Hey Rollaclub, I've been posting here for a while now - lurking even longer - and figured it was about time I shared some details of my current projects, being a silver KE55 XX coupe and a buff KE55 sedan. First the coupe... I first owned a yellow KE35 when I was 16 in 1989. It's my profile pic. After a couple of years I had thoroughly trashed it, so traded "up" to a VK Commodore, then an XF Falcon, then a ZA Fairlane before picking up another bright brown KE35 around 1997 for $800. My 2T-B engine is seriously leaking oil, about 1 litre a day, the starter is dead, and many other problems so I've decided to move all the parts from the ae86 ( 170hp 4age, big front brakes, coilovers suspension, hydraulic handbrake, rear axle with limited slip and rollcage if it fits ) so therefore I have some questions that might already been answered, but I couldn't find it. ae86 parts, ke70 car engine, front suspension, steering components, crossmember = bolt on gearbox and gearbox crossmember = bolt on tailshaft = bolt on or does it need to be shortened? rear axle = bolt on fuel tank with built-in pump = same size, so I'll guess it will fit? anyone done th…

hey guys this is my T-18 its not perfect but it will do I'm yet 2 do anything 2 it yet, i've found a sc14 supercharger with intercooler for cheap so i might get that and put it on once i fix the internals! Nancy '81 KE70 Auto Flat Front. Ex-Rental from Ace Car rentals Picked her up last year some time. Was really into the 4age conversions and i wanted to do it badly. Hi guys i recently sold my Legnum VR4 twin turbo V6 wags blah blah blah. Got over it to be honest. I have been wanting a ke20 corolla for the most part of life :blinks: just never got around to it... Till the perfect one came up, its had all the major work done :blinks: there are still a few bits and pieces that need to be done, such as the roof lining, the guy i bought it off told me that all i need to do is take it to someone to have it done, but I'm insure if it needs an insert or not before putting the lining on :blinks: so if someone could please clarify this that would be great. Hey all I'm just new to this site but i just wanna show yas a few pix of my rolla. Previously i bought a blue KE55 for $650 with 12mths reg and 4 brand new tires. This car ended up gettin a bit battered so i decided to find myself another 55. I came across this yellow one for $200 but the head gasket was gone and it was auto :cool: I transferred the engine and box over, doing the manual conversion in my driveway hehe i couldnt pass it up tho cos it was pretty clean. Ok first things first i had to get rid of those ugly bumpers and put KE30 full chromies on hehe. ($20 each) I also bought brand new headlights and sprayed the rims gloss black. Afew touch ups…

Hey guys, AS you know from my signature I am in the process of building a 4AGTE AE71 sedan, I have not got everything to complete it as yet so i am going to use my spare bigport GE and run it N/A until I can gat a bare Bigport GZE, I will be running the factory auto until I get the GZE then the auto will be off to get a stally and a shift kit (I don't care how gay that sounds to some), The main thing at the moment is I still need to convert the fuel system to EFI, I will be separating the GE FWD harness to run engine only and keep it separate from the factory harness, I'm just waiting for the engine crane and my stand so i can get stuck into it. ***Change Of Vehicle*** I have decided to put together an AE71 Panelvan as i had a spare bigport GE in the shed, I am hoping to have this one running as soon as i get the box and carbies for it, It will be running twin 45mm DCOE webers on a bigport adaptor (on the way from the US), Also need to get extractors and it should be done, I'm going to see how it goes with the stock 4age distributor with an ignition module, There will be no advance but i will just have it setup to run good at high rpm. I've been working up the motivation to do this for a while now as its been on the road for 6 months or so. The car is street registered and engineered for all the mods. I've had this car for 8 years with numerous K motors in it before the urge to have a Rotary got the best of me 3 years ago. I got engineers approval and then ripped out the Hot 5K and twin carbs and sold them before I changed my mind about the conversion. I hit walls where workshops would quote $7K - $10K to do mounting of the motor and gearbox..... Then winter rolled on and I really couldnt be bothered with the car. just brought this on the 3rd of december 09 :D it looked ok like a real pig i loved it not a bad buy for $1000 but i new it needed work so yeah i have plans to make a full JDM spec lookin drift car ... i no its what everyone wants to do to the e7 but i just love the look of jap drift cars so i will do it to lmao will be a slow process but will be done... hope people can help with advice and help gide me threw it all as I'm doing it by myself enjoy reading it came with stock 4-kc falcon sprins in rear (cut) stock rims no interrier on the car but got it with the car no exhaust primer patches every where stock steering wheel etc.

Info: 1984 Ae71 Manual 5-speed (Flogged Bushes, No noises or crunches :yes: ) Csx Trim - Cream with on rips or tears Paint is Mylanta Green, Faded bad and little surface rust. The Body is so darn straight. I have had a look at it over and over and there is no dints or anything of that nature on the car. Yes, I've finally pulled my finger out, and Bluey is on the hoist at Chateau de Wayno's. It rolled in at 1400hrs yesterday, and work started half a stubbie later. Engine and box are out, interior out, body deadener out (mostly), and a certain amount of body ugliness found. New front left guard and valence panel sourced (thanks Fook!). As everyone must know by now, I love my car... and I post bits and pieces up, but I'm going to consolidate it into one thread... It's a 2001 AE112R Sportivo Turbo (Limited Edition) Aztec Gold I recently put in new JBL splits in the front, and I have a new amp (I'll get pics of those). My name is Luke and I have an AE71. Here are some pics of how she started in life. She was delivered from Toyota as a stock auto AE71. She has done some 140,000 k’s before the head decided it was enough and blew it’s stack. I have since decided to replace the engine with a 20 Valve 4AGE. Hey Guys here's my KE20. Ive had it for about 5 months now after selling my yellow KE20. Its very clean and tidy and has no rust in her, being original paint that's a fair effort. It has been owned by a grandma for the past 37 years and has only traveled 45,000km all up so shes in great condition. Recently the poor 3K done a bearing so its been replaced with a 5K with a holden trimatic behind it. Although it will be switched out for a 5 speed in up and coming months. So i got this car cheap. real cheap. knackered 4m. well knackered everything. I found a rebuilt 4m dirt cheap and put it in. got it running and driving then played the game of replacing everything. So I sold my AE71 last night and had already placed a deposit on my new addition, a little yellow KE11. The KE11 will be used as a cruiser/daily through this Summer whilst I look patiently for another daily. I didn’t want to rush out and buy a crap daily that I would regret buying so this thing should tide me over for a bit. The KE still has the 3K which appears to be in really good condition, and overall this car is a very tidy unit. The KE will then be hidden away for a while during the colder months and brought out again late next year when the weather is good again. Hey everyone. Have recently just left a deposit on bezenders ke36. And will be picking it up within a few weeks :yes: thought I'd chuck this up now as I'm bored ATM lol. Anyways will update as things go along. Plans are gettig running a1 and intercool I and later on efi. After Nikki gets her full license we'll upgrade it to a 5kte :hmm: but ATM we gotta get an approval for her to drive a turbo car as it is. Thought id post my ke up for good measure. I bought it Saturday from a fellow rollaclub member for a steal at $250. I managed to drive it from Brisbane to the Goldie with no troubles at all witch i was stoked about :D She cleaned up a treat and passed road worthy same day. Its running a stock standard 4k, 5 speed manual box and plush sheep skin seat covers ;). all runs well and will be done up slowly as the money dribbles in.

Hey Hey, Bought this for a daily. This is to replace my Corona for a while so yeah. Came with new front vented rotors and calipers off a Ae112 i think, So they will go on soon along with new rear rotors and pads. Has the parcel tray still in good nick which amazes me as i havent seen many around. 15x6 wheels, Might be 15x6.5 but not sure yet as i havent had a good chance to look. Adjustable whiteline rear sway bar looks bling, Has yellow rear springs so they might be kings, Not sure but meh. Front struts might be shagged as it feels very very soft. oh well. Hi, I would like to present my rolla which is my sort of obsession :-) Its now twincharged and I think it is very near its complete state (which I am not sure what is exactly :-)) - Let me tell you my story. All started in 2008 when i was desperately looking for something with 4age engine. This E8 appeared on the marked and on the every next day I made a deal with its owner. It was a bit rusty but the engine was in great condition, car was light and nimble, had this smell of old inside :-) it was just great. Ok i have been meening to do this for a wile. So hears the story.... I had first seen the rolla that my mate got from his granny years before and was very jelous. Then we had a job together and I picked up my mate for work everyday and walked past his rolla EVERY DAY. I could not let her just sit there, so i saved enough moola and took it off his hands. Yes another thread by me. But as the topic says I'm building a V6 commodore powered rolla that seems to be popular on these forums lately. This is my old rolla i sold to another member so I'm going to recycle the photos as the new one i bought is the same. Yes thats right it red and has the same white stripe down the side.It is a twin, just doesnt have the hub caps. But i will take some of my own soon. Now i bought this today its a manual car, but no gearbox :P but has all the other mechanical parts. So ill be pulling out the motor, wiring, ECU and everything else that can come off this thing.

This is my thread which has now been copied over for a fifth time, so if it doesnt make sense that's why. I wanted a good all round package that has limited compramises, here's what I wanted to improve: power, torque, braking power, cornering ability, predictability, stereo, looks, reliability, rigidity all while still having enough room to still fit my bike in the back.
