

Hey All, Decided to create a build page to hopefully keep myself inspired. So story is 4agte into KE30. This is not my first build however as I am pulling out my 4A from my ae92 build to go rwd. Engine has been completely rebuilt a few years back and I have done maybe 1,000km on it and had trouble with the charger so stopped driving it. So loom pulled, just need to do fluids and driveshaft’s and I’m ready to lift. At this stage the 30 is pretty rough needs paint etc, but wanna mount up engine and drive for a bit, break a few stock diffs then do it all properly. Here’s where I’m at.

I ended up with another project car. It is a 1975 (pre-smog for CA) TE38 E5. I bought it cheap. I drive 300+ miles to see the car. The ad said "Runs Good". I got there and he said it hasn't been driven for 7 years and he had just got it started. He had owned the car for a long time. It served as a first car for all 3 of his kids. I checked it over, bought it, did some minor engine work, and drove it 324 miles home with no issues. The car drives well, but an engine rebuild is needed. It has low power due to compression. It's ugly as sin. The pictures make it look better than it actually is.

Hay guys just picked up my new ke20. I didn't have the heart to cut up my wagon so I bought this. It's still a one owner car. It's pretty clean with 64000kms on the clock. Plans are either 13bt or sr20det. Still working out a few things but the aim of the build is a super clean street car. getting my licencee back in around 3 months so ive started building a daily its a 1983 ae71 auto and i oicked it up for $100, it had been sitting in a paddock for nearly 5 years.. so far plans are to respray it white, have purchased coil overs and rear springs/shocks.. will be receiving a built 4ac with weber and 5 speed box.. thats about it for the time being

Hey guys. Thought I'd finally post up some pics of my KE70 Wagon, not my first E Chassis but definitely not my last and I don't think I could ever get rid of it. Bought it with a shitload of rust and needed lots of work. All rust was cut out and fibre glassed (may eventually cut and weld), engine issues were fixed. Hi Guys, So i have been posting lots of random questions and i thought i would just start a build thread so i have a central place to find info and share the build. Hey all thought I would introduce my self since I have been lurking on here for a few days So I'm building a 1984 AE71 in to a time attack / hillclimb car. So to start it off i brougnt this car of a lady for $600 and then the stripping started The rear axel was ripped out and sold and a bigger r31 axel and diff purchesed which atm in still lining the mounts up and re welding the mounts on. Ok, i've had the car for eight months now and i've spent well over five grand ($5,000.00+) on getting the car on the road. Since then i've done some minor adjustments and slowly, yet surely, she is progressing. Got the first stage of the Gorilla done, 4 link rear end, shortened Hilux Diff with ford axles and disc brakes, coarse adjustable inverted watts link, adjustable sway bar, in a KE55. The plan with the car is to build a bit of an all rounder, as we don't get enough drag racing, or track racing here to specialise in one or the other. It has been owned by a grandma for the past 37 years and has only traveled 45,000km all up so shes in great condition. Hi all i did have this topic somewhere else because i put it in the wrong spot so i decided to repost it here. This is the ke30 that i bought a few months ago for $20 I have stripped it down completely when i was living on the sunny coast and then moved back to toowoomba and me and a mate pulled the motor and box out, we straightened the radiator saport and painted the enginebay. I have also stripped the pain off the doors guard and boot lid and primed them ready to be painted but they wont get painted until the rest is ready to go.

hey ppls, we have recently purchased a 71 ke20, ive never had a corolla before, a few ra28's have been my only Toyota's, but this 1 came up for sale at a "reasonable" price and I couldn't help myself. as you can see from the pics, the engine bay and interior are pretty neat, the passenger seat will be restitched, but I think the cracks in the dash will be staying as can't afford a new 1, carpet in the front is a littlee worn but some new mats will fix that problem, maybe a new front carpet kit might be on the list depending on the cost, I want the car as neat and original as possible, even the original radio works a treat!! my plans are to respray it, new front shocks, …

Well, where do I start? The build I am currently doing is saving a completely molested and riced out ke30, full of bog, rust and mould. Well guys, I've been hanging to start this thread the moment I seen this car. I knew it was mean to be! It is a 1 OWNER, that's right 1 OWNER KE55 Coupe. It was clearly well looked after, probably the MOST original KE55 coupe in all of VICTORIA! The interior is honest to god, like NEW, I shit you not! It has never been smoked in, it has the original carpet and original seat covers. It even has the original radio and cassette player in working condition!
