  4. http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/veh...n/vsb_ncop.aspx Id encourage anyone setting out on a build to have a few nights reading this novel. Its actually quite sensible, so follow it and they will have to give you a mod plate and you can stay on the road! don't forget to refer to the Australian Design Rules to see exactly what they mean when they refer to them! http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/mot...adr_online.aspx and thirdly, here is a general vehicle certification page. Its handy if you want to know whats involved in importing a car from overseas. http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/mot...ards/index.aspx Enjoy!

  6. If any of you have seen the Rusty Relics thread on ausrotary you would have seen a lot of old, tied and very rusty Mazda’s. Well I thought id start a thread on rollaclub for the same reason except this one will be about Corollas and other Toyotas. I have about 87 MB of Mazda Rusty Relics and only 4 MB of Toyotas so I hope others can contribute. I know most Corollas aren’t that desirable except for the TE27 and a few others but a lot of other models are real collector’s items. Very similar to Mazda’s. I hope to go on a road trip later this year once my KE25 is done and find all the hidden treasure in the bush. Mainly going to find old Mazdas but also early KE Corol…

Here's a small introduction to what's resulted in countless hours, days, weeks, months, years of hard work, tears & dollars spent. The year is 2004, I acquired a Toyota Corolla from one of my friends, Nick. The vehicle had been stripped out with the engine bay painted, sitting beside a colossal pile of parts. Due to lack of time and a few others things, I acquired the old girl on her journey towards a better life. Its an Australian Delivered, 1982 KE70 Sedan owned previously by a Family from the south side of Brizzy. Maybe the 2nd owner? 3rd? who knows. The vehicle drove into the shed as presented below, eventually to end up getting a complete…

Hey, I just bought this wagon and I thought I should make a thread to show it off and get help and ideas etc etc. The car is a white(originally yellow) 1979 ke38, it has done 285000 ks and has a 4k with a 4 speed manual. Its a bit rough in areas(rust, dents, scratches) but overall I am very happy with this car. The interior is fair good. Engine bay not so good, runs fine, just been massively neglected cos last owner had no time for it. Anyway heres photos of the day after I bought it. Visor and all..... Random fake exhaust. (lol). Loving the rear end.. looks even better now its clean and fixed number plate and dent/paint. this is the good si…

Has anyone else got a Corolla Sportivo and has made some modifications to the engine or whatever? Tell me what you guys think about the Sportivo's, and possibilites for mods. I attached some photos as well. :hmm:

There's a fair bit of rust and dents and it looks like i'll need new front guards and bonnet and possibly some pateches to weld in. I've got my plans and i'll start working as soon as this rain stops :glare: Here it is: new pic added cheers

The car will be painted XR6 orange via a workshop where i know a guy ;) I have a j-spec mazda B6T engine that i plan to transplant into her, using an MX5 gearbox (since the motor was east-west from FWD tx3). 24. Hello everyone! Now I realise this is 'Rollaclub' but there isn't a big fan base for Coronas- and Corollas are the next best thing! :P I'm a long time reader and after reading many build threads I've decided it's time to make my own. My name is Stephen and I'm currently in my second year at university. This build began way back in when I was in Year 11 at high school- the moment I turned 17 and got my P's. Firstly I'd like to thank my cousin Adrian for he completed all of the work on my car while I merely held the torch eagerly, trying to learn as much as I could. You may ask "Why a Corona?"... So here's the story of how it came about. My family ha…

So named because of the dozen or so little f@$kers Kristy had to pick off of me. It's a 1962 DODGE Sweptline D200 3/4 ton longbed pickup. I got this because.......; a) I have always loved the lines of the Sweptline Dodges ('61-'71), b) The B3000 is too light for all the towing I do, c) Kristy and I will be moving to Washinton state in a year or so and the B3000 is WAY too light to pull the cars, moving trailer and assorted bullshit the 2,000 miles. So here it is. It looks as if someone did all the bodywork, put it in primer and junked it. It's been sitting since '92 in my buddy's pasture on rims UNDER the drums. 31. Definitely gonna need a MIG me thinks... Not too bad from a distance, 1 of 5 or 6 in OZ? Fabrication definitely required Factory air-conditioning...NOT! Japanese for "rusty"? Back end looks much like OZ T18, maybe easiest to cut the whole arse off and weld on T18 metal? It says "LEVIN", I guess that means I'm O.K. to post on a corolla forum. Hatch is thankfully relatively rust free, otherwise I would be boned... Oh yeah, can't start work just yet, still at previous owners place, waiting for engine to be pulled. Someone wish me luck, I am gonna need it.
