Well it has finally happened, today I went and picked up the sedan that I have been contacting the owner about for 6 months, here is a basic run down of the car. 1985 CSX 5spd sedan. 268,xxxk's (somewhere there, didn't really take much notice). Full logbook service history from day one. The wife of the couple I got it from had it from 17 as her 1st car and had it for the last 11 years, from what I can see she was the 2nd owner. hey guys finally got around to picking up this little gem from a old bloke the next town over for $300. had been sitting since 2008 when the rego ran out, so we rocked up this arvy with a jerry can and a battery......long story short few pumps on the pedal and SHE LIVVVESSSS!!! so down to the important stuff: 18R-C backed by a 4 speed manual, all original granny spec including untouched uncracked original dash with original radio and tape deck, all original chrome hub caps, phat ass grille :) few spots of rust here and there, but nothing unfixable. only have one pic at the moment guys :( will be taking some more tomorrow 4 sho. new pics added!!!

Hi guys I'm Luke from Malta, new member on this site so Hello to all of you ;-) Recently i have purchased a corolla ke25 coupe sl (the on in the picture) To be honest i don't know a lot about them but my plan is to keep the car interior as original as possible, exterior lowered and rims and swap the engine.My play is to put a 3sgte motor gearbox and diff but up now i haven't thought about them to. Hey as some of you would know i just bought Nick Z's Orange coupe. So I just thought i would start a thread so i can remember how she was when i started and what ive done to her. Well guys, being thinking of what to do with my old '55, the dented up old bitch that used to have the 4ktc in it..... this car.... For a few months now I have been toying with the idea of converting it to 4x4 with suzuki sierra running gear! Because the sierras have a seperate gear box and 4wd transfer case, the plan was to put both sieraa diffs, the transfer case, front leaves and a mix match of steering racks. Sierras and corolla are pretty close in chassis rails spacing. Now due to me not being able to find a written off sierra or running gear at a price I'm happy with, I've come up with another plan for the car in the mean time - an entry class Tas rally car.…

Well, I'm at it again. With the introduction of the Evo 2 Corolla, sadly the original car just doesn't cut it anymore. :( Don't get me wrong, it goes competently enough for what it is, but I have stumbled upon an opportunity to have the car I've always wanted. A week and a half ago I purchased for the right price an ex-hillclimb KE20 with a 2TG, T50 and a Celica diff. I now intend to build a TE27 Replica. Why do this when I already have a TE37 replica? I wanted a scooter that was affordable, had a clutch, air filled tyres and was relatively fast and cheap to mod and service. This ruled out any go-ped or zenoa engine. Hey, thought i'd upload some pics of a project that i've started. I bought the car from a mate for $400 and it didn't start when i first went to pick it up cause of a dodgey starter motor, they got it rebuilt and started first turn of the key. Had some exhaust noise and economy wasn't that great, so about 30 bucks later it was running sweet. During the whole time though it had an oil leak or leaks, so i thought i'd pull it apart and do a gasket and seal change, and also do a auto to manual conversion. I wish......... 1GR-FE ... oneday after the KE10 Beams is done Swapped my Datsun 1200 for a overrated little KE20. Well the plans for it are simple... just clean the body up more, find some overrated stock front seats, peal the sticker bomb off the dash, paint the dash black, find a good condition dash pad, fix all the instruments... Best modification so far was Air horns and twisted the window washer to the side to squirt people haha!

Hi all I have been missing having a fun weekend car that I can take on cruises etc and have been keeping an eye out for something classic and preferably in original condition. She looked rather straight and upon inspection I could not find any significant rust spots so I organised for the sellers dad (a tow truck driver) to drop her off at my door and handed over the money. G'day all, this is my new project which I have only had for a couple of days. It's a stock 1980 ke55 SE sedan 4k Auto (slug-o-matic) which I picked up for $350 unregistered. My plans are to put in a 5-speed box and fix a couple of minor issues, such as the drivers guard has had a small hit and the front bumper needs to be straightened slightly. Other then that it's quite a tidy example of this model. Anway I know your all dying to see some pics so here she is. :)

I recently bought a good condition a 1974 KE25 Deluxe Coupe which means it has AIR CONDITIONING!!! named "Lady Brown" It is a 1.2 litre 3K-h 2 speed automatic toyoglide which heavily lacks in acceleration! It is dead stock but my plans are to put a larger carby in it, possibly twin SU's or just a single webber and to do a manual conversion. It has several very small dents on the doors due to inconsiderate people in carparks, to solve this problem i have installed some bumper strips stretching the entire length of the car. i actually think it looks better like this. Hey Hey, Well i finally got my Ke10 home today. 1st things 1st, RUST has a bit but luckily my uncle is Welder by trade and has a MIG and TIG setup at his joint so it doesn't worry me to much. No chassis rust just panels and front sills. No rust around the fuel filler which is good. Some parts are missing but most of the main parts are there. Des :bash:
